"Hello?" Luffy said to the snail.

"We're all ready here, captain," Gem said by phone, drawing Robin's attention.

"How much did you get?" Luffy asked.

"We managed to get all the Million and Billion members who were around different cities in Alabasta. The only ones left were the members Crocodile ordered to disguise themselves as rebel troops and royal guards," Gem said, much to Robin's surprise.

"So, all that's left is to recruit an agent who has a number" Luffy said with a smile.

"I'll hand it to you, captain," Gem replied causing Luffy to laugh.

"All the fun will begin at dawn. I'll take care of them then" Luffy said before turning to Robin and asking her. "Do you know of a secret location where I can hold meetings?" Luffy asked in a whispering tone.

"Yes, at Spider's Cafe," Robin said in a soft voice as well. "It was in the desert between Nanohana and Alubarna," he said, causing Luffy to nod before he returned to the snail.

"Listen," said Luffy, drawing Gem's attention. "I want you, Mikita, Marianne, and Jiro to go to Spider's Cafe in the desert between Nanohana and Alubarna" he said in a commanding tone. "And wait for me there" he added.

"Aye, sir," replied the Gem, "We're going there now" he said.

"Good, see you," Luffy said before hanging up the phone and slipping a transponder snail into his coat.

"Who is that?" Robin asked with a curious look on her face.

"you recognize him as Mr. 5" Luffy replied with a grin causing Robin's eyes to widen slightly.

"So, this is why many of our agents are not responding" Robin said, causing Luffy to laugh. "So, what's the plan now?" robin asked, making Luffy sigh and look at Crocodile before he spoke.

"Now we wait for the fun to begin," Luffy said before turning around and looking at Robin with a curious look on his face, before Luffy asked Robin. "By the way do you know Crocodile's plans in Alubarna?" Luffy asked.

"He put a bomb that was about to explode in the square, but I don't know where he hid it" Robin said.

"That's quite helpful," Luffy said before he started thinking. "Now if only there was a way to tell Smoker about it," Luffy told himself loud enough that Robin could hear.

"Are you two working together?" Robin asked in an amused tone.

"It's more like a temporary truce" Luffy said causing the woman to laugh.

"I'm sure he can finish it, somehow," Luffy said before jumping down from Gator. "It's time we go to Alubarna" said Luffy, looking up, at the sky and trying to summon his lightning cloud.

"Then go up and let's go" Robin said with a chuckle.

"I have my own vehicle" said Luffy as a cloud began to slowly descend from the sky and startled the former Baroque Works agent. "The weather at night is much cooler, so there is more moisture in the air. It should be enough to support the clouds I'm calling out to," Luffy said before he walked towards the bound Crocodile.

Luffy then raised the Shichibukai and threw it into the clouds before Luffy jumped on the clouds and looked at Robin. "Are you not coming?" he asked, taking Robin out of his shock.

"Ummm, sure," said Robin a little hesitant about the idea of riding the clouds as a vehicle. Robin leaps down from the gator and walks up the clouds, and Luffy extends his hand to hold on. Robin grabs Luffy's hand before being carefully pulled over the clouds. Luffy then gave a mental command to the clouds to make two chairs for them to sit on, then Luffy led Robin to that chair. After they sat down, three flashes of lightning shot out from the clouds and surrounded Crocodile's body, acting as a seatbelt.

"Don't want him to fall" Luffy said in a joking tone. The clouds then shot and began to rise into the sky to a height of about 900 meters.

"Wow, this is amazing" Robin said as she looked at the clouds and looked down at the plains below.

"Yes, right," Luffy replied as he looked around. They are currently speeding at a speed of about 60 kmph over the Alabasta desert. "Tonight was so quiet" said Luffy as he leaned back and looked at the stars. "It's a pity because this desert will be dyed red with blood tomorrow" he added with a dark laugh.

"The plan is so .. but the princess is very pacifist (peace lovers)," Luffy said in a serious tone. "I think it would be pointless to let him witness death" he added.

"So, you're gonna let them kill each other just to teach the princess a lesson about death?" Robin asked slightly raising her tone.

"Yup," Luffy said, causing Robin's eyes to widen. "If she were to one day become the queen of this kingdom, that is something she needs to learn," Luffy said as he adjusted his hat and stared at the desert below. "He spent his entire life in the early part of the Grand Line, he had no idea how evil and vile this world really was," Luffy said in a disgusted tone. "The deeper someone sails into the Grand Line, the worse it gets" he added. "And it's all 'THEY' mistakes, '" luffy fumed. Robin could tell that Luffy hated whoever he meant so much, so Robin kept quiet and said nothing. Luffy was about to say something else, but before he could speak, something below caught Luffy's attention. "Do you see that," said Luffy as he leaned slightly against the edge of the clouds.

"What's wrong?" Robin asked as she leaned over next to Luffy to take a look.

"That's my crew" Luffy said with a slight smile. "And they rode ducks" he added, chuckling.

"That must be the Alabasta Supersonic Duck Squad," Robin said causing Luffy to look at her strangely.

"Supersonic Duck?" Luffy asked, refusing to believe that something so ridiculous could exist in this world.

"Yes, they're the fastest animals in the whole of Alabasta" Robin said before returning his attention to Luffy's crew. "Are we going down to meet them?" Robin asked.

"No," Luffy's reply caught Robin's attention. "As I said before, this is their battle. If things don't go smoothly, I'll go in," Luffy said causing Robin to nod.

*delivery*

Luffy and Robin are in the sky, on top of his crew all night, following them as they journey through the desert on a duck's back. Finally the sun rose and the capital of Alabasta, Alubarna was finally seen. As they approached the capital Luffy saw every member of his crew wearing the same robe and covering their entire bodies.

"Smart," Robin said with a smile as she looked at her new friends. Luffy didn't say anything, he just grinned at the decision of his crew. Luffy then looked up and glanced in another direction, where he saw a huge cloud of dust crossing the desert heading towards Alubarna.

"And it must be a rebel army" Luffy said as he stared at the cloud of dust. "It looks like the party is about to start" Luffy added before turning his attention back to his crew.

"Your crew has guests coming" Robin said, pointing towards the capital. Luffy looked in which direction he pointed and narrowed his eyes trying to see what Robin was looking at. It took a few seconds for Luffy to figure out what was in the direction that the robin was pointing at and after a while, Luffy still could not be sure. From what he could see, there appeared a figure of five individuals standing near the city wall.

"I guess it was agent Crocodile sent here?" Luffy asked while looking at Robin.

"Right, it's Mr. 1 and his partner, Ms. Double Finger, Mr. 2, and Mr. 4 and his partner, Ms. Merry Christmas," Robin said, caused Luffy to glance at his crew.

"What are the nine of you going to do now?" Luffy asked himself as he looked at his crew with narrowed eyes. Just as the group was approaching Alubarna, Luffy saw the three of them start to slow down before separating from the group and hiding behind some rocks. Luffy immediately stopped his clouds and ordered the clouds to float between the two groups. "Now what do we have here?" Luffy asked himself as he stood up and began to use his true observation.

"Why did the three of them stop?" Robin asked as he stood up as well.

"The three of them are princesses along with Johnny and Yosaku," Luffy said before he turned around and looked at the rest of his crew members who had begun to split into groups, and one by one attracted a pair of Baroque Works agents to follow them. "There are Nami, Nojiko, and Zoro" Luffy said as he pointed at the three ducks heading for the West gate with Mr. 1 and Ms. Double Finger right behind them. "It was Usopp and Chopper," Luffy said as he pointed to the two ducks heading towards the South Gate with Mr. 4 and Ms.. Merry Christmas followed behind them. "And it was Sanji and .. a camel," Luffy added in a flat tone with a drop of sweat sliding across his head, as he pointed at the pair of ducks that ran to the Southwest gate after running past Mr. 2.

"You have a unique crew there" Robin said with a laugh.

"you don't know," Luffy replied before turning his attention back to the princess and the bounty hunter duo. The three of them then peeked out from behind the rock to check if their path was safe. After making sure there was no one around, the three of them went in the direction where the huge cloud of dust was approaching the capital. "So, they're heading straight for the rebel forces" Luffy observed.

So, who are you going to follow? "Robin asked while looking at Luffy." Are you going to observe your crew, or the princess? "Ask Robin causes Luffy to laugh.

"Although I was eager to see what the princess was up to, I thought I was more interested in seeing how much my crew had progressed since entering the Grand Line," Luffy told Robin.

"you know, you're really hard to guess," Robin said, causing Luffy to laugh.

"Don't feel bad" Luffy said with a grin. "Sometimes I have a hard time guessing my own thoughts," Luffy added causing Robin to laugh amusedly, before Luffy narrowed his eyes and looked solemnly. "Let's see if my crew training pays off" Luffy said. "And for their good, I hope so," he added, before the clouds shot towards where Zoro and Nami were.
