Chapter 9's

before Zoro could say anything to Luffy, Morgan gave a new order to his men.

"If the bullets don't work, use your sword!" When he said that, all the marines unsheathed their swords and charged towards Luffy, Zoro, and Koby.

Before they could reach Luffy and Koby they were intercepted by Zoro who held each of their swords with all three of his swords. Luffy was amazed by the fact that Zoro used the art of three swords.

Zoro held two katanas in his hand while the third he put them in his mouth. Luffy stopped his observation when he heard Zoro's voice.

"Make one move and you die" Zoro told the marines in a cold voice that made some of them start screaming in fear.

He then turned his attention to Luffy before speaking again, "Today I officially became a villain because I fought against the Marine. So, I'm gonna be a pirate like I promised you, but I want you to know one thing. Even though I am with you, I dedicate myself to fulfilling my ambitions" Zoro said. Luffy turned around and looked at her before speaking.

"And that was?" Luffy asked. Zoro smiled and spoke with determination.

"To be the greatest swordsman in the world and nothing else" he said, making Luffy smile before replying.

"The pirate king certainly needed the best man in his crew" Luffy said. Luffy and Zoro are once again troubled by Morgan's voice.

"What are you waiting for, kill them all!" he yelled. All his men retreated from Zoro and let him stand before they spoke in a fearful tone.

"Captain, we can't beat them" said one Marine.

"Yes they're monsters!" the other word.

"We will only die if we face them!" said another marine. Now Morgan was trembling with anger.

"This is an order, every marine who doesn't follow my orders take out your weapons and shoot your own heads!" Shouted Morgan. At first, Luffy thought he was crazy to give such orders because no one was stupid enough to follow such orders, but Luffy was shocked when he saw some marines actually taking up their guns to shoot themselves.

'Basic of a bunch of idiots.' Luffy thought to himself as he watched the several marines shakily raise their weapons to shoot themselves.

Luffy quickly sent Conquorer Haki's controlled attack on the marine members who wanted to shoot themselves, making each of them faint to the ground with foam in the mouth.

Morgan's eyes widened in shock when he saw his men faint. He looked towards Zoro thinking he had done something, but he saw Zoro as surprised as he was.

Morgan then looked towards Luffy only to see him walking calmly towards him.

"A leader who doesn't care about his men's lives is nothing but trash" Luffy said in a tone that gave a sneak peek at Morgan's back. Morgan quickly braced himself and swallowed his fear before speaking.

"They are weak, what matters in this world is strength and power. A weakling like you would never understand that!" Morgan shouted before attacking towards Luffy, but stopped in his tracks as Luffy spoke.

"A downward strike from your right hand will do nothing" said Luffy, leaving Morgan's eyes wide open. While Morgan froze in fear Luffy did not stop walking towards her.

Luffy then wrapped his palm with electricity before disappearing from everyone's sight. Luffy then appears on Morgan's right and with his palm coated with electricity he cuts Morgan's right hand off his elbow.

Morgan screamed in pain and tried to jump backwards to distance himself from Luffy, but he could not go far as Luffy was already behind him with his arms pulled back ready to attack.

"Acchidori!" Luffy shouted as he thrust his hand into Morgan's chest. Zoro and Koby stared wide-eyed as they watched Luffy pull his hand from Morgan's chest, letting his lifeless body fall helplessly and lie in a pool of his own blood.

Luffy then took out a handkerchief from his coat and started wiping the blood from his hands. He then looked at the morgan corpse before speaking in an emotionless cold voice.

"A bastard like you doesn't deserve to live" he said before beginning to walk back towards Zoro and Koby. As he walked back towards them, the marines who had been unconscious on the ground began to regain consciousness.

When they woke up and saw the body of their captain who died on the ground, instead they tried to take revenge on Luffy as he thought, they instead started cheering and thanking Luffy for freeing them from Morgan's leadership.

"It looks like they were all scared of Morgan before we even got to this island" Koby said, getting Luffy's attention. Just as Luffy was about to reply, he heard something fall on the ground next to him.

When Luffy looked over to see what it was, the voice was his first crewman to fall unconscious on the ground.

"Well, we better give him some food, right away" said Luffy, lifting Zoro up and putting him on his shoulder before heading to the bar that the little girl had, which he knew was Rika, his mother's.

* Timeskip: 15 minutes *

"Oh, I'm full!" zoro said as he sat at the table with an empty plate in front of him. "Not eating for three weeks, made me want to chew on my own shoelaces," he said, making Rika and her mother laugh amusedly.

"You only," he answered. Zoro looked at Luffy as if he was crazy.

"So, how strong are you?" Zoro asked.

"I can face my entire fleet of Marine battleships myself, and when I finish training you, you will be able to do the same," Luffy said in a serious voice.

If others said something like that, Zoro would think they were crazy, but after meeting Luffy, Zoro didn't think anyone could surprise him anymore. Just as Zoro was about to say something, a group of marines entered the bar and saw Luffy who did not look too bothered by their presence.

"Hey, you guys over there, we heard you were pirates. Is this rumor true?" A marine that Luffy guessed was the highest-ranking officer at the base after Morgan said.

"Yes, right," Luffy replied before taking a sip (drinking a little) of his whiskey.

"We appreciate all that you have done to save our city from the terrible leadership that has terrorized us all for so long, however, because now we know you are pirates, we as marines cannot just sit still and watch you do as you please. Therefore, you and your crew must leave this city immediately and in honor of what you have done, we will not report your actions to the headquarter. " the word marine caused the people of the city who were outside to start protesting. Luffy then raised his hand, making them all silent before he spoke.

"It's all right, we were planning to leave, but before we left there was something I needed to do" Luffy said before he grabbed his coat making all the marines there nervous.

He then took out a snail transponder and placed it on the table before pressing the number. The snail started ringing for about ten seconds before someone lifted up.

"Hello," said a man at the end of a transponder snail. Luffy smiled before answering.

"Is this Vice Admiral Garp?" Luffy's words made the eyes of every marine and civilian look like plates.

"I'm the guy. Who'sis this?" Garp asked. Luffy smirked before answering.

"Your grandson," said Luffy made everyone's jaws drop. Luffy laughed at their reaction.

"LUFFY!" Garp yelled through the transponder snail, "You bastard boy, how dare you leave the island and join that red-haired bastard huh!" Garp said making Luffy roll his eyes before answering.

"I miss you too, jiisan." Luffy said with a smile Garp chuckled, "Anyway I called because I know you always wanted me to join the marines, but that's not going to happen." Luffy said to make Garp growl on the other end of the phone,

"However, I found my replacement for you." Said Luffy while looking at Koby which made his eyes widen.

"Oh, and who's this replacement?" Garp asked.

"But named Koby. He's a little weak and a little cowardly, but I think you'll like him." Luffy. Garp did not say anything for about thirty seconds before he sighed and replied.

"I'll pick him up and see once I finish training him, he'll kick your ass flying all the way to the grand line" Garp said, making Luffy laugh.

"She's in Shells Town in East Blue. By the way, Shells Town will need a new Marine Captain. I just got rid of their leader" Luffy said.

"I don't even want to know why" Garp said. Luffy smiled before speaking again.

"Well, I gotta go, grandpa. I'm sure you and I will meet soon .. So, see you." Luffy said that he made Garp laugh.

"Take yourself a brat, you son of a bitch" Garp said before hanging up the phone. Luffy put the snail back into his coat before standing up and walking over to Koby.

He grabbed his coat and took out the bag of money he got from Alvida's bounty and handed it to Koby before he spoke.

"Here, take this, you deserve it after everything he's done to you," Luffy said, leaving Koby's eyes filled with tears. Koby couldn't say anything before Luffy turned towards Zoro and spoke, "Take your stuff, we'll go" he said.

Zoro then took his sword and stood up to leave. Luffy then turned to the marine and spoke, "Jaga Koby until my grandfather comes, okay," added Luffy as he and Zoro started walking out the door. The marines could only nod their heads like fools.

As they walked towards the pier Luffy began to call out his petrified clouds. When the cloud arrived, Zoro's mouth gaped to the ground upon seeing the cloud. He almost fainted when Luffy climbed into the clouds.

"That's your ship?" Zoro. Luffy laughed before speaking.

"It's only temporary until we get a decent one" said Luffy while Zoro began to climb up and sit in the chair Koby had occupied before, while Luffy sat in his luxurious crew seat.

"So Captain, where are we going next?" Zoro asked as he placed his sword in the clouds.

"Our next destination is Orange town, I need to see a clown" Luffy said in a serious voice.
