Thunder Demon Luffy's

Thunder Demon Luffy's
Chapter 39's

After the ship docked near the end of the island, everyone got off and started heading towards the city. While they were walking, Luffy turned his gaze to look for Marinies who might see them entering the island. He was quite surprised when he didn't see anyone there.

He had thought that with a bounty like his, the Marine would do everything in their power, to try and stop him from re-entering the Grand Line, but it seems that even though they sent more Marines to this island they did a bad job of patrolling the island.

Luffy doesn't complain, after all, he doesn't want to start trouble, YET. When the crew reached the entrance of the main shopping area Luffy turned to his crew and spoke.

"All right, I'll see you later. I'll find out where they're killing here" he said before walking away leaving his entire crew confused. Luffy's main goal to get to this island was to see the place where Gol D Roger died, but before he went to the execution platform, there was something he needed to do.

He was currently walking down the main street while looking at all the shops trying to find the shop he was looking for. After walking for a while, he finally saw her, 'Rita Tailored Clothing,' the shop sign caused Luffy to smile before walking over to it.

When he entered he saw a mannequin with a suit and coat of all designs, the shelves with different colored fabrics and in the corner near the very back of the store he saw a small register table on it and an old woman standing behind the counter staring at him.

"What can I do for you today, young man?" he asked in a friendly tone. Luffy smiled back and started walking towards her.

"I wonder if you can add anything to my coat" he said, taking off his coat and putting it on the table. The woman looked at him with questionable eyes before she asked him a question.

"Are you a pirate?" she asked. Luffy looked at her and smiled widely before he replied.

"Right," he said causing the old woman to match her smile.

"It's been a long time since I had a pirate as a customer" he said as he lifted his coat and began to inspect it. "I'm starting to think I'm gonna die before I can see another one come in here. Let me guess, you want me to add your Jolly Roger to the back of your coat see how you already have a senidri coat," she said as she turned from the coat and looked at Luffy.

Luffy smiled at her and reached into her pocket and took out a picture of her Jolly Roger and handed it to Rita.

"Yes," said Luffy as he handed it to her. Rita looked at the picture and her eyes widened.

"You had a scary Jolly Roger, young man," he said, causing Luffy to laugh.

"I'm glad it's doing its job" Luffy said as he looked around the shop. "How long will it take for you to add it?" Luffy asked.

"Not long, give me a minute" he said before turning around from the table and sitting in front of the sewing machine that was there.

Luffy started walking around the store looking around at the clothes that were there. When Luffy looked around he spoke to the old woman.

"So, you used to have a lot of pirates as customers?" Luffy asked while looking at the number of shirts that were there. From her position in front of the sewing machine, the woman replied.

"Yes, right," he said as he worked on Luffy's coat. "Pirates used to come to this island nonstop on the way to the Grand Line, but all that changed when Marine Smoker came to this island. Since then any pirate who sets foot here will be captured and executed" he said in disgust. . Luffy laughed before replying.

"I mean today everyone with a boat claimed themselves as pirates. If they can't get past one of the Marine Captains, they have no right to even try to break into the Grand Line," Luffy said before looking at him with a grin on his face.

Rita smiled at him and went back to sewing.

"You're a freak, young pirate," he said with a chuckle. Luffy walked back to the counter and leaned on her before she spoke.

"My name is Monkey D. Luffy," he said as he stared at the woman as she worked at the sewing machine. Without looking at Luffy he spoke.

"Ah, so. So, that's why you look so familiar, you're a Rookie Pirate with a big Bounty on your head," he said before he stopped the engine and lifted the coat to take a good look.

"You're making the marines here very nervous, you know," he said, chuckling before returning to work on the coat. Luffy laughed a little before replying.

"It's not my fault, they're all cowards" Luffy said causing the old woman to laugh. After waiting for around a few more minutes before the old woman finally finished her coat.

"This, it's all done" he said as he handed the coat to Luffy. He lifted her up and looked back and immediately smiled.

Stitched on the back of her coat is an image similar to her Jolly Roger, her Japanese hymen mask wearing a straw hat with two lightning bolts replacing the crossbones.

"Perfect" she said before wearing it. "How much?" Luffy asked. The old woman walked over to the cashier's desk, pressing a few buttons before she answered.

"2000 berries," he said. Luffy nodded before reaching into his pocket and took out a pile of money and counted a few pieces of money before handing them over to the woman.

"This is it, thank you," he said, handing over the money and turning to leave. As he walked out of the shop, the old woman spoke to him one last time.

"Good Luck, young man," he said as Luffy walked out of the door, causing Luffy to sigh.

'Why won't he use my name?' he asked himself before walking into one of the narrow alleys. He did not want to walk on the main road with his Jolly Roger clearly visible on his back for everyone to see.

It's still too early to cause any problems and he hasn't gone to the execution platform. So, he started walking onto the platform using all the small, interconnected alleys that Logue town had.

As he walked through alley after alley, circling there and here Luffy realized.

"I'm lost" he said with a sigh as he began to look around trying to find the right way to go.
