Chapter 30's

After fighting with Arlong, the villagers were still trying to think with the fact that Arlong had been defeated and they were now free. This doesn't feel real, because ever since Arlong came to this island, they all thought they'd be stuck under his control for the rest of their lives.

Then Luffy and his crew came and gave them freedom. As Luffy walked past the villagers, and walked towards the back to the village, he heard a strange laugh sounding from behind him.

"Chichi chichi!" Luffy heard this, causing him to turn around to see whose voice it was. When he turned around, he saw the marine he had met with Genzo before. Luffy narrowed his eyes and stopped walking towards the village and started walking towards the marine captain.

"OK, stop there," the marine captain said to everyone, while all of his subordinates pointed their weapons at the villagers. "Today I was very lucky, I saw the whole fight that happened, and I have to tell you that your work is very good and I can report your victory here as a strange accident. I never expected the Fishmen to lose to a small class pirate like you and your crew," He said with an arrogant smile not realizing Luffy was slowly walking towards the Marines.

"However, now that Arlong is gone, I will take all the money I should have given him and all the treasures in Arlong Park" he said loudly with a sly smile on his face, which caused the villagers to be shocked and look towards the marine captain in anger.

"Now drop your weapons! Captain Nezumi the captain of the 16th branch marine will take over this victory !" Shouted marine captain Nezumi. Just as he said that, Luffy managed to get to the front row and quickly slapped his fist over the captain's marine head, which made him fall against the ground.

When they saw their captain being hit, all the marines pointed their weapons at Luffy and some of the villagers. Thinking quickly, Luffy sent Conqueror Haki waves towards the marines, causing them all to faint with foam in their mouths.

"Sorry, but the money is for this village" Luffy said before he turned to Nami and asked her a question. "Is there a nearby marine base here?" luffy asked. Nami thought for a moment before answering.

"There, being in the Northeast from here, it's a 16-branch marine base" he said, pointing eastward. Luffy nodded before turning towards Sanji.

"Sanji," said Luffy getting Sanji's attention. "I want you, Johnny, and YosI to go search the Marine ship there," Luffy said, pointing to the ship behind them.

"Whatever you find on the ship, give it to this village, and then bring the marine back here for me, you can do anything to them" Luffy said causing the three of them to nod their heads.

Luffy then summoned a cloud of lightning for them to ride on. When Sanji, johny and yosaku jumped into the clouds, they immediately flew towards the ship. Luffy then turned towards Usopp and Nami before he gave the order again. "Nami, Usopp," said Luffy to grab their attention.

"You two ransacked all the treasures of Arlong Park .." said Luffy before turning towards the pile of ashes that was once Arlong Park, then he spoke again, this time with a nervous laugh.

"... or forget it," said Luffy causing everyone to sweat. He then turned towards Zoro and spoke. "Zoro, can you fight?" Ask Luffy. When he asked this question, Zoro looked like he had just been insulted.

"What kind of stupid question is that? Of course I can fight," he said causing Luffy to laugh. Luffy then turned around and saw the Marine ship earlier start sailing towards the island, making everyone know that Sanji and the others were successful.

When the ship had docked, Johnny and Yosaku were first out. They carried a large black box where money could be seen sticking out from the sidelines of the box, and from the way they walked Luffy estimated the box was quite heavy.

Behind the marine was Sanji walking out with his hands in his pocket and a cigarette in his mouth. Luffy chuckled and shook his head when he saw Sanji.

The group arrived in front of Luffy and the villagers, and then dropped everything in front of them. Now Nezumi woke up from his deep sleep, and then looked at all in front of him with wide eyes.

He wanted to shout at everyone, but immediately stopped as he saw Luffy looking at him with emotionless cold eyes. Luffy then looked back at Sanji's group and spoke.

"I didn't expect your search to be so profitable ." Luffy said in a surprised tone.

"We didn't expect it either, but these bastards had a lot of treasure and money on their ships. The black box was filled with a lot of money and gems while the sacks were only filled with gold, diamonds and other precious stones," Sanji said before he smoked his cigarette. Luffy nodded before turning towards Genzo and speaking.

"That's for your village," Luffy said as he pointed at the black box and a few sacks, causing everyone's eyes to widen.

"B-but it was much more than we needed," Genzo said got a nod from many of the villagers. "At least take some for yourself" Genzo told Luffy. Luffy only smiled before turning towards Nezumi.

"Oh, don't worry about us, we'll get our pay soon," Luffy said before he leaned over and grabbed Nezumi's collar and started dragging her towards the marine ship. "ZORO, SANJI, come with me!" Luffy shouted causing the two of them to grin before following their captain.

The three of them along with Nezumi who were shouting-triak got on the ship and started sailing towards the marine base.

"Where are we going, captain?" Zoro asked causing Luffy to grin before he replied.

"Oh, we're going to rob a marine base" Luffy said, causing Nezumi's eyes to widen, as well as Zoro and Sanji's eyes. Luffy then turned towards Nezumi and spoke.

"And if you keep your behavior, I'll let you live" he said, staring at Nezumi with the cold eyes of a murderer. Nezumi almost wet the bed when Luffy talked to her. He quickly nodded his head, after Luffy said that.

"Well, fine, whatever you want," Nezumi said in a frightened voice. Luffy smiled then helped Nezumi stand up and dusted her body off the dust before she spoke again.

"Good now you'll take us to the base as guests and then directly take me to the treasure vault at your base," Luffy said in a calm tone as he placed his hand on Nezumi's shoulder.

He then turned towards Zoro and Sanji and gave them orders. "While I emptied the safe of treasure you two went to find gunpowder and ammunition for the ship," Luffy said causing the two of them to nod their heads.
