Jessica looked at Nathan fixedly before grieving,
"What makes you think confidently that I'm going to take the elevator and go downstairs with you? All I know right now is that you could also be one of the people who fought my father."
"If I was the one who fought your father, then why would your father trust me with this information?" nathan asked as he pulled out his own phone and showed her the tracking device on Jessica's phone.
"This?"
"Tracker!"
"W-what?" Jessica was shocked.
"Your father directly asked me to track you down before he left. He put a tracking device on your phone. And he needs my presence to make sure you're safe as long as he goes to Japan." Nathan explained. To be honest, he had already begun to get caught off guard by Jessica's current attitude.
Jessica could clearly see the flashing red dot on the young man's cell phone. His gaze then turned back to Nathan and the young man put his phone back into his coat pocket. Nathan then pushed his reading glasses closer to his eyes as he stared at Jessica.
"You see for yourself? I have no intention and will never intend to hurt you." Nathan tried to tell the girl. "I know you're very confused right now, but be patient, because it's someone named Marie who will explain everything to you later. But before that you need to come with me first, okay!"
Jessica knew that she would lose nothing more now if she trusted this young man before her. Nathan didn't lie to her, and he could see it from Nathan. But at this moment Jessica was just angry, for some reason. Jessica thought that it might be because she was still very shocked over everything that had just happened to her just a moment ago.
"OK," Jessica said as she nodded her head resignedly.
"All right! Now you just have to come with me" Nathan said as he waited for the elevator to open. A small smile appeared on her face before then she turned to look at Jessica. "I assure you, everything will be fine."
Jessica chose to remain silent until the elevator door opened and Nathan stepped inside the elevator. Inside the elevator, none of them opened the chat. After a while, the elevator opened again. Nathan tells Jessica to follow him.
Arriving at the two of them in a long hallway, Nathan moved slowly, down a dark brick passageway. There was only a small lamp on the wall that lit up the path in that passageway. A cold atmosphere instantly enveloped Jessica as she walked behind Nathan.
"Where's Marie?" nathan asked as soon as they came to a man sitting behind the lobby table.
Jessica continued to rub her cold-feeling arms. Everything down there was cold and also very humid. And that's what makes Jessica so curious, this is indeed a good place for protection. But why did the BIN people choose a place underground like this? But Jessica didn't get a chance to ask Nathan anything at the time.
"He's in his room" the man replied to Nathan in a flat tone. "I'll tell him you've come. He's been waiting for you since."
"Thank you, I'm going to the room just waiting inside" Nathan said, pointing at a door and nodding his head back at Jessica to follow her.
Jessica followed Nathan again who had currently pushed a door that seemed to be heading into another room.
Krieett!
The door then opened and suddenly made Jessica's eyes widen when she saw the room she had just entered. This room looked completely different from the one Jessica had seen before. This is very large and looks clean white when compared to the hallway he had passed earlier.
And even more surprising to Jessica was the row of computers and the row of work desks that she passed by at this time. This kind of scene only Jessica has seen in movies.
Ah, and there's also a big screen attached to the wall up ahead. But all the tools seemed dead, there was absolutely no sign of human life there. Is it because it's night so there's no one but them and some guards?
In the middle of the room, there was a large white pillar that adorned the amazing room. Jessica continued to follow Nathan down the stairs before she heard a voice from a woman speaking.
His voice sounded very firm.
"I believe you weren't followed by anyone, Nathan" the woman told Nathan. He stepped down the stairs and walked closer to Nathan who was standing before him.
