Chapter 82's

Luffy changed his direction and started walking towards the restaurant with a small smile on his face. As he got closer to the restaurant, a puzzled expression appeared on his face, as he could sense that there was some sort of confrontation going on inside the restaurant.

That puzzled him, as he knew that Ace was not the type of person who liked to make trouble, let alone in a public place like this. Luffy also sensed another familiar presence, but he could not remember who or what it was.

When Luffy entered the restaurant, he saw a marine officer standing in the middle of the restaurant looking towards Ace, while everyone else in the restaurant, was, going to the left tried to distance themselves from these two people who seemed like they were going to fight.

Luffy stared at the marine for a few seconds before he finally recognized him as the marine captain of Logue town, Smoker. Luffy got the evil idea in his head and started grinning, then he quickly replaced that smile with a flat expression and started walking towards Smoker. As he got closer, Luffy spoke.

"Hey, Smokey," said Luffy, grabbing Smoker's attention, and Luffy quickly grabbed Smoker's collar. "Bye, Smokey," causes Smoker's eyes to widen just before Luffy takes a big step forward and throws Smoker towards the wall behind the bar, created a giant hole there and several buildings behind it.

Everyone stared at the event in front of them with eyes the size of a dinner plate, as they watched a teenager just throw a marine captain through a wall.

Luffy ignored the gaze he got and started walking towards the bar where a bare-chested man wearing a hat was sitting and looking at Luffy with a wide grin on his face.

"Luffy!" Ace said happily as he stood up from his chair. Luffy smiled and walked towards the bar.

"Yo," Luffy replied as he gave a high fived to Ace before sitting at the bar. "Please, a glass of whiskey" Luffy told the bartender who was trying to allay his shock at what he had just witnessed.

"Is that all you can say to your sister?" Ace said he pretended to be hurt by Luffy's attitude. Luffy sighed before he spoke.

"you're really taking advantage of this big brother status thing, right?" Luffy asked as the bartender put down the glass filled with whiskey. Just as Luffy was about to take his whiskey, Ace picked it up and drank it before he replied.

"That's right" he said, slamming the glass into the bar.

"Hey! That's my whiskey!" Luffy yells.

"Oh, calm down" Ace said as he waved his hand towards Luffy. "After all, you've been drinking too much" he added, causing Luffy's head to bow before he looked back at the bartender and gestured for him to refill his glass, which he quickly did.

"So, where's Sabo?" Luffy asked while looking at Ace. "The two of you are always together" he added. Ace nodded and smiled before replying.

"Sabo left the crew .. and joined the Revolutionary Army," he said causing Luffy's head to turn around and look at Ace with a shocked expression on his face.

"When that?" Luffy asked in a surprised voice.

"About a month after you left," he replied in a grim tone. "He said he wanted to do good on the planet before he died" Ace added before he took a spoonful of food in front of him and ate it.

"And he thought the only way to do the good things he had in mind was to join the Revolutionary Army," Ace finished, causing Luffy to nod his head.

"Well, when you think about it, it's not too surprising" Luffy said before he took a sip of his whiskey. "Given Sabo's background and history with THOSE PEOPLE, it made sense to join my father" Luffy said, showing disgust in his voice as he mentioned 'THAT'S PEOPLE.' "I will ask my father to take care of him" he added causing Ace to laugh.

"I wouldn't expect too much" Ace said with a laugh. "We both have fathers who need to be beaten" he said. Luffy did not say anything or show any reaction, he simply took a sip of his whiskey before getting up from the chair.

"Are you coming?" Luffy asked as he stood up. "Or are you going to fall asleep on your plate again?" Luffy asked while looking over his shoulder at Ace.

"I'm coming, wait for me for a moment" Ace said with a sigh, then he stood up and started swallowing all the food on his plate. Luffy then grabbed onto his coat and took out a small pouch filled with money and threw it at the bartender.

"That should be enough for everything" Luffy said before starting to walk out of the restaurant leaving Ace.

"Hey!" Ace shouted with a mouth full of food. "Wait for me!" he shouted before chasing after Luffy. When he came out of the restaurant and looked for Luffy, he couldn't find him anywhere.

"Uhhhhh! Where'd he go?" Ace shouted in frustration. Luffy who was calmly walking down the busy streets of Alubarna suddenly stopped and looked back and spoke.

"Where is he?" Luffy asked himself when he saw that Ace was not standing behind him. Luffy then sighed before continuing to walk. "He will definitely catch up," Luffy said and continued walking away. Luffy walked for about five minutes before he was suddenly stopped by the sound of his navigator shouting his name.

"Luffy!" Nami yelled to get his attention. Luffy looked towards the direction where the voice came from with raised eyebrows, and saw his entire crew along with the princess and her duck running towards him with panicked expressions on their faces.

"What's wrong?" Luffy asked the group in a voice filled with curiosity.

"Luffy, we have a big problem" Nami said with a gasp.

"Captain Marine of the Louge to-" Usopp said before Luffy cut him off.

"There is here, I know," Luffy said calmly as he nodded.

"That's not all," said Vivi. "There are members of the Whitebeard Pirates"

"Here looking for me, I know," Luffy cut off Vivi. His entire crew looked at Luffy strangely for a moment before Nami finally spoke.

"How can you be this calm !?" he yelled /quired.

"Well, you know the problem is" said Luffy but was cut off by someone else who yelled at him.

"Straw hat!" Shouted Smoker as he dashed towards Luffy and his crew, with a small group of marines. "I got you now!" he shouted before stopping about 10 feet away from Luffy. Luffy turned around and looked at the marine captain with a smirk on his face before he spoke.

"Hey, Smokey," Luffy said with a grin. "For a long time no see" Luffy said in a mocking tone, causing Smoker to growl.

"This is the end of your journey, Straw Hat!" he said as he pointed at Luffy, with a hint of smoke starting to be expelled from his body.

"really?" Luffy asked as he took a step forward with a hint of electricity starting to surround his body. "What happened to you last time?" Luffy asked, causing Smoker to growl once again.

Smoker decided to make the first move and turned his left hand into smoke and sent his fist forward, towards Luffy. Just as Luffy was about to launch his own attack, everyone present heard someone shout.

"Fire Fist!" the voice shouted before a huge fire vortex emerged from the sky and dispelled the Smoker tinu. The huge vortex of fire shocked everyone except Luffy. As the fire subsided, everyone saw Ace standing in the middle of the two groups with a smoldering fire on his arm and shoulder.

The eyes of the Luffy and Marine crew widened at what they had just seen. The straw hat crew recognized the man now standing in the middle of the fire as the Whitebeard pirate they had seen before and now they were starting to worry.

"It's time for you to show up" Luffy said with a sigh.

"It's not my fault that you're slow" Luffy replied causing veins to form in Ace and Smoker's head, of course for two different reasons.

"Hey!" they both scream at the same time. Ace and Smoker stopped and looked at each other, before Ace spoke.

"Oh right, you're still here" Ace said causing Smoker to growl.

"Enough!" Smoker said angrily. "I'll catch you both!" he said it made Luffy laugh.

"Oh yeah?" Luffy asked with a grin on his face. "you and what? marine behind you?" Luffy asked while looking at the group of marines behind Smoker. Luffy then let out a wave of Conqueror Haki towards the marine, which caused all of them except Tashigi to faint with foam in the mouth.

Tashigi kneeled looking at Luffy with fear in her eyes and her entire body broke out in cold sweat. Luffy decided to have fun with the female marine by continuing to direct his haki waves to the tashigi before he spoke.

"Look at them, they can't even stand up" Luffy said as he took one step forward which caused Tashigi's breath to stop in her throat and her heart rate to increase as she struggled to breathe.

"you should have run .. little girl," said Luffy while looking at her.

"It's a fight for adults and I don't have time to teach the baby how to breathe" said Luffy coldly, while increasing his haki strength slightly, causing the poor girl to faint, causing her to faint, not fainting from haki but from fear. As he fainted, Luffy stopped his right and chuckled.

"That's cruel, Lu," Ace said with a laugh.

"Yup, but it was fun" Luffy replied before he turned to leave. "I'm sure you can handle this?" his question made Ace laugh before replying.

"Of course," he said before turning around and looking at Smoker with narrowed eyes.

"Come on," Luffy said to the rest of his shocked crew, then he started walking towards where they were anchoring the ship. The Luffy crew stopped from their shock and started walking behind their captain.

"Luffy, who is that?" Ask Nojiko while walking.

"That's my big brother," Luffy replied nonchalantly as they walked over.

"YOU HAVE A SISTER !?" Everyone screams in shock.

"And it seems, Luffy's brother is also very strong," Johnny said causing Luffy to laugh before replying.

"you won't know" said Luffy, chuckling. As they walked, the entire crew suddenly stopped and looked behind them and saw a huge tornado made of smoke and fire looming into the sky.

"So, I guess, your brother ate Flame-Flame Fruit Luffy?" Sanji asked as he stared at the fire and smoke tower.

"I think so," Luffy replied as he stared at the two elements clashing. "He didn't have it when I last saw him" Luffy commented.

"Oh, and when is that?" Nojiko asked Luffy.

"About 5 or 6 years ago," Luffy replied before he turned around and continued walking towards the ship. The entire crew along with their captain walked for about five minutes before they reached the area where they anchored the Going Merry.

Everyone boarded the ship and raised the anchor before they started sailing away from the island. As they sail, Luffy finally notices the new outfit of his crew, they are all dressed like the locals from Alabasta.

"Sign!" Luffy called out from the upper deck while looking at the crew.

"Aye, Captain!" Sanji answered while looking at Luffy.

"Are you the one who chose the girls' clothes?" Luffy asked as he looked at Nami, Vivi, and Nojiko.

"Yes sir!" Sanji replied respectfully. Luffy grinned before he replied.

"Good work," Luffy said as he nodded and looked at the three girls, which made them blush and look away. Just then, suddenly a bare-chested man landed on the side of the ship in a crouching position. "For a long time," Luffy said to the man who then looked at Luffy and smiled before he spoke.

"I'm sorry for not having lightning speed," he said causing Luffy to smile and start walking to the main deck.

"Everyone, I'd like to introduce you all to Portgas D. Ace," said Luffy while embracing Ace. "Quote on quote my elder brother," said Luffy with a face showing a rare smile. "Ace, this is my crew" he added, waving at his crew.

"It's nice to meet all of you" Ace said with a bow. "And thanks for taking care of my little brother, I know he can be a little troublesome" Ace added to Luffy's growl.

"No, no, no problem" replied Luffy's crew with a smile.

"Wow, I can't believe Luffy has a brother" Usopp said as he looked at Luffy and Ace.

"Well, we're not siblings" Ace said while Luffy nodded.

"We met 8 years ago when I spent time on Whitebeard's ship" Luffy said nonchalantly as he leaned against the side of the ship. "We became very good friends before we finally became brothers with a cup of sake," Luffy said as Ace nodded.

When Luffy and Ace looked towards the crew, they both saw everyone staring at Luffy with eyes as big as a dinner plate causing Luffy to raise his eyebrows in confusion.

"YOU'RE ON WHITEBEARD'S SHIP!" they all screamed at the same time.

"Yes, for three years to be exact" Luffy said calmly. "Shanks and his crew had to go somewhere to do something and it seemed too dangerous for a 9-year-old, and at the time I was unable to control my logic power perfectly, I still shock people when they touch me. So, Shanks asked oyaji for help because Whitebeard owed him a debt, and then put me on his boat to learn how to better control my powers when they left," luffy said before he looked at his crew with curiosity written on his face and spoke. .

"Did I never tell you this?" Luffy asked.

"Nooooo!" their screams caused Luffy to shrug his shoulders before he looked at Ace.

"So Ace," said Luffy in a serious voice that caught his attention. "Can you tell me what you're really doing here in Paradise?" Luffy asked with raised eyebrows.
