Chapter 18's

Luffy and the others looked forward and saw a small shadow of something Luffy believed to be their destination restaurant.

"Ah, it turns out you guys are going to Baratie," said Johnny getting all their attention.

"Have you been there?" nami and Johnny asked.

"Yes, I've been there before" he said. "The food there is delicious. But lately I have heard rumors about an eagle-eyed man appearing there" he said, looking at Zoro. As Luffy and Zoro heard what he said, the two smiled slightly, however, Luffy's smile was less noticeable compared to Zoro's.

When the ship was about fifty feet away from the restaurant, Luffy and the crew were startled by a loud trumpet and the sound of a bell appeared from the right side of the ship. Everyone looked towards the sound and saw a Marine ship appearing beside them, causing all their eyes to widen at the fact that the marines slipped towards them so easily.

Luffy got up from his throne and walked towards the main deck of the ship before he jumped on one of the fences and stood there staring at the marine with Zoro by his side.

"I've never seen that pirate flag before" said a pink-haired marine as he walked to the edge of the ship. "I'm Ironfist Fullbody, but you can call me Master" the marine said as he looked at Luffy. Luffy knew that he was one of the marines who was too arrogant for his own good.

"I don't remember ever asking who you are" Luffy said in an emotionless tone. Fullbody was obviously annoyed by Luffy's comments, so he clenched his fists and smacked it into one of the fences of the ocean liner before he yelled at Luffy.

"You think you're who the snot boy is?" tanya/sway Fullbody.

"Me?" Luffy asked as he pointed to himself, "I'm Monkey D. Luffy, captain of this ship," he said.

"Why don't I recognize your flag?" ask Fullbody. Luffy looked at him as if he was an idiot before he replied.

"Hmm, maybe because I just made it yesterday" Luffy said. When Luffy said that he saw Fullbody's smiling face grinning before he started laughing.

"really?" he asked in a condescending tone. The full body would talk again but something caught his attention. He looked towards the main cabin of Luffy's ship and saw two men hiding there.

Luffy looked up to see what Fullbody saw and saw Johnny and Yosaku peering out the door. "Both of you" he said, staring at Johnny and Yosaku.

"You Bounty hunter duo are after small bounties, right" Fullbody said mockingly. A beautiful woman in a red dress then walked out from behind Fullbody and spoke to him.

"Let's go, baby, let's go" the woman said as she clung to Fullbody's arm. Fullbody looked at him and nodded before turning to Luffy and the crew, then he started walking away. As he walked away, Johnny jumped out and pulled out a stack of wanted posters and threw them into the air and screamed.

"Do you think a small-time Bounty hunter will go after these people!" his screams as wanted posters are scattered all over the ship. Fullbody did not care about Johnny, instead, Fullbody looked at his subordinates and gave the order before leaving the ship.

"They're ruining the scene, drowning them" he said before leaving. When he said that, his subordinate marines pointed one of their cannons towards Luffy which caused him to narrow his eyes.

"They pointed the cannon right at us!" Usopp Shouts. Luffy raised his hand silencing Usopp before he spoke.

"Relax, I'll handle it" she said, which caused everyone except Nami to look at her to see what she was going to do. Without any warning, the marines fired cannons directly at Luffy.

"Now, that's not good" Luffy said in a tone that made the marine want to wet the bed. Luffy then pulled his arm back and enveloped the cannonball with electricity causing a blue spark to be seen around the cannonball.

He then threw the cannonball at lightning speed towards the main mast of the Marine ship. The cannonball then collided with the main mast and exploded destroying the mast and most of the deck, and also making a group of marines bounce off.

Johnny and Yosaku stared at the scene with their mouths wide open. They've never seen anything like it before. They had heard the stories of people with the devil fruit and the things they could do, but they had never really seen someone with that fruit.

Fullbody who was already in a small canoe with a woman in red and two marines quickly ordered the two marines to turn over the canoe after they heard an explosion on their ship.

Luffy jumped off the fence and turned to face his men. He will talk but Johnny speaks before he even has a chance.

"Wow, Luffy aniki," he said as Yosaku stared at Luffy. "You could destroy a Marine ship with one strike" he said, causing Luffy to turn and look at the burning ocean liner and speak.

"They're lucky I didn't completely destroy the damn ship" he said, causing their eyes to widen. Luffy then turned back to his crew and spoke.

"I'm hungry, let's eat" he said as he formed a small boat from a cloud of lightning to fly everyone to the restaurant. When everyone climbs into the small cloud Luffy sees Nami staring at the wanted poster in his hand which causes Luffy to squint his eyes at Nami.

'What exactly are you hiding, ' Luffy thought to himself before he turned around and jumped into the clouds. When Luffy jumped up, a few seconds later, Nami joined them with a fake smile on her face, which Luffy could clearly see. Luffy bowed towards Zoro who was sitting next to him and whispered in his ear.

"Observate Nami to me," he said causing Zoro to look at her strangely before nodding and narrowing his eyes at Nami. When the crew reached the door of the restaurant, they jumped from the clouds and Luffy pushed the two large doors open.

When the door opened, everyone in the restaurant stopped what they were doing and turned to look at Luffy and his crew. It is clear that they are pirates, and it is even more clear who their captain is based on how Luffy dresses.

Luffy noticed some of the women in the restaurant were staring at him with a small hue on their faces. Luffy saw a man walking up to them holding a silver plate.

He was a muscular man with a lot of hair on his arms and legs wearing a short-sleeved blue shirt with yellow buttons on both sides, and light blue on the ends of his arms.

He wears knee-length shorts that are the same color as his shirt, along with brown shoes. He also wore a white apron, a pink ascot, earrings in his right ear, and a white rope tied around his head.

"Hello and welcome to Baratie" he said with a smile on his face that was clearly fake. "May I ask how you're going to pay for your food?" he asked causing Luffy to laugh before replying.

"Of course with the money," she replied causing Patty's fake smile to be replaced with a real smile before she spoke again.

"Then, allow me to show you to your table," he said before leading Luffy and the crew towards an empty table. "Your servant will be coming soon to take your order," he said as he handed out a menu.

Luffy nodded as a sign of understanding before taking a look at the menu. Five minutes later a blond man wearing a black suit came to the table and spoke.

"Hello, my name is Sanji. I'm a sous chef here but will act as your servant for today" he said with a cigarette in his mouth.
