Jessica screeched as she felt broken glass scattering inside the car and Nathan instantly pulled his head to her chest as he looked at the man.

"What do you want?" Nathan exclaimed at him, his tone sounding trembling.

"Nothing" the man said to them. "I just want to give you something. That'sthat's all. You don't have to keep away from me like that."

"And neither do you need to hit the car," Nathan and Jessica replied sitting down, sitting as far away from the man as possible. He could feel Nathan's handrails around his waist, trying to protect him.

"I'm getting tired" replied the man. "Again, I don't know how long you're going to keep moving. I wanted to overtake your car but you increased the speed of your car. I have another job to do on the chase appeal. Hear that! I'm just a 'courier'."

"So what's this?" Jessica finally wondered, her voice also sounded trembling. "What's so important that you follow us here and there?"

"Yes, here, he is" he said as he reached into his pocket to pull out a memory card. "I just want to give you this thing!"

He handed the thing to Jessica and the girl quickly picked it up with a trembling hand. Nathan looked at the memory card before then looking back at the man standing by the window.

"Who gave you this?" nathan asked with a curious face.

"A man," said the man while shrugging indifferently. "Yes, he didn't tell me his name. He's a little mysterious. But I don't care, I'm just paid to deliver it."

"You don't know who?" Nathan looked suspiciously.

"Yes" the man nodded. "We met while you were under a tree after which she disappeared. Yeah, anyway, I'm sorry about your car.but."

"Are you okay?" Nathan checks on Jessica as the man's car slides past their car.

"I think so" Jessica replied.

"Stay there. We get out of this car," Nathan tells him and he opens the door and moves to the next door where Jessica is.

Nathan opens the door and helps to pull Jessica in his arms to avoid the glass in his chair. Nathan held Jessica away from the car. He didn't even care about the pain in his ribs and carried the girl.

Nathan ends up taking Jessica down once they get somewhere else, to hide under the trees. Nathan took the memory card from Jessica's hand. Jessica also secretly saw Nathan when the young man began to observe the memory card in his hand.

"Who did this?" Jessica wondered at Nathan, looking at the young man with a curious expression.

"Whoever it is, whoever it is" Nathan said. "I'll find out soon."

Nathan said solemnly. He's gonna do it. He'll find out who the real sender of this memory card is. He'll find out who surprised them half to death like this.

Moments later Nathan called a taxi as the two of them stood on the side of the road, curled up under an umbrella as they waited. They chose to leave the rental car at that place. During the journey home, not even one of them said anything, both of them felt too shaken by what had just happened.
