Jessica doesn't know how long she's been waiting since Nathan went to her office. For Jessica time seemed to go a long way because somehow she felt Nathan had been gone too long.
"When he'll be back" Jessica murmured as she checked the clock on Nathan's wall.
Jessica is sitting on Nathan's leather sofa. He hugged his own knees, tried to balance the television remote he was holding and kept switching back and forth changing television channels repeatedly.
He took a shower and changed his clothes. She was currently wearing her nightgown, her wet hair had broken through her back shoulders and had dried up naturally.
Jessica continued to keep herself in watchful looking eyes. Repeatedly he also looked towards the main door, waiting for Nathan's arrival back to the apartment.
For a moment Jessica glanced at the screen of her Macbook. Since Nathan's departure, he has kept his Macbook screen on. Jessica finally took the object and decided to read math problems, she had to continue to train her knowledge so as not to forget about the lessons while here.
Jessica was just about to click on the internet and start looking for new math problems, just as suddenly her laptop screen went blank again.
"What'sthis? Why would he die?" says annoyed. "The battery is out."
"Ah, pesky battery*n," complained Jessica.
He was about to get up and look for the charger and his movements stopped when he suddenly saw a beam of light before white words appeared on the screen. Jessica could feel her blood cold and her breath choking as she placed the thing on her lap and read the contents of the words on that screen.
"Si*l.. jeez.. si*l..." Jessica whispers.
Jessica felt her pulse thumping even louder. "What'sthis? How did this happen?"
'Alone, gorgeous? I saw that your dear Nathan had left you alone there. Yeah, isn't that the same thing your mom and dad did. Who really cares about you, Jessica?'
After reading that sentence, Jessica did her best not to experience excessive shock because of the content of the sentence. He tried to turn off the Macbook, pressing the button ferociously. But why can't it? The writing was not missing from the screen.
'Don't want to answer anything, Jessica? How boring you are. Yeah, I know that you were there.'
Again another letter appeared.
After reading that, Jessica chose to remain silent. He sees around him. How could he know? That's when her webcam light came on and she felt so panicked. A small box appeared in the lower left corner to show his face. She could feel fear gushing through her as she placed her hands on the webcam camera.
Moments after that, a sentence appeared on his computer screen.
'Why not accept. Come on, talk to me, Jessica. I know how much you love to talk. I know how being the center of attention makes you so happy. Wouldn't it surprise me if this stress would definitely cause you to grab a bottle of drink? That's what you used to do, isn't it? You can't handle the tension and you're gonna go drink.'
Jessica is round, this guy even knows Jessica's habits first. How could?
'It's boring, Jessica. You didn't answer me. How boring you are. ah, but you don't have to worry. It's not you that I want, although it could be you that I need.
Jessica quickly slammed the lid of her Macbook and pushed it away from her to the other side of the sofa. His hands covered his mouth as he stood up and moved swiftly through Nathan's kitchen, doing his best to keep his distance from his Macbook.
