He quickly shook his head. Jessica then glanced briefly at Nathan. He felt grateful that the young man still seemed to be focused on staring at the computer screen in front of him. Well, right now the young man seems to be more interested in that computer than he is.

A message went back to his phone...

'I want you to shut up. Do you understand what I mean? I also want you to do exactly as I say. That shouldn't be too hard, right? First, you must try to avoid the gaze of your father and Nathan. Then I want you to get out of that office and take a cab. You will wait in the taxi for further instructions.'

Jessica admitted that she did not get along with her mother, but she would not let this happen to her mother. He loves his mother. She was his mother.

What other options does Jessica have besides doing what that person wants? There is no other choice, right? In the end Jessica decided to do what the man asked her to do. Right now he has to escape Nathan, then run as fast as he can to get out of the building.

"Nathan," suddenly Jessica spoke, putting her phone back in her jacket pocket. He picked up his bag and Nathan turned to look at him.

"Yes?"

"Can I breathe fresh air first? Yeah, I mean, it's a little stuffy in here and I'm starting to feel my head a little dizzy right now."

Nathan nodded, "Alright, come on!"

He quietly took a moment to glance back at Jessica. Nathan messed with Jessica's hair before he saw her hand trembling. He held the girl's hand tightly.

"You're shaking" Nathan and Jessica commented, looking down at his hand and forcing himself to chuckle.

"Coffee, ah this must be coffee," Jessica lied to Nathan. "Geez Nathan, how many cups of coffee did you make for me this morning?"

"That's why you should just have some tea" Nathan replied and released his handrails. He turned around and chose to log out of his laptop and take the memory card and keep it in his pocket.

"I'll remember it" Jessica promised him.

"All right, let's go!" take Nathan.

Jessica turned her gaze around, trying to find the best escape route for her. There are more taxis across the street.

"Do you feel better?" Nathan asked as he adjusted his bag on his shoulder and he smiled faintly at Jessica.

"It's better" Jessica lied to the young man.

To be honest, Jessica felt guilty for lying to the young man. He obviously didn't want to do this to her. He doesn't want to lie to Nathan or his father. But does he have any other choice? No. kan.

And also, this was a matter of his mother's safety and that person also threatened to do bad things if he told the others. And okay, maybe Jessica can tell Nathan and the young man can track him down. But will he let her go? Without struggle? That's not possible.

Ck, even with Jessica's resistance, Nathan will never let himself go.

"Nathan.. I. I want you to help me, I want you to help me" said Jessica hesitating.

"If you ask me not to argue with your father then it doesn't seem like it will" Nathan said. "Yes, I tried it. You know it's not as easy as you think."

"No" Jessica replied. "I want you to promise me that. Well, I know you're gonna try and stop me. I know that."

Jessica grabbed Nathan's hand clasping the young man's hand tightly. Yes, Jessica feels fine with him. To be honest, he wanted to stay with Nathan. He wanted to live in a place he knew would be safe. But her mother is in trouble right now. And Jessica will find her mother as soon as possible. That's the only way. That'sallthatis.

"What are you talking about?" Nathan then answered Jessica rather seriously. The smile on his face faded somewhat at this moment.

Jessica gulped violently and shook her head, "They have my mother, Nathan." whispered Jessica.

And then the smile on Nathan's face disappeared completely.
