Chapter 129

Luffy, Zoro, and Nojiko begin to walk towards their ship to join the rest of the crew, leaving the beach strewn with unconscious soldiers behind them.

When they arrived at the ship, everyone gathered to plan their next move.

"Luffy, is it a good idea to make this person named Enel angry?" Nami asked in a slightly frightened voice.

"Is there anything you're worried about, Nami?" luffy asked as he leaned against the fence of the ship's stairs and looked at his navigator with a curious look on his face.

"I've seen what this man named Enel can do, and his power that scares all Skypiea citizens is really real" Nami replied in a frightened voice.

"He took out a giant pillar of light from the sky and killed a man who was there," Nami added causing Usopp and Chopper to become frightened.

"It sounds the same as what you did before Luffy, when you made the Marine base island disappear while we were in the East Blue" Sanji said, causing Zoro to nod his head,remember what Luffy did.

"It sounds similar, but it also sounds like a weaker version of mine," Luffy replied with a nod, causing Chopper to stare at Luffy with stars in his eyes.

"Luffy you're so cool!" chopper said as he looked at Luffy with a shining star in his eyes, causing Luffy to chuckle and pat the little deer's head lightly.

"Don't worry, Nami," said Luffy as he turned around and looked at Nami. "I won't let anything happen to you guys" he said with a smile, causing the crew to smile as well.

"In addition, this event sounds like it could be a great exercise for all of you Luffy's” adds, causing all the crew to turn pale and the previous smiles to disappear from their faces.

Luffy would continue speaking, but before he could, Conis' voice caught everyone's attention.

"I think I need to tell you all about something" Conis shouted to everyone's attention.

When everyone looked at the source of the voice, they saw Conis standing beside the ship, staring at them with an unreadable expression on his face.

"I know the current of the clouds that will take you straight to the White Sea and from there you can go to the end of the clouds, where after that you can go home safely" Conis added, it shocked everyone, while at the same time causing Luffy and Robin to squint their eyes, feeling suspicious.

"Once you get into that stream, no one will be able to catch up with you" he added.

"That sounds so awesome!" nami is excited. Luffy showed a fake smile on his face before he also spoke to Conis.

"That sounds great, thanks to Conis," Luffy replied with a fake smile as he looked at Conis, which caused some members of his crew to stare at Luffy strangely.

 "By the way before going there we need to stock up on supplies to repair the ship and also food supplies for the trip, do you think you can help us get those things?" Luffy asked with a fake smile still stuck on his face.

"Of course" Conis replied without hesitation.

"Good!" luffy replied happily, causing all of his crew to be a little scared since they had never seen their captain behave like this before.

"OK," Conis replied before starting to walk back to the city. As Conis walked away, Robin spoke to Luffy.

"Captain ...," he called.

"I know," Luffy replied as he turned around and wiped away the fake smile on his face. "He wants to trap us" added Luffy abruptly, surprising the rest of his crew.

"What!?" all the other Luffy crews were screaming.

"Don't be silly, Luffy," Nami said, not wanting to believe that the sweet and innocent girl who had helped them up to this point wanted to trap them. "Conis helped us from the first moment we got to this place. Why does he want to trap us now?" Nami asked while looking at her captain.

"Really! Captain," Nojiko said, agreeing with his sister. "Don't you think you're becoming too paranoid" he added, causing Luffy to raise his eyebrows upon hearing Nojiko.

"I have to say this, Luffy," said Usopp, drawing the attention of his captain. "He's been very kind to us all along. I found it hard to believe that he wanted to trap us," Usopp added, causing Luffy to sigh while in the corner of his eyes he could see Sanji getting ready to support the others.

"Yes! Conis is too pretty to be a bad guy (more precisely ‘nakal’ but let the language come in!)!" the cook shouted as he pointed at Luffy. "However, evil could be better" he added with a perverted laugh that caused Nami and Zoro to hit him.

"Based on the pervert chef," Zoro murmured, causing Luffy to shake his head.

"You guys are too naive," Robin suddenly spoke, causing everyone to look up at her. "When you compare his manner of speaking and his behaviour when he first met us and his interaction with the captain earlier, one can clearly see a big difference in his behaviour earlier" Robin explained, luffy nodded in agreement.

"His words have no emotions like before and you can tell that he feels very nervous to talk to us" Robin continued. "He's obviously lying about directing us to the current he's talking about" Robin said.

"But why would he do that?" Nojiko asked as she looked at Luffy and Robin.

"I guess he didn't do it because he wanted to, but did it because he was told to," Luffy replied as Robin nodded her head, signalling in agreement.

"What do you mean?" Usopp asked.

"Well, let me ask you guys, please" Luffy said before turning around and looking back at Angel Beach. "If your Lord gave you an order, would you refuse it?" Luffy asked, causing some of the crew to understand what he meant.

"anyway, you don't need to think about it," Luffy said with a sigh before turning back towards his crew. "For the time being we will follow their game," added Luffy, causing them to nod.

"So, who's going with Conis?" Zoro asked.

"Sanji and Usopp will come with me" Luffy replied as he looked towards the sniper and his chef.

Both of them nodded before stepping forward. "All of you wait here, and if their Lord decides to attack you protect yourself in any way. I don't care whose blood you have to spill and how much you have to spill, make sure you don't die, Nami, you're in charge until I get back, "luffy said seriously, got a firm nod from all his crew.
