Chapter 121

** Home Cricket **

The crew and the entire Saruyama Alliance are working on repairs for the ship. It had been an hour since Luffy left, and they only had two more hours to get the ship ready to sail.

"Wow, these people have a good job" Nojiko said as she stopped and looked at the monkeys carrying large quantities of wood.

"Yes, they are quite strong" Sanji said with a nod. Before the others could say anything else, a flash struck not too far from where they worked, showing Luffy and Usopp.

"Nluck!" the Straw Hats shouted while stopping what they were doing and ran towards their captain and sniper. Luffy smiled slightly as he watched his crew inspect Usopp. He then turned around and walked towards Cricket and handed him a small bag containing his gold.

"This is your gold, old man" said Luffy, putting the bag on a tree stump. "How's the fix?" Luffy asked

"Everything is on schedule" Cricket replied with a cigarette.

"In that case, there's no reason to procrastinate anymore now" Luffy said before he turned to his crew. "Why are you all still standing !?" Luffy yelled /quired at his crew who were still talking to Usopp. "Start working! We have a schedule we have to keep!" his screams caused all the crew to run back to their duties.

**2 hours later**

After two hours of hard work, the ship was finally finished. Luffy has made the mistake of handing over the development design to Usopp, Masira, and Shoujou. The short version, the three of them made the Going Merry look like a chicken. Luffy hopes none of Shanks' or Whitebeard's crew see him lead in "Going Merry: Flying Mode" as they call him.

"I don't understand why they made him into a chicken" Zoro said as he stood next to Luffy, staring at the new Merry. "Chicken can't even fly. They should have made him a pigeon" Zoro said, causing Luffy's eyebrows to twitch.

"Alright, enough!" Luffy yelling caught everyone's attention. "Take the South Bird and get ready to sail!" Luffy shouted, causing his crew to nod and start walking towards the ship.

Luffy walked towards Cricket and stood in front of him before he spoke again. "Thank you for repairing our ship, old man" Luffy said.

"Don't thank me" he said, smoking a cigarette. "Thank you to them" Cricket said, pointing to Masira and Shoujou on their respective ships. Luffy then took a few steps towards them before he spoke again.

"Thank you guys!" Luffy shouted at them.

"No problem, Straw hat!" Masira shouted back.

"True, no problem at all!" Shoujou also shouted. Luffy only smiled before he teleported to his ship.

"Is everything ready?" Luffy asked his crew while standing on the upper deck with Nami beside him.

"Aye, captain!" answer them.

"Good, then raise the anchor!" Luffy shouted, causing Zoro to walk to the front of the ship and immediately pull the Anchor.

"You just follow us" Masira said as their ship stopped beside the Going Merry. Luffy nodded his head before he turned around and nodded at Nojiko, hinting him to take the wheel.

The Going Merry then pushed off the edge of the island and began sailing south, with the ships Masira and Shoujou on either side of them.

"OK, now at 7 am, we should arrive at our destination no later than 11 pm. Cricket has already told us that the location of Knock Up Stream can change at any time. We need to get there as quickly as possible to pinpoint the exact location! " Masira shouted from his ship towards Luffy's ship.

"We understand!" Luffy replied before walking to the back deck and sitting on his throne. "If everything goes according to plan then we should arrive as scheduled" Luffy added, sitting down and pouring whiskey for himself.

Everyone relaxed for the next three hours as there was nothing else they could do. However it all stopped when a member of Masira's crew shouted in panic, making everyone stop their leisurely activities.

"Boss! Cumuloregalis has appeared in the Southwest!" the crew shouted, causing Luffy to stand up and walk to the side from his throne. It was there that Luffy saw a dark cloud that was quite large and some distance away.

"What time is this!?" Masira yells/quires.

"It's only 10 o'clock! An hour early!" said the man in panic. Now all the straw hat crews are coming together to see what's going on.

"What is Cumuloregalis?" Nami asked, where Luffy replied by nodding his head.

"Right, the cloud appeared too early," Luffy replied before he turned to Masira and spoke. "Do you think we can make it !?" Luffy asked.

"I don't know," Masira replied before she looked towards Shoujou. "Shoujou, do you think we can make it?" Masira asked. Shoujou did not reply, instead, he shouted orders to his crew.

"Send the divers!" shoujou shouted, which caused three men in diving suits to rush to the side of the ship, getting ready to plunge into the water. "Find that stream!" shoujou orders before those people start diving into the water.

A few seconds later Shoujou used his microphone and let out one of his sonar screams. A minute later, the three divers showed up and shouted their findings.

"Sonar waves detected! There's a big current at 12 o'clock!" Diver #1 said.

"There is wave activity detected at 10 o'clock against the current! I believe it's a giant whirlpool, sir!" diver #3 said. At this time Luffy was very impressed with their skills.

"That's it! Go to 10 o'clock!" Shouted Masira. "That's where the Knock Up-Stream will erupt. I'm sure!" masira added, causing Nami and Nojiko to adjust the ship's path.As they sailed towards the direction where the prediction of Knock Up-Stream occurred, the waves started to get bigger and bigger, and bigger, get everyone to hold on to something.

"Preserve the rudder of the ship!" luffy shouted while attaching himself to the deck of the ship with lightning.

"This is the vibration before the eruption!" Masira pointed before the clamps from both his ships and Shoujou darted out and locked the Going Merry. "We will take you to the outer edge of the whirlpool! Position your ship according to the flow of water and the cleavage towards the middle! If you succeed then you'll be fine" he said, causing Luffy to nod his head.

When the Going Merry came out from the giant waves, a whirlpool began to be seen, and it was a huge vortex. When they were on the outer side of the whirlpool, the tongs of the Saruyama Alliance ship came loose, then the two ships began to move away from the vortex with both captains and their crew waving on to Straw Hat.

"All right, get us in!" Luffy shouted causing everyone to look at him as if he was crazy. "What?" Luffy asked after seeing how all the crew looked at him. They all just sweat before Nojiko starts adjusting the rudder and steers the ship to the center of the giant whirlpool.

"Come, Luffy!" Usopp said with a frightened expression on his face. "It's not too late to go back" Usopp said, causing Luffy to grin.

"Alright then," said Luffy causing them all to fall silent and look at him. "I mean, I just have to tell Rich how the greatest captain Usopp gave up and ran away in fear" Luffy added, grinning and seeing Usopp instantly speechless.

"You heard Captain! Get us in!" Usopp shouted as he pointed towards the whirlpool, causing everyone to laugh. When the ship hit the waves of the whirlpool, their ship floated in the air and fell straight towards the middle.

After flying down for a few seconds, they suddenly landed in calm water, as if a gigantic whirlpool and a turbulent sea had never happened.

"What happened to that whirlpool?" Zoro asked while looking around. That was when Luffy felt a small tremor at the bottom of his foot.

"Everything, hold on to something! That vortex could explode at any moment now!" Luffy shouted as he walked forward and held onto the deck fence. Everyone started to scatter around looking for something they could hold onto.

Moments later, Suddenly the ship was lifted into the air by the water beneath it. The sea beneath them looked like a giant bubble ready to burst. After being lifted in the air for a few seconds, it finally erupted sending a powerful stream of pressurized water straight towards the sky.

after being shaken for a few seconds, the crew realized their position and realized that the Going Merry was riding on an enormous water pillar.

"It's amazing!" Chopper shouted in excitement.

"How do we do this !?" Usopp shouted /question.

"We're going to Skypiea!" Shouting Chopper.

"I don't think it's going to be that easy" Sanji said, drawing all their attention. "The hull is starting to drift and if we don't stop it, we're going to fall back into the sea" he said as the front of the ship began to rise into the air.

"Young, Ms. Navigator," call Luffy while grinning as he looks at Nami. "What should we do?" Luffy asked calmly.

"Deplease screen! And catch the right stream!" Nami replied, causing Luffy to smile.

"You heard him! Release screen!" Luffy shouted, causing Zoro and Sanji to immediately release them. "Nojiko! Catch that current!" Luffy added. Soon the sails caught the wind, and the ship began to rise from the water waves.

"We're still moving away from the water!" Chopper screams in panic.

"Relax, that's what's supposed to happen!" luffy said, making everyone feel calm. The ship then fully lifted off the water pillar and began flying towards the clouds.

"We're flying!" Shouted Usopp and Chopper in amazement. Luffy just grinned while standing in front of the door of his private room, staring at the sky.

"As long as the wind keeps blowing, we can sail as high as we want!" nami said with a big smile on her face.

"I told you!" luffy said while looking at Nami. "This ocean defies all logic" Luffy added as they continued to fly into the sky.

"Are we close to Skypiea?" Robin asked as he looked at Luffy.

"No," Luffy replied with a smile. "But we're close to the White Sea!" Luffy shouted for all his crew to hear.

"What's that place?" Nojiko asked from inside the kitchen where the rudder of the ship was.

"You'll see it for yourself" Luffy replied before turning his attention back to the front. After flying upward for a few minutes, the ship finally entered a thick cloud.The crew except Luffy had to protect their eyes from the strong winds and water vapor that hit their faces.

Shortly after, the Going Merry broke through the thick clouds, as the ship broke through the clouds, the wings Cricket had mounted and the others were crushed when it landed in what looked like an ocean. Everyone except Luffy was lying on the floor gasping.

"Are we dead?" Nami asked while lying down with her body soaked.

"Welcome! In the White Sea!" luffy said loudly as he spread his hand out.
