Chapter 6 Shells Town

At the moment Luffy and Koby are flying right over the sea, and Koby is sitting on the artificial cloud Luffy. Luffy sat on his throne while Koby sat on the small chair Luffy had made for him.

Following behind Luffy's clouds is Alvida who was captured and is now in a separate cloud that Luffy called to carry him. They are currently heading to Shell City to cash in on the bounty on Alvida's head and also take Koby there to join the marine.

Although Koby wants to be marine, Luffy can honestly say he likes the boy. Koby has a good sense of justice and even though he is a bit cowardly and naive, by giving proper training he will be a good marine, and Luffy knows the right person to turn her into a marine like that.

Luffy could not help but laugh at the thought of how the man would train Koby. Luffy was out of his mind by Koby's voice.

"Wow! I still can't believe I'm sitting on a cloud!" Koby said happily as he moved his hands on the surface of the clouds. Luffy laughed at her behavior before he spoke.

"Yes, because these are the clouds, so these clouds are denser compared to the usual clouds that can be found on one of the Sky islands," luffy's words made Koby turn his head and look at Luffy with eyes the size of a dinner plate.

"You mean that Sky Island really exists?" Koby asked in a surprised voice.

"Yup, even there's a sea of clouds where you can sail on your boat" Luffy said, making Koby even more surprised. "However, I don't know if in East Blue there are such clouds or not, but I know for sure that they are on the Grand Line." Luffy finished his words with a smile.

"Wow!" that's all Koby can say. Luffy laughed at Koby's reaction before his face turned serious as he spoke to Koby.

"Hey, Koby," said Luffy to Koby's attention, "Alvida mentioned Roronoa Zoro's name before and I was curious, who is he?" Luffy asked causing Koby to turn pale.

"He was a great pirate hunter. He was the one who slashed his hunting bounty like cutting an animal in a slaughterhouse, he was a bloodthirsty savage beast. He is referred to as a demon who breathes in human form." Luffy could not help his astonishment upon hearing the description.

"Lately I heard he was arrested and held at a marine base in Shell City," Koby said causing Luffy to smile. When Koby saw his smile, he instantly became pale, pale,

"Please don't tell me you're thinking about doing what I think!" Shouted Koby but Luffy only chuckled and did not reply, making Koby even more afraid. The two and Alvida, who were unconscious, traveled for about five more minutes before finally reaching the marine base town.

Luffy and Koby descend from the clouds before Luffy sends him into the sky to standby and call him back when Luffy needs to. The clouds carrying Alvida followed behind Luffy and Koby as they walked through the city, making them look oddly out of the civilian population there.

"Luffy seriously, you're not in your right mind if you think that it's the right thing to ask that person to join you" said the terrified Koby. Luffy continued to stare expressionlessly at his face as he spoke.

"I never said he'd join my crew. I said MAYBE he could join," said Luffy when he stopped by one of the local merchants who sold apples and took one and bit it before giving the seller a coin to buy.

He then looked at the person selling the apple and asked, "Are they really holding the Zoro guy here?" Luffy asked. The moment the name Zoro came out of his mouth, everyone who was close enough to hear Luffy's question jumped back with a horrified face.

"I'll take that as a yes," Luffy said before walking away with Koby behind him.

"Maybe we should not mention Zoro's name here," Koby said in a low voice as he whispered to Luffy.

"Let's go straight to the base. You said you wanted to be marine, right?" luffy asked as they continued walking towards the marine base.

"Yes, of course Luffy, but I don't feel ready yet. From what I've heard, the man in charge of this base is Captain Morgan," Koby said. Similar to the reaction when the name Zoro was called, everyone who was within range to hear the name Morgan jumped back and looked in horror at them.

Luffy narrowed his eyes looking at this behavior before thinking in himself.

'It looks like this is one of those 'SORT' Marine bases.' Luffy thought to himself. He turned to Koby to look at his puzzled face. He then looked at Luffy and started talking.

"That's weird. I mean, I can understand they're afraid of Zoro and all that, but why are they also afraid of a marine captain?" Ask Koby. Luffy's face then took a more sympathetic look as he looked at Koby before he spoke.

"You'll understand that in the world we live in, you can't trust all the information that people say. You should try to see the world with your own eyes and deduce it yourself. In my experience and from what I've seen, not all pirates are bad and not all marines are good" Lufy said, scoffed at Koby who seemed unwilling to believe what he had just said until Luffy spoke again.

"Remember Koby, power can make good people bad." added Luffy, letting Koby think about what he just said.
