Jessica looked at her phone screen and she tapped her phone on her chin as she sighed deeply and Nathan looked at her.
"Are you okay?"
"It's okay" Jessica lied. "He was always stubborn. He insisted that John was a good man for him. I don't understand how. She was so afraid of being alone ... but .. spending her time with a stupid guy like John? Geez, I actually feel that he would be happier if alone compared to John. I don't even care about why John could tear the house apart."
"You look worried" Nathan told him.
Nathan continued to notice the frown lines on the girl's forehead as they began to move from under the tree and down the rocky road. Nathan continues to hold the umbrella over them as Jessica adjusts her bag over her shoulder.
"I'm not worried" Jessica tried to convince Nathan. "I'm just confused as to why John had to tear the house apart. I mean... Did he even destroy my room? My room! Ck, why would he do that? Why did he leave my mother? You tau? Everything just seems so weird to me."
In between their steps, Nathan occasionally looked around. He was always aware that he had to be careful when he was outside like this. Because once again, he works for a secret government organization. Everything can happen let alone all the risks that may be approaching because of his work.
"I can see it" Nathan said in a soft tone. "If you want I can see where John's going. I think it'll be easy for me."
"You're gonna do it?" Jessica wondered. "Are you not going to get in trouble for finding out things that are outside of your job?"
Nathan chuckles and they finally get near the car as Jessica pulls the car keys out of her bag. He unlocks the car and Nathan escorts him to the driver's side, opening the door for him.
"I actually doubt that anyone will notice it. And also if they knew it then I could easily cover my tracks."
Jessica stood beside him, between his figure and the figure of the tall man. He immediately placed his hand on Nathan's shoulder and moved to kiss the young man once more. Nathan immediately pulled back his head after a second, subtly refusing over the kiss.
"Look at this, you let the water into the car" Nathan told him.
Jessica chuckled, "May I continue in the car?"
"Come in and stop bothering me." Nathan complained.
"I rarely hear you complain" Jessica ended up getting in the car and Nathan shut the door as Jessica put the key in contact.
Meanwhile, next to her, Jessica is focusing on starting the car engine.
"Are you okay?" nathan asked worriedly as he saw the girl massaging the base of his nose.
"I'm okay, just a little headache. It's not a big deal." Jessica replied.
"You sure?"
Jesaica nodded, "Yes, actually headaches are a bad result that I always get when I finish talking or arguing with my mother." - Jessica.
Nathan nodded his head in understanding and immediately moved his bag backwards. Jessica began to gas and focus her eyes on the highway in front of her, trying her best not to lose concentration while driving in the rain.
Nathan glanced at Jessica, he took a deep breath, while nervousness ran through him. Actually Nathan just likes someone driving at the best of times. He also does not like heavy rain when driving a car.
"Why don't you just stop by the cafe?" Nathan tried to suggest after he swallowed his saliva. "We can have a drink and dinner first. Maybe the rain will pass..."
"When did the last bus end?" Jessica wondered. "Are we going to get to the terminal in time? Will the bus be late?"
"Oh, don't worry," Nathan replied hurriedly. "The last bus is leaving at ten tonight. We have plenty of time."
"That sounds good to me," Jessica replied while nodding her head.
He continued driving on the streets intending to find a cafe for them to eat, occasionally checking his car's rearview mirror. After looking at it a few times, he finally realized the same car kept following their car the entire time.
Jessica didn't feel strange at first. He didn't even think it was suspicious. But Jessica starts to get suspicious and questions her strangeness when she decides to break into a cafe parking lot. Jessica could see that the car was also entering the cafe parking lot that they came to.
"This car follows us all the way through" Jessica suddenly told Nathan.
