The Chapter 140

**One week later**

An entire week had passed since Luffy spoke to his subordinates at Hell's Company. He was currently standing on the back deck of the Going Merry wearing a pair of black beach shorts and a shirt patterned in unsheathed red flowers, flaunting his necklace which had a lightning-shaped pendant, which he had, as well as her very tight abdominal muscles and also the tattoo of Jolly roger from The Red Hair Pirate on the left side of her abdomen.

Their pose logs finally point to the next island, and the crew gets ready to sail. Usopp, Sanji, and Chopper are loading some supplies onto the ship, Nami and Nojiko are talking to Conis and his father about how they will return to the Blue Sea, Robin was sitting on the main deck reading a book, and Zoro was standing next to Luffy staring at the island.

Most of the Skypieans came to greet the crew farewell. They all waved and cheered at Luffy, yet he ignored them all.

"Do you know the next island designated by the postal log?" Zoro asked, drawing Luffy's attention.

"Come on," Luffy replied before he turned around and walked to his throne. "It wouldn't be nice to know where we're going all the time" he added, sitting down.

Luffy then turned to the main deck to see Sanji, Usopp, and Chopper loading the last supplies on board. "Please call Nami and Nojiko" Luffy told Zoro, causing him to nod his head before walking to the side of the ship and shouting for them.

While Zoro did that, Luffy turned around and spoke to Sanji. "Are we ready, Sanji?" She asked.

"Aye, Captain," Sanji replied as he looked at Luffy. "The deck under the ship became very crowded considering all the gold stored there, but we've already put it all in" Sanji added causing Luffy to nod.

"Alright then," said Luffy as he watched Nami and Nojiko walk towards the ship. "Thank the anchor and get ready to sail towards Cloud End!" luffy's command causes Chopper to walk to the front of the ship and pull the anchor while Usopp and Sanji release the sail.

Nojiko walks towards the wheel to take over the wheel while Nami and Zoro move to stand on either side of Luffy.

"Conis and his father will drive us to Cloud End" Nami said, causing Luffy to nod his head. It didn't take long, the ship's sail instantly caught a bit of wind, but thanks to the extra weight that was on board, the wind's gust was strong enough to move the ship.

"It looks like we have a problem" Luffy said as he raised one eyebrow and stared at the screen.

"Don't worry!" Usopp shouted, attracting the attention of everyone. "Captain Usopp will save your day!" he stated before searching around for something in his bag before taking out the two dials he got from the Skypiea people.

Usopp then walked up the upper deck and stood right behind the main mast and aimed two dials at the screen. He then pressed the button that was on the back of the dial causing a gust of wind to blow out of the shell.

As soon as the wind hit the sails, the ship jolted forward and began sailing out of the harbor on Angel Island.

"Kereennn!" Chopper shouted with stars in his eyes.

"Good, Usopp," Nami said with a smile.

"I'm impressed," added Luffy with a grin. Usopp immediately laughed proudly because of all the praise he got.

As the ship sailed away, the Skypieans waved and shouted at their heroes, as they watched them sail. On the side of the Going Merry surfing waver is Conis and his father who deliver Luffy and the crew to Cloud End.

"That's Cloud End!" Conis shouted while pointing to the structure of the building that was in front. The building was a gate as they saw when they entered Skypiea.

The only difference was that this one did not have a golden gate and was not as big as the one at the entrance of Skypiea. But the gate still had a beautiful rainbow forming a large arch just above the gate.

Conis and his father increased their speed and preceded the Going Merry to anchor their wavers to a dense section of cloud around the gate. As Merry sailed through the gate, the father-son duo began to run beside the ship while shouting their farewell greetings.

"We can only accompany you here!" Shouted Pagaya.

"Get yourself guys!" Conis shouted while waving his hand.

"Thank you for everything!" Nami shouted back while waving.

"We're gonna miss you!" Nojiko shouted as they sailed further through the gate.

"Conis-chwaan! Don't forget me!" Sanji shouted with a heart in his eyes.

"Now take care of yourself and hold on tight!" Pagaya shouted to the crew. "You're going to get into a bumpy lane!" he said, causing them to nod.

The ship then sailed through a tunnel with the end leading down. All the crew began to cling to the ship, preparing to go through an equally rough path when boarding here.

"Hand in and don't fall off the boat" Luffy said calmly as he crossed his legs on his throne and sat there without caring about anything. Merrry then sailed down and began to pick up speed.

"You guys hold on tight! The free fall is about to begin!" Conis shouted right as the Going Merry sailed off the descending course and began to fall towards the blue sea.

'Free jump?' everyone thought to themselves, before an expression of fear appeared on each of their faces.

Even Luffy's eyes widened slightly when the ship started to fall from a height of 10 thousand meters. The ship fell about 500 feet in about 10 seconds before the giant octopus shot out of the clouds and wrapped itself around the ship.

"What what the fuck?" zoro exclaimed as he prepared to cut off the octopus, but it was not so when the ship stopped falling quickly and began to slow down dramatically, to the point where the ship seemed to be floating.

"Well, this is new" said Luffy, staring at the giant octopus that acts like a balloon.

"It's a balloon" Chopper said in amazement as he stared at the creature.

"We didn't fall" Nami commented. Before anyone else could say anything else, the entire straw hat crew heard the beautiful sound of a giant golden bell ringing.

"At this speed, it might take us a while to return to the Blue Sea," Luffy said as he stood up from his throne. "I suggest you all enjoy this moment and relax" he added before he walked into his private room.
