Thunder Demon Luffy's
Chapter 2's
"W-What are you doing boy!?" the bandit leader shouted as he asked Luffy. Luffy himself looked shocked and confused about what had just happened.
'Mistake no mistake, it was Conqueror Haki' Thought Benn Beckman who then made eye contact with his captain who was also nodding his head towards him.
Before anyone could react, the leader of the Mountain Bandit took out his sword and slashed it towards Luffy while shouting out with all his might.
"I'll kill you, boy!" he shouted as the sword began to fall towards Luffy.shanks who was still on the floor could not react fast enough that even though he tried to block it, he fell silent because of what then happened.
the sword managed to cut Luffy's body from his shoulder to his chest, but then stopped when an electric spark came out of Luffy's body and then electrocuted the bandit leader.
The sword slipped from Luffy's chest as the bandit leader fell to the floor. everything in the bar looked towards Luffy as the cut wounds that appeared from his shoulder to his chest slowly began to close on their own along with the electricity that appeared in each Slit wound.
no one said anything, they all looked towards the 7-year-old.everyone stopped looking at Luffy when they heard Shanks' voice.
"Luffy! Did you eat the fruit in that box?" shanks asked, which was answered with a nod by Luffy. Shanks tried to hold Luffy on his shoulder but his hand instead pierced through Luffy's body and he was hit by a severe stun.
Shanks quickly pulled his hand back. He then looked towards Luffy and said. "Luffy you just ate a goro-goro no Mi, a Devil Fruit. Eating one of them will take away your ability to swim a Lifetime, but what you just ate was a Devil Fruit logia, which means you can turn your body into lightning and become Lightning itself!" shanks Shouts.
In Luffy's eyes however the stars appeared from hearing that he could turn into lightning.
"Does this mean I can come with you now?" asked Luffy in hope. Shanks went to his seat, then followed by his first mate, who then signaled to makino to get close to them, they then whispered so that Luffy could not hear what they were talking about.
"Captain, he just ate a Devil Fruit type of logia and it's a pretty strong breed" said Benn beckman, "Added again with Conqueror Haki, who was the first of his kind, If he doesn't train how to control his power he can hurt others." Ben beckman brings out what he has in mind, while shanks looks serious and makino looks worried.
"Will he be okay?" asked the worried makino, shanks looked at him And Smiled, then he said.
"She's fine, don't worry." The three of them stopped whispering when they heard the screams from Luffy.
"Hey! stop whispering I can't hear what you're talking about!" Shouted Luffy, who made them separate themselves. Luffy then looked towards Shanks and asked, "so can I come with you shanks?" asked Luffy again, making the shanks look at him and ask.
"I'll decide if you answer my 2 questions. Okay?" said shanks, which Luffy then answered using a nod of the head.
"First question, do you know what you used to make these bandits faint?" shanks asked, leaving everyone inside the bar speechless, waiting for Luffy's reply.
"No, I don't know what I'm doing. It usually only happens when grandfather is training me." Luffy said, where shanks only nodded his head with his eyes closed, which then instantly opened in shock.
"You mean you've used it before today?" he asked in a surprised tone.and Luffy simply nodded.
"Yes, when I fought some monkeys that my grandfather found to help me practice" Luffy casually said as if it was nothing, others looked at Luffy with widened eyes except for macino.
'Who trained a 7-year-old boy to fight with a monkey as part of the exercise?' all the pirates think like this. Shanks then looked towards makino and asked him.
"Who's Luffy's grandfather?" Ask shanks who then answered makino with eyes that look ignorant.
"Monkey D Garp" said makino, who made the entire pirate bar freeze and look at the makino with his eyes wide open.
"You mean Garp "the fist" is his grandfather?!" shanks shouted, making makino laugh amusedly followed by a nod of his head. Shanks began to calm himself down then set his gaze to Luffy who was currently snacking to make everyone sweat in wonder (sweatdrop).
"Okay Luffy's second question." said Shanks, who received Luffy's attention, "What's your dream?" shanks asked, to which Luffy answered with a big smile on his face and he started to stand on his seat and started shouting loudly.
"And why do you want to be the pirate king?" ask shanks.
"Because the pirate king is the freest man in the world!" luffy said to everyone's surprise, "Just wait for me to become the greatest adventurer and find One Piece and become the pirate king!" luffy replied with a strong determination that sounded in his voice, making everyone inside the bar smile and shanks look at the silhouette of his old Captain Gol D Roger behind Luffy.
"Alright Luffy," said shanks, who brought Luffy's attention back to him. "Welcome to the Crew!" said shanks, who made the rest of the crew scream happy and Luffy cried happily.
A week has passed since the shanks agreed to take Luffy with them, right now the whole village is in the harbor to say goodbye to Luffy and the pirates.
previously Major Woop slap disagreed if Luffy went with the pirates, but after Ben and Shanks explained how dangerous it would be if Luffy did not learn how to control his powers, Major finally understood and agreed, but he wanted makino to tell Garp this question when he returned to this village.
another thing that happened was when the shanks sent one of his crew who did not have a Bounty to swap the head of the Mountain Bandit boss to the nearby Marine, and gave the money to Luffy. Luffy who was currently on board the shanks of 'The Red Force' was Waving his hands at the villagers while shouting.
"Makino bye! I'll be back before I do I'm looking for my own crew." He shouted along with the ship that had gradually moved away from the island.When the Island was out of sight, the shanks gave orders to all his crew.
Well our friends don't need to stop anymore, we have enough supplies to last during our journey to the Grand Line
"Aye Captain!" everyone answered, shanks then looked towards Luffy who was looking around with a wide smile on his face, making Shanks laugh amusedly.
"Luffy!" shanks shouted that caught Luffy's attention, "follow me." he said as he walked towards what looked like the crew's bedroom, "This is the place where you're going to sleep," shanks said as he pointed to the room with 1 bed, table, and cupboard inside.
It was not a big room but it was big enough for one adult. Luffy looked around and noticed his things were already there waiting. He stepped in and smiled.
"I love it," said Luffy causing Shanks to smile.
"OK, Luffy let me tell you how things will happen once we enter the Grand Line," Shanks said getting Luffy's attention. Luffy also noticed that Benn, Roo, and Yasopp were standing near the entrance.
"The first thing that will happen is that Lucky Roo will teach you how to control your devil fruit, then every morning Benn will teach you navigation and history, coupled with battle strategy, and then every morning Benn will teach you navigation and history, and anything related to that is about three hours every day. The remaining time in the day was spent with me teaching you Haki or with Yasopp to teach you how to shoot. Whatever time you have left you will use it to practice mastering your demonic fruit power, or you can do it after mastering Haki or after being able to shoot with precision. Understood it? " ask Shanks, who was replied with a nod from Luffy and then spoke.
"Yep, now I have one question." Shanks nodded signaling for Luffy to continue his question, "Do you have any meat?" he said the four of them fell to the floor.
After Shanks explained everything to Luffy again to make sure he understood, he began explaining to Luffy what Haki was and how it might be useful in battle.
When I said Luffy was interested when I heard the explanation from Shanks, it was very wrong. Because Luffy kept begging Shanks over and over again to immediately start his practice until Shanks finally gave up and started teaching his Haki Observation.
It had been three days since the crew left Dawn Island and the entrance to the Grand Line had been seen. Luffy was excited to imagine what it would be like to sail up a mountain. When the ship began to climb the mountain and its summit became visible Luffy ran to the front of the ship and began climbing to stand on the statue in front of the ship.
Everyone who saw this started to get scared when Luffy finally stood on top of the statue. When the ship reached the top and started descending to the Grand Line Luffy stretched out his hand and shouted into the sky.
"I'LL BE THE PIRATE KING!" Luffy shouted causing everyone on the ship to smile with determination at the seven-year-old.
