"Yes just calm down. I can fit in with the party just in case you don't remember."
"Yes" replied Nathan. "You did say something about that before. I'm sure the party might be like a university reunion party so don't worry. This isn't a parent's party. And some of the people there might be as old as me or as you are,"
"Yes, I can understand," Jessica replied with a smile. "But, may I borrow your iron, because as I said before, my clothes have not been ironed.
"Of course" Nathan stepped into the closet to look for an iron.
"It looks like I put it here before, " Nathan said as he fiddled with his furniture cabinet.
Jessica couldn't help but laugh when she saw Nathan couldn't find an iron in his closet.
"Let me just look, your ribs will hurt if you move too much to look for them" Jessica said.
"All right! Oh yeah, do you want a cup of tea?" Nathan asked Jessica when the girl pulled the iron box out of the closet and went to heat the iron.
Jessica shook her head when she heard Nathan's offer and Jessica was silent for a while. Shaking his head again, he looked towards Nathan who was currently pouring himself a drink.
"I don't like tea very much" Jessica said slowly, admitting. "I actually prefer coffee."
"I know that my sense of humor doesn't exist" Nathan tells him, "but I feel that you must be joking about that right? How can you not like tea?"
"Yes, I do prefer coffee," Jessica said shrugging her shoulders indifferently as she pulled out her dress from inside the bag.
Jessica put the dress on the ironing board and looked through the material to make sure she wouldn't set the iron in a fashion that was too hot and could damage the fabric. He started ironing before Nathan gave him a glass of water. Nathan knows that he likes water.
Nathan sat on the bench, groaning softly as he sat himself on the chair. She noticed Jessica, who was ironing her dress quietly, her hair falling down onto her back. Jessica occasionally looked into the dress and checked the condition of the dress.
"That seems different..." Nathan told him calmly. " ...I mean when compared to the dress in your social media photos, this one is a bit closed."
"You have to stop stalking my social media," Jessica said, sneering, her tone sounding funny as Nathan looked at her. "Why? Does this look too similar to a mother's dress?"
"No," Nathan quickly shook his head, trying to convince Jessica. "It looks better, it's nice to see it. I was just saying that it was a little different from your usual dress."
"Well, I don't want to go with you with something that looks too cheap" she replied with a haughty look and Nathan smiled as he recalled the girl while wearing one of her more revealing dresses.
"You need to get back to the hospital, right?" Nathan checked and Jessica nodded.
"I'll be gone next week or anytime," Jessica replied as she flicked her hand "The scars are still a bit prominent and look disgusting."
"That's not disgusting, Jessica."
"That's what you think Nathan is, but to me it's so disgusting" Jessica replied smiling wryly.
Jessica then finished ironing and put the equipment down, put it back in the closet.
"So, that means the people there will definitely mention your real name, right?" Jessica asked, making sure Nathan.
Nathan took a deep breath and nodded at the girl. He suspected his friends would do it. A shadow came at him as he leaned against the breakfast table.
Nathan held the cup tightly and took a deep breath. "I think they'll do it."
"And can you think that tension will kill me? Imagine everyone calling you by a name you don't like." Jessica teased him further and Nathan just chuckled, putting his cup back on the kitchen table.
"Nathan Jones's. I think that's your name... Mr. Jones." joked Jessixa again.
Jessica let the name sink into her head and a smile then appeared on her lips. Nathan nodded his head, considering his answer, while staring at Jessica who was also staring at him and a small grin appeared on Jessica's face.
"I'd rather you call me Nathan."
"Yes, I think I'm used to it, by that name," Jessica replied. "You don't mind when I called you by your last name?"
"Not at all," Nathan said shaking his head. "By the way, if there's anything you need to do before we go, go ahead."
After saying that, Nathan took back his cup and looked at Jessica who was moving from her position.
"Yes, it looks like I'm going to take a shower and freshen up, if that's okay?" Jessica made sure to Nathan.
Nathan nodded at Jessica and looked at her from his position.
"No problem" Nathan replied and watched as the girl went to the bathroom. He took a deep breath and moved away to his own room with the cup in his hand. He wondered to himself what he could wear to the party tonight.
