In the afternoon, Robert is asked by Jessica to go look for Nathan. The girl kept asking where Nathan was and it started to upset Robert.
He decided to start looking for Nathan. Yeah, it wasn't hard for Robert to know where the young man was. Robert was very confident that Nathan would definitely choose to go to the hospital cafeteria to order tea or coffee.
As soon as he arrived at the hospital cafeteria, Robert immediately circulated his gaze, gazing at the entire canteen area and sure enough, just right, he could see Nathan sitting in the corner of the canteen enjoying a glass of hot tea.
Robert sighed slowly and walked up to the young man. He immediately pulled up the chair opposite Nathan and sighed before opening the conversation.
"She asked you," Robert said quietly to Nathan.
Nathan looked at Robert with a hard-to-understand look.
Robert knew that the young man felt bad for him. "I told him you were coming with me. He looked surprised and excited and he wanted to meet you. Yeah, actually you've been hiding here long enough."
Nathan awkwardly cleared his throat and sipped his teacup. To be honest this is the fourth tea that Nathan has spent. He had repeatedly ordered the drink while sitting quietly waiting.
"Yes, I know you need some time alone with him" Nathan tried to tell Robert while lowering his head. "He .. well .. I mean he has lost his mother and is suffering pain. You're the only family he has right now. I just feel like you should be by her side, comforting her. I just didn't want to disturb your togetherness back then. "
Robert looked at Nathan curiously before then he nodded in agreement. He sighed slowly and looked at Nathan.
"Then I thank you for that," said Robert, Nathan could feel the sincerity in his voice for once. "Just be gentle with her, Nathan."
"I will, that's for sure." Nathan promised Robert, finished his tea. "Didn't you go back to his room with me?"
Robert shook his head and took out a cell phone from his pocket. "I need to call Regina and see what we want to do with John. Anyway, I don't want to be there when you hug my daughter. It's definitely not something I want to watch."
"Yes, countless," Robert replied in a relaxed tone. "This is my daughter, Nathan. I believe you know clearly that you should be careful with him. Don't hurt her."
"I will try my best to do what is best for him. You know, he wouldn't even listen to me to stay away and forget you."
"You want him to forget me?" nathan replied while raising his eyebrows.
"That's how."
"It's so cruel." Nathan grieved then he stood up, his hand moving into his jacket pocket staring at Robert.
"Well, honestly I'd rather you both forget each other." Robert grumbled. "Tell him that I'll be back in ten minutes. You shouldn't stay the night."
"Who will take care of him?"
"Me, who else. She's my daughter."
"But don't you have to work?"
"It looks like an exception could be made for an agent like me."
"Secret agent you mean," Nathan said. "I'll see you later."
"Yes" Robert nodded in agreement.
