Soon they were back in Nathan's study. Jessica remained silent as she sat in an empty chair in Nathan's workroom. 

From a distance Jessica could see clearly when her father was talking to a tall woman he knew named Evelyn. Ah no, but according to Jessica her father was more like trying to tease her.

Evelyn, the woman is very beautiful and Jessica is not stupid to know her father's feelings by the way her father looks at the beautiful woman's face. 

Jessica nodded and nodded slowly.

He only hoped that one day his father would try to find someone to continue his life again. Maybe it will bring balance to his life. But the next moment Jessica laughed at herself. He thought that his father could not possibly want any balance because being part of a government organization like this did not require any balance of life.

Father will definitely only focus on his work compared to his wife later. Jessica chuckled, shaking her head. 'Dad will probably only hire a brothel*r if he wants a*s!' inner Jessica.

"You were silent for the last ten minutes, Jessie" Robert said to his daughter who had been sitting quietly in Nathan's chair. 

Robert could see the blanket Jessica was using right now. It was the blanket Jessica used the last time she was here. Jessica placed it over her shoulder while her hand was seen holding Nathan's cup in her hand, Jessica seemed to admire the thing.

"I don't know what to do or say now" Jessica replied to him. "i can't offer any words of wisdom either because it's obvious you won't listen to anything."

Evelyn who had been near them since just now was silent while putting a small cable inside Robert's clothes. Eve's eyes occasionally glanced at Jessica and she wondered inwardly about how difficult it would be if she were in the girl's position.

"Everything will go according to plan" Robert promised his son. "Dimitri will not win this war. And Nathan, he'll be right back, so will dad."

"How did you know that? I used to believe that. I used to think that was true. But now?" Jessica grieves. "Last time, Dimitri tried to blow up the train. He also shot at the building. He kidnapped Nathan. Then how can we be sure? about anything now?"

Robert knew clearly that his daughter must be very worried. And unfortunately, even Robert also started to feel a little worried about everything that happened. 

What Jessica was worried about was actually worrying about in the depths of her heart. Ah, Robert really wants this all done. He did not want to fight Dimitri anymore. He wanted to move on with his life, ah no, but he had to move on.

Robert pulled his suit onto his body and knelt down in front of the chair where Jessica was currently sitting. The girl still noticed the cup she was holding and smiled for a moment. Robert knew who the owner of the glass was. So far only Nathan has a cup like that. Robert then moved his hand to gently comb Jessica's hair, pushing her behind her ear.

"You'll be pretty safe here" Robert told Jessica. "Evelyn will make sure of it."

"Dad will be back soon, Jessie" said Robert again.

"Promise me," Jessica demanded a promise from her father, Robert fell silent. "Dad, you have to promise me. You promised me you'd come back."

"I promise you," said Robert, kissing Jessica's head. 

"It's ridiculous" Jessica lamented in a small voice to her father. "All this is ridiculous. We have to keep splitting up like this."

Robert nodded his head in agreement, staring with a stiff smile at the little girl.

He hugged his daughter for a few seconds before then releasing her back. His hand was holding Jessica's hand. His gaze turned to the side and he did his best to stay calm and calmer.

"Do everything you're told to do" Robert urged his daughter. "Make sure of that."

"Yes." Yeah."

"And don't do anything dangerous or reckless" Robert continued to speak, trying to warn him. "Dad will be back later."

"Stay safe father," Jessica whispered the only advice she could give to her father. 

Robert stroked Jessica's back and then got up. Robert knew that he had to leave before his feelings in his heart broke and became a 'zinc'.

He turned around and nodded at Eve who was near Jessica. The girl looks to nod back at Robert. He looked at Jessica once more, making sure that her daughter was okay with everything that was about to happen. 

Robert left the room. Completely left with the intention of returning Nathan to his home and putting Dimitri in jail.
