He was thinking of calling Robert at this moment. But that very second Nathan immediately put the thought out of his head.

Nathan was sure he had more important things to report to the man. In addition, if the whereabouts of his daughter is not known by Robert himself, then there is no point for Nathan to tell him.

No, he can't tell Robert.

Nathan is clearly alone in this.

Realizing that made Nathan instantly sigh slowly. He then opted out of his computer login. Nathan pulls his phone from the pocket of his warm coat and quickly taps the location of the girl.

Nathan managed to find a taxi moments after he got near the highway. He told the destination to the taxi driver and the taxi rolled in that very second.

In the taxi, Nathan once again looks at the screen of his phone to check the whereabouts of the girl and finds that she is still in the cake shop. A tense feeling re-entered Nathan's mind. The main thing that scares him is that Robert will definitely shoot him in the head if he finds out that Nathan has lost his daughter.

Nathan shuddered to himself as he imagined that. He hurriedly shook his head as he began to imagine that. He sighed slowly, trying to calm himself.

Still in between his fears, Nathan seriously begins to imagine himself possibly having to move somewhere, like the countryside to escape the atrocities of Robert Anderson. He certainly did not want to have to lose his head because of this problem.

But Nanthan couldn't let that happen. That's not gonna happen. Because Nathan was convinced that he could stop her before that scary thing happened to him. Whatever way. And the most important thing right now is, she has to find Jessica first.

That's when the taxi driver stopped and asked Nathan for his payment. Grumbling with impatience at the driver, Nathan quickly took his wallet out of his pocket and handed the driver a hundred thousand bills. Nathan then told the chatty driver to keep the change.

And for a while after getting out of the car, Nathan stood on the sidewalk, staring at the screen of his phone and the building in front of him in turn. He quickly realized that it was not a cake shop at all, but a small cafe.

"Why is the information I've received a cake shop?" mumbling wonder.

Nathan stepped foot, crossed the highway. He walked in, after pushing the glass door and making the bell above the door ring. Nathan looked around the cafe. And he could clearly see the girl he had been looking for since just now was sitting casually in the corner of the cafe.

Near the table the girl was seen two more people who were sitting and focusing on their affairs. The middle one opened the thick book that was in front of him. And the others were staring at his laptop, working on something, while occasionally sipping a drink in a glass.

Nathan considers turning away and walking out of the cafe as soon as he finds out with his own eyes that the girl is perfectly safe and only playing with the Macbook in his hands.

But then Nathan thought how striking he would be if he had to come and go all of a sudden like that without buying anything in the cafe. And in the end, Nathan then decided to go to the cashier's table to order something.

"I want to order one hot chocolate, please," Nathan said in a polite tone.

"You want a drink here, sir?" ask the waiter at the cashier's desk for a response from Nathan.

Nathan stared briefly at the direction Jessica was sitting in and looked back at the waiter. "I'll just take you away." she replied later.

The waiter nodded and immediately made an order. Nathan leaned near the cashier's desk to wait for his order. Nathan sighed slowly. He secretly took into account all the money he had just spent. He grieved when he realized that this futile journey had cost him at least one hundred and fifty thousand and it was his personal money.

Nathan grieves cynically again. Robert really did him a disservice for all this nonsense. Just look at it later, he will definitely charge Robert with damages for this when they meet again later.

Nathan looked around him just as the girl picked up her white cup and slowly sipped her cappuccino. The girl's eyes then moved to put the cup back and she accidentally looked at Nathan who also happened to be staring at her.

'Damn, he saw me' Nathan said in his heart.
