Chapter 8's

* Timeskip: 2 hours later *

Zoro was staring at the clouds drifting slowly over the sky, when suddenly there was no wind and rain, Zoro saw lightning lightning coming towards him. His eyes widened and he began to try to break away from the rope. Then the lightning bolt struck the same spot that happened two hours ago.

"And people say lightning won't strike in the same place twice." Zoro thought jokingly to himself as he looked up to see the same man before standing there with the same emotionless expression on his face, but this time Zoro realized something different about the man.

He did not know what was different, he had the same straw hat on his head, the same captain's coat, the same sword on his side, and also the same gun. Everything was the same, with an emotionless look on his face, but Zoro could see something different from the man's eyes.

Previously his eyes had no emotions at all, they were the cold eyes of a man who would kill you without a second thought, but now, his eyes were filled with anger.

Zoro doesn't know what scares him more, whether this guy's mindset, where he can kill anyone without thinking twice or imagining this mysterious man being angry. Zoro decided to swallow his fear and spoke.

"You again, what do you want?" Zoro asked. Luffy started walking forward until he stood just a few meters away from Zoro before he spoke.

"I have an offer for you." Luffy said to Zoro's surprise, "That idiot blonde never planned to follow the deal you made. He'll execute you tomorrow." Luffy's words caused Zoro's eyes to widen before he started thrashing and shouting.

"How dare that bastard boy!" Zoro. "When I catch him, I'll make him wish his father took his seeds out the toilet like he should!" Zoro said causing Luffy to laugh before speaking.

"And how are you gonna do all that when you're still tied up." Luffy said with a smirk on his face before continuing, "By the way, when I heard he was going to execute you tomorrow, I managed to break a few of his teeth. So, there's a great chance that your execution will be advanced for today. " Luffy's words caused Zoro's eyes to widen even bigger.

"Let me go so I can kick that bastard!" his screams caused Luffy to laugh again.

"With my offer in, I can let you go and let you live, but you must join my crew," Luffy said causing Zoro to calm down a little before speaking.

"Kru what?" Zoro asked.

"I'm gathering a pirate crew and I'm looking for people to join. So, what's your answer?" Luffy asked. Zoro was silent for a minute before replying.

"Listen, that idiot boy took my sword, if you can get it back I will join your crew," Zoro said causing Luffy to smile before turning his body into lightning and teleporting.

On the roof of the sea base, every marine soldier on the base can be seen lifting a giant statue of Captain Morgan made of stone. Standing beside seeing his men working was the captain in charge of the Marine base of this island, 'Axe-Hand' Morgan.

Morgan was a very tall and muscular man, an intimidating appearance with blonde hair and steel jaws. His right hand was replaced by a large steel axe, the axe's grip that seemed to pierce through his lower arm.

He was wearing a large coat that expanded like a robe. The one lying on the floor behind Morgan, crying was his son, Helmeppo.

Then when everyone thought nothing would happen, suddenly standing at the place where the lightning struck earlier was Luffy who was staring at everyone.

"What kind of ugly thing am I stepping on right now?" Luffy asked as he began to inspect the statue before he spoke again, "I'm sure no one would like to see an ugly statue like this." he said as he raised his right leg and coated it with Armament Haki.

Luffy then stomped his feet at the statue, causing every marine who was there to start sweating in fear.

At first, the statue seemed okay, making some marines release a sigh of relief, but after five seconds the entire statue suddenly shattered into pieces. Morgan trembled in anger before shouting.

"KILL HIM!" he screamed and every marine started to pick up their weapons. When everyone saw where Luffy was standing, they saw that he was gone and was now standing by the door with Helmeppo.

"I want you to show me where Zoro's sword is," said Luffy as he began to walk through the door with Helmeppo he dragged behind. Luffy calmly walked through the hall of the marine base as if he had no problems in the world. "Where is Zoro's sword?" Luffy asked Helmeppo.

"They're in my room. The door is on your left." Helmeppo. As they stood in front of the door, Luffy kicked it open before throwing Helmeppo inside.

Luffy then sent a wave of Conquorer Haki towards Helmeppo knocking him unconscious. Luffy looked around the room and realized the room was very feminine.

The walls are pink, the furniture is pink with flowers on it, everything in this room looks like a girl's room.

Luffy thought Helmeppo was lying to him and led him into the wrong room, However, when Luffy saw the three swords leaning against the wall, he knew he was in the right place.

Luffy grabbed the sword and looked out the window for something that made his eyes widen. Standing in the courtyard where Zoro was tied up was a very frightened Koby surrounded by the marines along with Morgan himself.

The marines started aiming towards Zoro and Koby. Luffy opened the window and immediately turned his body into lightning before moving into the courtyard. Koby and Zoro only resigned as the marines took aim and prepared to fire their weapons, but Luffy suddenly appeared in front of them with a flash that he usually used, it made Koby and Zoro feel calm for a while while making the marines shocked.

"SHOT AT THE BOY WITH THE STRAW HAT!" Morgan shouted at his men. Luffy immediately coated his body with Armament Haki and waited for the weapon to be fired. He didn't have to wait long because a few seconds after Morgan gave orders to every marine holding a weapon, they pulled the trigger.

What happened next made everyone's eyes widen. The bullet fired at Luffy hit him but he was unharmed. All of the bullets just fell into the dented ground as if they were hitting a steel wall.

"It won't work on me" Luffy said as he looked at them with cold eyes like a murderer.

"Who are you really?" Zoro asked with widened eyes. Luffy turned his head towards Zoro and used one of Zoro's swords to free him before speaking.

"My name is Monkey D. Luffy," Luffy said as he handed his sword to Zoro, "And I will become the Pirate King."
