Jessica raised her eyebrows when she felt like she recognized the man in the coat and the reading glasses.

Jessica, who is currently wearing reading glasses, pulls her glasses from the base of her nose when she sees Nathan with an awkward expression, waving her hand.

The man greeted Jessica.

Just then, the waiter behind the counter immediately called Nathan to hand over the hot chocolate of his order.

Nathan quickly pays back and looks at Jessica, who is still staring at him. And that's when Nathan realizes he has no choice but to go see Robert's daughter.

"You're Nathan, aren't you?" Jessica asked hesitantly, trying to ascertain Nathan's identity. "You're the guy at the gallery that time?"

Nathan smiled awkwardly while scratching his non-itchy nape. Nathan then took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Why should he be nervous, this was just a casual conversation.

If a fight that was a dangerous thing just didn't kill Robert, then it should, Nathan can also do small things like this right?

"Yes, I was the guy in the gallery building that day" Nathan replied later. "Jessica, how are you?"

"Oh, not too bad," the girl replied while playing the frame of the glasses that she had been using a while ago to read. "I don't think you remember my name."

"Of course, I'm not someone who easily forgets the identity of others. I was trained for it." Nathan replied smiling.

Jessica nodded, "Oh yeah, did you know that my father went to Japan?"

"I heard the rumors" Nathan replied casually. "Actually we tend not to interfere in the affairs of the Ministry of Defense, but some rumors are indeed often spread."

"Ah, I almost forgot that you work in a different ministry office." Jessica patted her own head, "I'm sorry, I just-"

"No problem" Nathan shook his hand. "Yes, your father's office is different from mine. And I can say that a job at the Ministry of Transport is a much easier job compared to the Ministry of Defense."

"I agree. I also think that working for the Ministry of Transport is a much better job than my father's" Jessica told Nathan. Jessica brushed her hair to the right side while staring at her Macbook before returning to talk. "It's nothing, my point is. He always seems to go away all the time. Always busy and always a lot of work."

"I agree with that," Nathan nodded before he pointed with his chin towards Jessica's Macbook. "By the way, what are you working on?"

"Oh, this is." Jessica said as she looked back at her Macbook screen. He was silent for a moment. "I'm working on some math.I mean, considering my dad left me here alone, so I'm kind of bored. Dad doesn't have Wi-Fi in his new house so I have to come here."

Look, Nathan! There was absolutely no reason to worry about him at this moment. Why were you so worried?

It seems like your head will also remain attached to your body. Nobody's gonna shoot you. Nothing will separate your head from your neck. And Robert won't finish you off when he comes home for the loss of his daughter. Apparently Nathan really thinks too much of himself.

"Ah, so it seems." Nathan said after a few seconds with a relieved smile.

Nathan slowly sits himself in the chair next to Jessica as the girl shows him her computer screen. He felt Jessica was not wrong or did something bad to it. Something must be wrong with the screen. And this is Nathan's area of expertise, maybe he can help the girl.

Nathan remained silent for a few seconds as suddenly his hands moved, moving his chocolate cup and then pulling his chair closer to Jessica's.

"Yes," he replied, "I think there must be something wrong with that."

"I know." she exclaimed, her fingers then grabbed her own hair in annoyance. "I mean, I don't even know what I've done. A while ago I was just working on a math problem and the next second was the screen going like this. If this thing breaks, then I'm really in big trouble."

"Hopefully it won't be like that" Nathan replied trying to calm down, finally Nathan looked at Jessica. "Do you mind if I, um.. check it out?"

"Ah, you want to try to check it out? Of course, it doesn't matter," Jessica said then turned the screen on her Macbook so Nathan could see it better.

Nathan shrugged and adjusted the glasses at the base of his nose before his fingers began to move to touch the object. The young man then pulled out his laptop from inside the bag. He took the cable and plugged it into Jessica's Macbook and plugged it into his own laptop.

Jessica allowed the young man to tinker with her Macbook until soon the screen returned to normal. Jessica's eyes then widened as she looked at Nathan's finger-typing movements on the laptop's keyboard at lightning speed, constant boxes appearing on her laptop's screen.

"Well, that's amazing. I don't think I've ever seen anyone typing so fast like this" Jessica muttered in amazement as she continued to pay attention to Nathan's work.

For a moment the young man grinned proudly upon hearing the compliment from the girl. "Yes, you need to know, I am not an ordinary worker at the Ministry of Transportation. With my amazing talent, I even managed to get a higher position than people." he said.

"Connections? Not Transportation?"

"That's the same." Nathan replied to Jessica, making the girl nod her head in understanding.

After that they were silent for a while. Nathan is busy with his work on Jessica's Macbook. While Jessica was silent and kept watching Nathan, she heard her iPhone start ringing from inside her bag.

Jessica then pulled her phone out of her bag under the chair and stared at her screen for a few seconds.

"Oh, it's dad" Jessica said smilingly.

"Mrs. Robert?"

Nathan looked at Jessica for a moment, then Jessica nodded her head quickly.

"I have to lift this up" Jessica said and was nodding back by Nathan.
