Robert could see when his daughter dropped the hotel phone on the floor and looked up at his father. Robert's eyebrows wrinkled confused. What the hell is it? What the hell's going on? Why did his daughter look shocked at once tense at the same time.
Robert slowly moved to stand beside Jessica, placing his hand on the girl's back.
"Nathan." Jessica's voice rang out.
"What's Nathan's phone call?" robert tried to conclude.
Jessica seemed to shake her head making Robert even more confused. Robert bent down to retrieve the hotel phone on the floor. He then put the phone to his ear but he could hear nothing. The phone's closed.
"She's carrying Nathan" Jessica whispered in a trembling tone. He looked at his father with a tense look. "Dad, he took Nathan ."
Robert took a moment to put the phone back on the table before he looked back at his daughter.
"What do you mean, Jess?" robert asked, puzzled.
"Dimitri.he kidnapped Nathan, father." Jessica said in a frustrated tone.
"What?"
"Dad! The one who just called was him. Dimitri! He knows where we are at the moment. And he just told me that he took Nathan with him. Nathan's in danger, dad."
Robert could now see Jessica's facial skin turning deathly pale with her eyes widened. Robert rubbed the girl's back gently. He realized that he had no other choice but to return to BIN headquarters.
"What are we gonna do?" Jessica asked her father seriously. "We can't let this happen. We have to help him. We have to help Nathan, Dad."
"Not us, Jessie. You don't have to do anything. This is my job." Robert answered to him.
Robert then moved quickly back and forth in the room to pick up the necessary items and slip them into the suit he was wearing.
Jessica watched her father move and she lowered her hands to her hips and immediately shook her head, refusing to let him go alone.
"What does father mean? You want to go alone?" Jessica confirmed.
"Yes, you'll be waiting here!" Robert was busy with his stuff.
"I can't just stay here and let you go alone" Jessica protested. "dad knows that she wants dad dead. It was me he wanted to kill all this time."
"He was after Dad. But do you think he'll hesitate to kill you too, Jess?" Robert. He then walked to the bathroom and continued his sentence. "Dad's seen him kill innocent people, Jessica. He'll do anything to win this game."
"What game?" snapped Jessica sonorous.
Jessica then moved, moving to stand by the bathroom door, staring at her father who was busy packing. The girl's body seemed to tremble and she clenched her hands together. In the depths of her heart, Jessica was curious and wondered what could happen to Nathan at this point.
Robert stopped his movement. He took a deep breath as he stood in the bathroom. At the moment he leaned both hands against the lip of the sink, his head looked down. Right now, it felt like he did not want to do anything other than run away and forget about all his troubles.
Jessica looked at her father concerned. He knew that his father must be tired of everything right now. Jessica walked closer to her father.
"Dad, I'm sorry I yelled at you. But I'm really worried about you." Jessica said in a soft tone.
"Dad knows Jessie." Robert nodded his head understanding. "Dad just didn't want you to interfere in this matter. This is obviously too dangerous for you."
"But father-"
"Although this is dangerous for the father, but the father has experienced something like this. Dad is more experienced. But you? You weren't. That's why I don't want you to interfere with anything." Robert explained.
Jessica nodded and nodded. "All right dad."
Robert nodded back. He moved back to arrange his things. Jessica just silently watched as she folded her hands on her chest.
"But why does it have to be Nathan, dad? Nathan didn't even do anything wrong to her. He has nothing to do with all this" whispered Jessica with a puzzled look. "Why does he want to hurt her?"
Robert shook his head, "Instead Nathan is the main thing in this matter!"
"What?"
"Nathan is the reason we're still alive on the train, Jess." Robert confessed to his daughter, while straightening his tie.
"Dimitri thinks we'll act irrationally if she harms Nathan," Robert replied then glancing at Jessica. "Well, he thinks one of us will do it."
From the glance in the corner of his eyes Robert could see Jessica who blushed embarrassed when he heard what Robert said to his daughter. Jessica folded her hands around her chest and turned her face away from her father's gaze. Look, the girl didn't even deny anything from what Robert said just now.
And for Jessica herself there's no point in her having to deny it. He was interested in Nathan. He didn't know why and he didn't know how long it had been coming, or when it had been, but he knew that he did feel something for the young man.
"So what are you going to do now?" Jessica wondered, her voice was almost like a whisper.
"We're going back to the organization building," said Robert. "father will talk to Regina and will probably leave you there. You'll be safe there."
"If I'm not wrong, the last time you said the same thing to me," Jessica reminded her father.
"Dad talk seriously this time. Regina's gonna make sure you're protected in a safe place" Robert said.
Jessica realized that she had no choice but to agree with what her father had said. He changed his clothes in a hurry, before following his father out of the hotel room.
