My Dad Turns Out to be Eyes

"What's wrong?" Nathan looked at Jessica who was staring at his phone screen in fear.

Jessica's hands seemed to tremble after reading the message. While Nathan frowned increasingly confused.

"He's here" Jessica said, her voice now shaking.

Nathan quickly retrieves the phone from Jessica's hand to see and read the contents of the message himself.

It's not just a message.

There was also a photo sent to Jessica. And that's a picture of Nathan and Jessica that was taken just moments ago, just as Nathan was sitting next to Jessica, hugging the girl's body as she cried.

“OK..oke...” said Nathan. He was too confused by what he saw on the screen. He could not think clearly for even a moment.

"Nathan, he's here."

"Yes, I know." Nathan replied rising from his position.

"Where are you going?"

"I'll look for him for a minute."

Nathan quickly rushed towards the door, pulled the door knob, opened it to look towards the hallway. But he didn't see anyone in the hallway, there wasn't a single person watching them. The hallway was empty, not even a single hospital attendant. On this floor it is only filled by a few people.

Nathan was still in his position before his eyes accidentally looked at the CCTV camera in the corner. Nathan stared fixedly at the cctv camera. She'll hack him soon to find out about this.

"There's nothing here" Nathan said, turning into the room, looking at Jessica. "This hallway is even very quiet."

"But it's obviously him!" Jessica nodded in an uneasy manner. "Who else can do it? Only him. Just Dimitri!"

"I don't know who sent it" Nathan said softly. He walked back to sit on the chair where he was sitting some time ago. "I can't conclude either. Evidence is important if you want to accuse someone."

Nathan raised his hand and placed it on Jessica's shoulder, trying to calm the girl down.

Jessica nodded, "but I don't want to be alone."

"I'm not leaving you here. Calm down."

A few moments waited, but Robert did not come.

"Nathan!"

"Hm."

"What if my father is with Dimitri now? What if Dimitri hurt my father?" Jessica said worriedly and Nathan raised his hand to check the clock.

Nathan was silent for a few seconds. It could have happened because it's been a while since Robert's departure. But the man didn't come back here.

"I'll look for him!" nathan said he was about to stand up but stopped when Jessica held him back.

"Don't! Don't go anywhere." Jessica nodded. "I don't want to be alone."

Nathan looked at Jessica for a moment then nodded.

"All right, I'll accompany you here. But I'll ask the nurse to look for him if he doesn't come back in a minute" Nathan told Jessica.

Jessica nodded in agreement then the two of them looked towards the window, their gazes widening. 

Nathan lowered his gaze down as he felt Jessica snap her finger into his fingers, the girl's eyes still locked on the hospital windows and hallways.

Nathan clenched his hands before then looking back towards the window. And in the next second, he hurriedly released his finger link at Jessica upon seeing Robert enter.
