Nathan looked at Jessica's skin that appeared to be damaged by burns. Nathan glanced at the girl at a glance just as Jessica saw her and saw Nathan shaking his head. Jessica knew very well that it was a less pleasant sight to see.

"I know" Jessica whispered to him. "It must look really disgusting."

"No," Nathan refuted, "It's not as bad as you think."

"I don't know what to say" Jessica said. He placed his fingers along his thighs, grimacing as Nathan applied the ointment. "I mean. I..."

"It's okay," Nathan said to her, re-applying the ointment that had been prescribed to Jessica "It could have been even worse."

Jessica screeched, "So many worse things are happening in this world to others, yet here I am crying over something like this. I'm really pathetic."

"You're just sad" Nathan replied. He pushed his glasses up before he pushed the ointment back to Jessica's feet. Jessica had no intention of saying anything. He just stared at Nathan's activities in silence.

"Nathan" Jessica said as she looked at the young man. "You don't have to do this, I can."

"I told you, it doesn't matter, I can help you do this" Nathan said. He stopped his activities for a moment to glance at Jessica.

The girl looked back at Nathan. He pulled his hair down his shoulders. He felt Nathan's hand gently rubbing the ointment on his skin. The young man slowly applied the ointment as Jessica then bit her lower lip in pain.

Nathan took a quick glance, watching Jessica in pain. Nathan gulped and began to bandage Jessica's legs, slowly wrapping a white cloth around her feet.

"It's done! You can wear one of my clothes, if you want." Nathan finally spoke while getting up, straightening up and extending his hand to help Jessica. "I doubt you'll ever wear that disgusting dress again."

"It's actually one of my favorite dresses" Jessica complained to Nathan. "And it's not cheap."

"Didn't your father promise you a walk and a shopping spree?" Nathan wondered as Jessica stood up quickly.

The girl stood up somewhat staggeringly even almost lost her footing. His forehead accidentally hits the shower when Nathan manages to keep him standing.

"Oh," he lamented, his hand holding his forehead.

"Are you okay?" Nathan wonders. Her hand was on Jessica's upper arm. The girl nodded at him, slowly looking into his eyeballs. Nathan smiled as Jessica smiled back at him, one of Jessica's hands nervously tucked her hair behind her ear.

"I think taking care of me is getting harder by the day" Jessica whispered to him.

The corner of Nathan's lips was pulled upwards again and he could even feel his glasses getting warm on his skin due to the hot water vapor.

"You did keep me busy, especially by running away from a ruthless killer like Dimitri. I had to run to Thailand to find you, and now you're in my apartment."

"To be honest, I never even asked or told you to come to Thailand" Jessica replied, not trying to move from her position in Nathan's embrace.

"No, no" Nathan agreed, "but who knows what else your fate would be without me?"

"Yes, well, everyone knows it's true. You are the one who saved my life. Without you my father wouldn't have found me."

"Yes, um, as I recall you even said that you were going to buy me a drink because of that," Nathan tried to remind him and Nathan could see that Jessica had set her eyes on his lips. Nathan gulped, he knew very well what Jessica was thinking right now. And she couldn't help but think of the same thing as Jessica.

"We'll go together only if you choose to tell me about you."

"As I said before" Nathan replied, "I'd rather be a mystery. I think most people like mysteries?"

"I prefer the simple things in life today" Jessica whispered to him.

"Like cereal, or tea.. or maybe a family drama?"

"Family dorm?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Ah, soap opera?"

"Em, right."

"I don't think soap operas fall into the category as simple." - Jessica."

"But I like it."

"You watch Sinetron?" Jessica wondered, pulling herself back from Nathan as she looked at the little red hue on the young man's cheeks. Nathan hurriedly threw away his gaze awkwardly.

"Sometimes," replied Nathan. "Only when there is a good story to watch..."

"You really are a man of mystery" Jessica murmured before she finally chose to act.

She hesitantly pressed her lips against Nathan's. He wondered what the young man would do after a moment of stiffness. Nathan chose not to move, he was simply too shocked to think of such a shocking action. Finally, he realized what was about to happen when Jessica suddenly just pulled him closer, her hands curling behind Nathan's head.

Nathan could feel Jessica's lips move to hers as she realized that she should have responded to the kiss. Jessica moved her arms around Nathan's neck toying with the hair behind the young man's head. Nathan stroked Jessica's neck with his fingers, tickling her neck before she realized what had happened to her.

Jessica felt a cold wind suddenly strike all over her body as she opened her eyes to look down. He's rounded. He retreated from Nathan, their lips opened as the programmer finally lowered his gaze, looking down. This time the red hue that formed lasted for a moment on his face. Jessica's towel came off. Isn't the time just right?

Nathan closed his eyes and turned around, coming out of the bathroom. Jessica leaned over to pick up the falling towel, re-wraping the thing all over her body again as she looked at Nathan who rushed out of the bathroom.

"I'll get my t-shirt" Nathan shouted as he closed the bathroom door.

"Yes.thank you.." Jessica replied, sitting back in the plastic chair of the bathroom whose door was closed while Nathan walked into his bedroom.

Nathan grabbed the dark blue shirt and closed the closet door. Then he hurriedly closed the door of his room. He limply lowered his head so as to touch the top of the nightstand.

'What did I just do? Mr. Robert will kill me if he sees what just happened. That.yes, even though I have the gun in my hand.' His mind is desperate.
