Nathan is well aware of Jessica's desire to return to her home country, Singapore. Yes, if Nathan can be honest, in the depths of his heart, he doesn't really like the idea. Sure oes. To be honest, Nathan would prefer if Jessica was in this country alone. One of the reasons was so that he could always keep an eye on the girl.

For Nathan, Jessica's idea of returning to Singapore was not so good because well... Dimitri will definitely be able to get Jessica back later. As is known if currently Dimitri is still freely roaming anywhere. The existence of the criminal is still unknown to anyone. And that's what made Nathan so worried.

But Nathan also knew that Jessica had to return to Singapore. The girl had to return to continue her education there. He couldn't stop the girl from staying here. Since the beginning, Jessica came here just for vacation and met her father, right?

Nathan kept cursing himself in his heart. He was all about himself who should have enjoyed the rest of his time with Jessica before the girl returned. But how could he do that? He was also busy with his work at the office.

He lacks the expertise to divide his time well between relationships and work. Just a reminder, if this has even been a long time since the last time Nathan had a relationship with someone before. He has no experience.

It was eight o'clock at night when Nathan drove Jessica back to her apartment. On the way home, none of them spoke. They just stared at the night sky, enjoying the beautiful view from the stars.

Nathan's arms are still in Jessica's close embrace. The girl was embracing him since they were still at the restaurant earlier. He held Natahn as if he did not want to let go of his hand for a second. And instead of feeling uncomfortable, Nathan was happy when Jessica did that to him. He felt very valuable to someone.

Nathan looked at Jessica. He felt that after this girl returned to Singapore, she would definitely feel so lonely here. Nathan feels that his life will definitely return monotonous like the previous days. Just work.. work and work.

But it's fine. Nathan will try not to complain about the situation. He had lived alone for a long time, so he could definitely easily live this kind of life again. And he felt that if the girl was going to leave soon, then he had to make good memories for them.

Similarly, as long as they were still at the place to eat, Nathan knew that it was one of the opportunities for him to spend time with the girl. And Nathan thought after this, every day he would spend with Jessica was a precious thing.

"What are you doing?" Nathan asked Jessica as soon as he walked towards the kitchen. He could see Jessica who was currently busy alone in the kitchen of his home.

Just a moment ago, they got home and decided to order a big pizza to enjoy together. Nathan thinks he's full and can barely move. But Jessica never seems to be satisfied with that. Yeah, looks like Jessica's making another dough that Nathan doesn't know what to do.

"I'm going to make a cake" Jessica replied casually as her hand grabbed the available apron on the table and immediately plugged it into her own body.

"Are you not tired? We've even just come from the outside, you're supposed to take a break, right?" nathan said that made Jessica laugh.

"Yes, I just feel the need to do something, Nathan." she said with a smile on her face.

"Do something?"

Jessica nodded, "Yes."

"You can watch television!" nathan's advice was immediately countered with a headband by the girl..

"I don't know how many television shows I've watched recently. That wasn't much fun for me. I felt I needed to do something else to keep my mind and body busy."

Nathan nodded his head understanding. "That's what it looks like."

"Yes." Yeah."

Will the work be difficult?"

"Do you want me to help?" Nathan asked Jessica.

"You can help if you want?" haggard Jessica.

"Yes, I honestly never made a cake like this. I've never baked a cake before either" Nathan commented to Jessica. 

"It's so easy."

"I'd rather cook than bake a cake."

"Good!" Jessica said and she took a medium-sized bowl before opening her cookbook tutorial to the page she wanted. 

"What is this for?" Nathan raised the bowl Jessica had just given him.

"For you!"

Nathan looked at the bowl and then looked at Jessica. "Forku?"

"Yes Nathan, can you make this cake with me?" jessica urged him. 

"What?"

"I haven't made cakes in a long time. I did it all the time while I was in Singapore. Usually when the exam schedule is near."

Nathan's eyebrows crinkled and he moved to stand next to Jessica, taking a peek at the recipe book on the table with her. 

"If the exam is near, shouldn't you be studying?" nathan said as he handed Jessica the bowl.

Jessica rolled her eyes lazily and gently nudged Nathan's right arm. Jessica then took the eggs and butter from the cupboard before then putting them on the table.

"I knew it was supposed to be, '" he told Nathan. "The thought of learning is not something that can scare me or worry me, Nathan. That really shook me,"

"Yes, I feel it will definitely thrill everyone." Nathan replied flatly to him.

"But not for me." Said Jessica relaxed while grabbing the scales on her right.

"All right, we can do whatever you want to do. It won't bother me, Jessica."

Jessica smiled and kissed the young man's cheek before then she weighed the flour. 

Jessica glanced at Nathan and she could see a small red hue on the young man's cheeks. Nathan coughed awkwardly before then he looked at Jessica. He pushed his glasses which somewhat fell to the base of his nose.
