Chapter 112's

The Straw Hats stayed on the tropical island for two weeks. They had undergone a hardcore training program with Luffy. An island that two weeks ago looked beautiful, now it looks like an empty land.

There is a lot of smoke billowing from different parts of the island and the once beautiful tropical forests are now just piles of ash. The straw hats have completely destroyed the island in the past two weeks, but if you ask Luffy, he will say that it is all worth it.

The two-week training yielded good results for the crew. He could now tell that everyone in his crew had been able to use observation and armament haki, but only a few of them could control it.

Zoro, Sanji, and Nojiko are now aware that they have the haki armament and can use it within a certain limit. Sometimes they can indeed use haki at any time when they want and sometimes can not go out at all. Zoro and Nojiko seem to be more dominant in using Armament than Observation haki, while Sanji seems to be more dominant in observation.

Sanji is quite disappointed when Luffy tells him that he seems to be more talented with Observation Haki, but Luffy reminds him that he can still learn both.

Chopper also shows signs that Armament will be his specialty along with Robin, while Usopp and Nami seem to be more dominant in Observation haki.

It was too early for Luffy to know how they would use the predetermined type of haki, but they were on the right track. Everyone was currently standing on the main deck of the ship, staring at the destruction they would leave behind.

"Geez, I can't believe that this place used to be a beautiful island two weeks ago" Nami said as she looked at the smoky island.

"This island will fix itself" Luffy said as he stared at the island. "Nature always finds its way" he added.

"Captain is right" Robin said with a nod. "The ash will rejuvenate the land and the beauty will return better than ever before" he added.

"Anyway" said Luffy, turning to leave. "Raise the anchor and remove the screen. It's time for us to continue on the journey" added Luffy, causing them all to nod before they began to split up on the ship. As the ship began sailing in the canal and away from the island, Luffy sat on his throne and poured him a glass of whiskey before chugging it and sighing in relief.

As soon as the ship started sailing smoothly, the entire crew spread around the ship. Zoro and Nojiko were practicing alone in front of the ship, Nami was inside her room drawing a map of the island where they had been before, Sanji was in the kitchen taking down some of the supplies they had gathered from the island before they destroyed it. Usopp sat behind Luffy making some explosives, while Chopper and Robin were on the main deck relaxing reading books. Luffy found the relationship between Robin and Chopper very amusing, especially when Robin first tried to talk to the little deer doctor. It took Chopper some time to get along with Robin, but once they got along, the two were inseparable.

"Hopefully there are no more obstacles after from here" said Luffy, turning his throne into a beach chair and putting his straw hat on his face. "Nami! You're in charge!" luffy shouted while closing his eyes. Nami, who was inside the room came out to see why her captain was pointing at her. When Nami went to the back deck, she saw Luffy lying on a beach chair made of clouds with his hat covering his face.

"Aye," Nami said with a smile and then checked the pose log on her wrist.

** The Moby **** **

The Moby***, the flagship of the world's strongest man Edward Newgate, or better known as Whitebeard. Whitebeard was currently sitting on his rather large throne with a barrel of sake in his hand and various medical equipment stuck to his body. His crew was scattered around the giant ship, but most of them surrounded where he sat.

"Oi'm Pops!" there was the cry of someone walking towards the giant human.

"Marco, you're back" Whitebeard said as he looked at the second commander of his ship who was walking towards him holding two newspapers. "Did you get everything?" Whitebeard asked.

"Yes, we have it all" Marco replied with a nod. "Have you been reading the papers for the past two weeks?" Marco asked while looking at his captain.

"No, News Coo hasn't come here yet" Whitebeard replied before he narrowed his eyes and looked towards Marco. "What's wrong?" She asked.

"It's strange considering some of the news that shocked the world happened over the past two weeks" Marco said, drawing the attention of the entire crew. "This, look at yourself" Marco said, handing over the two papers. Whitebeard put down his pocket berel and grabbed the two papers before he started reading. The first newspaper was about Luffy defeating Crocodile and the interview he did right after that.

"That boy is causing trouble" Whitebeard said with a laugh.

"Wait until you see the second paper" Marco said with a grin. The old man put down the first newspaper after reading it and then picked up the second newspaper, but his eyes immediately widened upon seeing the headlines in the newspaper.

"What the two boys are planning" Whitebeard told himself.

"What's Pops?" Ask the crew wrong.

"Akagami and Luffy formed an alliance," Marco replied, letting his captain continue reading. The older crew members like the commanders were shocked when they heard that, while the newer members looked puzzled.

"What's so bad about that?" one of them asked, causing Marco to chuckle.

"If you knew Luffy, you'd know that he could match one of the four Yonkou in terms of strength" Marco said. "This alliance is essentially an alliance between the two Yonkou" he added.

"It is said here that Shanks called him equal" Whitebeard said, causing Marco to nod.

"True, that's what makes everyone panic" Marco said with a sigh. "A lot of people in the government feel uneasy about this alliance," Marco added with a hint of worry on his face.

"Yes, both are in paradise" replied Marco.

** Toto Land **

"Mama! Big news!" chanted Mont-d'Or as he ran to the main room with two newspapers in his hand.

"Why are you yelling !?" Big Mom asked as she looked at her son. Inside the room with Big Mom are three Sweet Comanders, the first son of the Big Mom Pirates, Perospero, and the eighth daughter of the Charlotte Family, Brulee.

"Yes, please stop yelling" said Sweet Comander's only woman, Smoothie.

"That's interesting news" Katakuri said coldly, making everyone look at her.

"Can you stop that!" the last Sweet Comander shouted, Snack.

"You're all quiet" Big Mom said, shutting everyone's mouth. "What news gets you so excited?" Big Mom asked while looking at Mont-d'Or.

"It's about Red Hair," he replied, drawing everyone's attention. "He's forming an alliance" he added, surprising everyone.

"He did what !?" yelled Big Mom. "Who!?" he screamed again.

"D-with Rookie pirates," said Mont-d'Or in a frightened voice. "Thunder Demon, Straw Hat Luffy" he added.

"Give me that!" Big Mom said then took the newspaper from her. “I used to invite the boy to join but he rejected me, and now he dares to join others" Big Mom said angrily as she read the paper.

"You're asking Straw Hat Luffy to join our crew?" Perospero asked while looking at his mother.

"Not that Rookie!" Big Mom shouted. "I was talking about Shanks" he added before continuing to read the paper. "After all, who's this rookie?" Big Mom asked.

"It appears he's a student of Red Hair" Smoothie said. He had heard stories about the new Rookie causing trouble in Paradise, but he never expected that he would cause this much trouble.

"There are some rumors circulating that Marine sent Buster Call to kill this Rookie after news of the alliance emerged" Mont-d'Or said, looking across his siblings.

"And?" snack asked as he looked at Mont-d'Or waiting for him to continue.

"Ten Marine warships were destroyed by Luffy's straw hat" he replied. If anyone in the room was surprised by the information, none of them showed it.

"A Equivalent to her?" Big Mom said to herself as she read the newspaper.

"True, there Shanks called Rookie his equal" Mont-d'Or said, causing a startled reaction to spread throughout the room.

"It was a shocking .." said Smoothie.

"Momamama!" Big Mom laughed as she folded the newspaper. "Tell me when this boy enters the New World. I'll welcome him with great joy!" big Mom said with a sadistic look on her face, making no one there to tell her that Luffy had lived in New World before.

** Wano Country **

"Mr Kaido! Lord Kaido!" Shouted a member of the Beast Pirates while running down the hallways of Kaido's house in Onigationma.

"Why are you yelling?" ask the male voice from his right. When the pirate turned his head, he saw two men sitting beside the wooden table, staring at him. "Master-King! Lord Queen!" said the man while looking at the two kaido commanders. "Where is Lord Kaido? There is big news" he said as he ran towards them and handed them a newspaper.

"Let's see" King said, taking the paper and reading the contents. "The captain is drunk, and it's none of our business" King said as he threw the newspaper on the table.

"That's fast" Queen said as she picked up the newspaper to see what was inside. When he saw the headlines, he also threw them away. "I agree, it's none of our business" he said, nodding.

"When the captain is conscious, we will tell him" King told the low-ranking member of the Beast Pirates.
