My Dad Turns Out to be Eyes

There was a gunshot coming from one of the rooms in the house. Jessica curled up in fear at the sound of the gunshot. He worries. In her entire life, Jessica had never experienced such a difficult situation.

Even the incident with Nathan at that time was not at all comparable to the current situation. But in the next second Jessica raised her head and looked at the surrounding area just to confirm her conjecture.

Actually he suspected the sound of a door slam and also the shot was the work of his father. Jessica kept looking around her to look for signs from her father.

But is that really his father? Or Jessica is just too hopeful. Would he be happy if his father came for him. Jessica really misses her father but in the depths of her heart, she honestly wishes that her father would not come for her. Jessica wants her father to stay away from her to stay safe.

Dimitri stood outside the room where he left Jessica. He thought the gunshot had come from Robert. A small grenade was in his hand as he waited for Robert to enter the room. Only then did he plan to throw the grenade away and see the house burn.

Robert had indeed survived his shot and his men. But Dimitri won't let Robert survive a second time.

Dimitri signaled the rest of his men to burn the house down. His men nodded and began to burn the entire room in the house, including the room where Jessica was.

For Dimitri using Jessica was the only proper way to lure Robert out. Because Robert will definitely try to find his son no matter what.

Shortly thereafter, Dimitri's conjecture proved correct.

"Jessica!" Robert shouted as the house slowly burned down. He coughed once before turning to the kitchen. It was the last room for her to look for signs of her daughter's whereabouts.

Previously from his hiding place, Robert saw clearly when Dimitri dragged Jessica and brought her daughter into the house and it was the last time he saw Jessica.

"No!" Jessica shouted loudly from the warehouse near the kitchen. "Dad! Just go! It's trap!"

Robert did not care about traps. He had arranged a few things to protect himself from them.

And as soon as Robert set foot in the barn near the kitchen, he heard gunshots through the window. He ducked down and ran past them before he heard the sound of a grenade explosion.

The duarrr!

The grenade explosion destroyed almost the entire room of the house. Robert was angry. He then pushed a table in the middle of the room and turned it so he could hide behind the table.

Robert then quickly protected Jessica with his own body, as the fire began to creep into the weathered table.

Robert moved hurriedly and grabbed his daughter, pulling her into his arms. The fire seems to be growing. And it made Robert realize he had to be quick. After that Robert untied the rope that was on Jessica's wrist.

"What's this?" Jessica wondered as Robert placed it in a small hole in one of the rooms, trying to protect her daughter from the fire.

Robert ducked down and re-tied at Jessica's ankle.

"This is a secret exit" Robert said. "You wait for me here, Jessica."

"What are you gonna do?" Jessica asked worriedly.

"I'll do what Dimitri wants me to do. 'Burning' this house," Robert and Jessica replied with no choice but to nod. He saw his father running into the house.

Shortly after, Jessica heard more gunshots. Before then came the sound of a slamming from inside the room and Jessica hid in a corner. He was afraid that he would be caught by the bad guys.

Then Jessica nervously came out of her hiding place, trying to look for signs from her father.

And Jessica could see clearly as her father now rushed back to the place, and held her hand.

"We must go" urged Robert.

Robert then stepped up quickly, leading the way down the hallway, occasionally turning his head back, ascertaining if Jessica was still following him. But just a few steps he walked, his eyes were rounded when he heard the sound of an explosion from above.

Robert looked back and Jessica did the same thing, a fear surfacing inside Jessica.

"Run!" Robert exclaimed suddenly in a commanding tone.

Jessica did as her father said. He ran hurriedly behind Robert as he suddenly felt the heat of the fire getting closer to his back.

Robert with a quick movement then jumped into a hidden corner to take cover from the explosion. She pulls Jessica with her, but…

"Akkkhhh!"

"Jessica!"
