"So, how does it feel when you find out who your father really is?" dimitri said with a slanted smile looking at Jessica's face.
Jessica did not answer and chose to remain silent. He bit his lower lip either feeling the feeling of anger, annoyance, fear and other feelings that were currently mixed in his heart.
Dimitri then raised his hand up to comb Jessica's hair behind his ear. The man then pulled up the seat that was nearby and sat right in front of Jessica. He is seen tapping his own knee with his index finger as he patiently waits for an answer from the girl.
Jessica's gaze moved to look towards Nathan who was still not moving at all from his position. It appeared that the young man was also watching Jessica from where she was standing at the moment.
Nathan glanced around, staring one by one at Dimitri's men. They are very much. He certainly won't be able to fight these people. Nathan shook his head, he couldn't knock them out not even a single person. Nathan can't fight at all because he's not a field agent like Robert.
Nathan quietly moved his hand and put it in his pants pocket to check if he kept his phone there. But there was nothing in his pocket. Nathan then recalls that the last time he touched his phone was when he called Edward to bring Marie.
Given that, Nathan clucked bitterly. That thing must be in his coat pocket right now.
"So, do you currently have no intention of talking about anything, Jessie?" dimitri asked with a small smile on Jessica.
The girl was still silent, not intending at all to answer Dimitri's question.
"Oh come on, baby." Dimitri chuckled "You know that we both have something in common. You'd agree if I said that we'd been persecuted. We're betrayed. In lie."
It was Jessica's turn to smile. He looked at Dimitri with a sinister smile
"I'd rather say it's a different thing. I admit that the problem that happened to you is actually much worse than my problem. Yes, it is true that you were betrayed by your own superiors. I also felt very concerned about it." Jessica finally started talking.
Dimitri raised next to his eyebrows before he tilted his head. Dimitri sighed slowly then crossed his legs. He leaned his body closer to Jessica. And with his chin resting on his palm, he was now trying to weigh the words of the girl.
"So you even think that I'm the one who suffers the most here? Well, well, all right," Dimitri chuckled, looking at the men who had come with him earlier then looked back at Jessica.
"You must have your own opinion." Dimitri was silent for a few seconds before finally returning to speak. "Ck, but why would you say such a thing. What do you think your father would say if he heard this from you?"
Jessica snorted cynically. "I did say that you are the one who suffers the most here" Jessica said slowly. "But I never said that I agreed with all the crimes you've committed right now. So my father would agree with my opinion."
A sneer emerged from Dimitri's face after hearing that sentence. He shook his head while chuckling before he finally leaned on the back of the chair and combed his own hair back with his hands.
For a moment he even almost believed that this girl was defending him. He was almost fooled by this girl.
"You're a damn girl*an!" muttered Dimitri looked at Jessica with a cold gaze.
"But how did you get in here? Security's so tight outside." Nathan finally spoke.
Nathan's words immediately changed the atmosphere in the room. Previously, Jessica's words to Dimitri had made the atmosphere in the room tense, evidenced by the man's expression that looked very angry.
The former agent turned to look at Nathan who had just asked him to speak. He looked at Nathan with a flat gaze, making Nathan's body instantly freeze under his gaze. He swallowed his mouth rough. He is actually scared but he has to keep trying his best to distract Dimitri from Jessica.
Nathan was convinced that Dimitri was really upset by Jessica's words. He doesn't want Dimitri to fail to control his emotions and beat up Jessica.
"Why did I get in here?" Dimitri asked back.
"Who helped you?" Nathan narrowed his eyes.
"I'm just trying to get out of my comfort zone, so I'm trying to hack the system." Dimitri told him while shaking his shoulders casually. "Why? Did you think that breaking into the security system would be so hard for me?"
"I-i…"
"Look at Nathan, I can even easily hack into the system of our beloved organization. Ah, you know what? It'll all be easier when you know how to do it."
"If you're capable of that, then you should realize that Robert isn't here" Nathan tried to speak in a more composed tone. "And killing his daughter won't help you anything."
Dimitri raised his eyebrows, looking at Nathan with a cynical smile. "Who said anything about killing him?"
After saying that Dimitri turned to look back at Jessica and shook his head. "I have absolutely no intention of killing this girl."
"really? What's the big plan?" Jessica asked again in a defiant tone. He then sighed cynically. "But whatever it is, my father will definitely make sure that the plan will fail."
"Will he manage to derail it?" dimitri asked Jessica, her tone sounded incredulous and even seemed to be underestimating. "I doubt that."
Dimitri pointed towards Nathan. "You see! Nathan even failed to protect the system. And as for Robert, hm. as we see him today, it seems like he has a weakness that would make him not even dare to just touch me."
"What do you mean?" Jessica stared hard.
"You! You're Robert's weakness."
