Jessica stared nervously as the tall man turned to stare at her. The man seemed to tighten his suit before he saw the door that opened behind the girl.
"Ck, ck, "he muttered with a cynical smile. "You shouldn't have left the door open like that, Jessica."
Jessica did not answer. The girl only glanced at the door behind her.
"To be honest, I know your mother dragged you here. He's the one who made you come here, but surely you have some common sense, right?"
The man passed by casually towards the door while Jessica remained standing in her place in shock.
Jessica looked around, wondering if there was anything she could use to defend herself in case something happened. An idea arose, he could successfully push the man towards hot water or perhaps flush it with hot water. He's sure of it. Yes, even though Jessica also knew that there was a possibility that the hot water would definitely hit her.
He had another option, a coffee cup that was near the stove. Jessica kept it, holding it with eray behind her body and waiting for the man's voice to lock the door.
"So, Jessica," he said as he walked back towards her and Jessica hid behind the door, ready to beat the guy up. "I'm impressed with you, I-I"
The man slightly flinched as soon as he saw the sudden movement of Jessica who was trying to hit him.
Jessica should have known that she wasn't fast enough. The man easily held onto his wrist and instantly twisted Jessica's hand behind his back, making the cup he was holding fall straight out of his hand.
While holding onto Jessica's body, the man then pushed the girl's body forward, making Jessica's body hit the end of the table. Jessica screeched as she felt her body hit the end of the table. Then the man violently pressed Jessica's cheek against the cold marble.
"Where is he?" Jessica snaps. "Where's my mom? What did you do to him, brengs*k?"
He pressed Jessica's hand further making the girl squeal even more.
"You do have a dirty mouth" she told Jessica. "That's not a good quality of a learned girl like you. I listened when your mother called you to tell you about our breakup. I have to admit that I was hurt. I'm a loving stepfather, Jessica. You know that."
"You're a jerk," Jessica pointed sharply at him and she felt the man let go for a moment.
He turned Jessica's body and threw her on the floor. Jessica started crawling, doing her best to get to the doorway. He seems to have another idea.
But the man quickly grabbed her hair, pulled Jessica's hair to make her stand up. Jessica screamed in pain as the man grabbed her wrist, pushed her and held her body against the clean white wall.
"I suggest you keep your mouth shut if you still want to see your mother again" she whispered to Jessica. "I don't want to kill him. I don't even want to kill you. I just want your dad to do something for me."
"Why?" Jessica wondered. "What do you want, John?"
The man, who turned out to be John, smiled cynically at Jessica. "You'll find out soon enough, Jess. You'll find out soon enough..."
