"What are you doing here?" ask Robert.
"I. I just…"
"Didn't you hear my warning the last time we spoke?" Robert said in a cold tone.
Nathan scratched his nape awkwardly.
"Yes, I thought you said you were going to try to kill me" the man replied. He pushed his glasses further up his nose as he said so. "We are currently in the hospital. So it looks like I'm in the right place to be treated after you do."
Robert sighed softly hearing this young man's reply before him.
"Why are you here?" Robert asked this young man before him, trying to shift the subject.
The young man, Nathan Jones, stared fixedly at Robert before he pulled the bag on his shoulder and hung it on his finger, handing it right in front of Robert.
"I came to give you this." Nathan said.
Robert raised his eyebrows in wonder. "What'sthis? You came all this way just to carry Jessica's bag?"
"Actually I'm just trying to get his bag back to him" Nathan said casually.
Robert raised his eyebrows in astonishment. Nathan stood up awkwardly. He coughed before trying to look at Jessica's door.
"Well, he also has my coat, after all" Nathan replied scratching his non-itchy head. "I want to take it from him."
"I think your coat was even burned at the time of the Kingdom" Robert said with a flat expression.
"really?"
"Don't worry. I'm sure the head of our organization will be able to replace or even buy you a new coat."
"It's a pity, but I love that coat," Nathan muttered, shaking his shoulders relaxed. Nathan stared fixedly at Robert then pointed into Jessica's room with his chin. "Then what about him? Is his condition okay?"
Hearing the question, Robert looked into Jessica's room. He then took a slow breath.
Nathan nodded.
"Yes, I know. I think I heard a little bit of debate from the corner of the hallway" Nathan said.
"You eavesdropping?"
"It's just a prank job."
"And?"
"Yes, as you know, I'm not a prankster. So I can't do that kind of thing."
"We never know the character of people." Robert's taunts make Nathan chuckle.
Nathan then fell silent for a few seconds before folding both his hands in front of his chest. "I think for now it's better for you to stay away until they're done. Where's the burn?"
"On his feet. Right at his feet." said Robert softly, a look of regret still clearly visible on his face.
He put Jessica's bag on her shoulder. "That's not bad, but the doctor told me that Jessica would definitely have a scar. Yeah, he's lucky he didn't have to undergo a skin graft."
Nathan could clearly see the sadness on Robert's face. Yes, to a man so calm and restrained, it was strange for Nathan to see Robert suffer like that. It was a bit strange to see him with emotions other than anger.
"I need a cup of coffee" Nathan said later. "Do you want to join me?"
Robert let his lips pull upwards and smiled obliquely as Nathan was seen folding his hands in front of his chest. Nathan looked at him with a serious hand on his face.
"In addition, it seems I need to talk to you about Dimitri."
"I think so. I'm coming with you." replied Robert later.
Robert and Nathan then began to walk quietly through the hallway until they finally arrived at the hospital canteen.
