Chapter 89's

Luffy's crew saw this with their eyes widened in shock, while Luffy and Smoker looked with an unchanging look on their faces before the two of them spoke at the same time.

"It won't work" they said in a monotonous voice simultaneously. Just then Crocodile's entire body turned into sand and began to transform back into the Whole body behind Vivi.

"Feel better?" Crocodile asked from behind Vivi, scaring her. "As a native of this country, you must know that I have the power of Suna-suna no mi," he said as his body changed and Crocodile grabbed the princess and placed his right hand over her mouth and her left hand hooked around Vivi's waist.

"You want to be a mummy?" Crocodile asked with a smile on his face while Luffy's crew started yelling at him to let the princess go. "Please sit down, Princess," said Crocodile, ignoring the straw hat crew as he placed the princess in an empty chair in front of his chair with the princess's arms tied behind his back.

"Our plan will begin. Isn't that right Ms. All Sunday?" Crocodile asked as he looked at the woman with the cowboy hat next to him.

"Yes," Robin replied as she pulled out a pocket watch. "It's just right noon now. It's time for Utopia surgery," he said, drawing the attention of Luffy and Smoker.

"Utopia?" Nojiko asked as she looked at the woman.

"What is Utopia operation?" Usopp asked, causing Crocodile to start laughing out loud.

"That means the collapse of the kingdom of Alabasta, Ms. Wednesday," Crocodile said as he looked at Vivi. "I will wipe it off the entire map of the world as if this kingdom never existed," he said causing the princess to gasp in shock.

"You jerk!" Vivi said while biting her lips. "What do you think you're gonna do to Alabasta?" he asked in an angry tone.

"Daughter, do you want to know what kind of person I hate the most?" Crocodile asked with a smirk. "The hypocrites are raving endlessly about everyone's happiness" he said.

"you're planning to kill my father?" the princess asked, "you will die before you can get close to him!" Vivi shouted with a crazed expression on her face.

"No need to scream. I won't touch a hair on his head" Crocodile said with a sinister smile on his face.

"He's not even worth killing. Instead, I will make him experience an insult worse than death," Crocodile said puzzling everyone but Luffy.

"What's worse than death?" Usopp asked himself then looked out of the cage.

"Let him live and see all his people die" Luffy told Usopp, taking out a bottle of whiskey and two glasses. "As a king, it was a fate worse than death" he added, pouring whiskey in both glasses before sliding one glass toward Smoker.

Smoker looked at the glass and then looked at Luffy before he growled and pushed the glass back towards Luffy, which caused him to laugh at the smoker's overly stiff attitude.

"Monster," Nami whispered as she looked at the shichibukai.

"I'm asking you to tell me, what operation is this Utopia!" Vivi's shout caused Luffy to laugh at the princess which caught everyone's attention once again.

"What a funny thing!" Nami yells at Luffy.

"It was funny because the princess thought that she was in a situation where she could make demands," Luffy said with another laugh, which caused Crocodile to chuckle with her.

"Another funny thing was when he said Crocodile would be killed before he could get close enough to his father" he added before he sipped his drink. "Sorry for saying this princess, but she can approach your father as she pleases, plus the simple fact that your father's royal guard is made up of ordinary humans. And people like me, Smoker, and Crocodile, we are human-skinned monsters, "said Luffy coldly looking at the princess.

Vivi looked at Luffy with an angry expression on her face. In Vivi's mind, Luffy did not help this situation at all. All he did was sit there drinking no matter the current circumstances, and it really angered him.

The other Luffy crew had a lot of reactions to what Luffy said. Nami and Usopp wonder if Luffy still has sympathy in his heart, while Nojiko, Johnny, and Yosaku try to figure out what Luffy has planned to get them out of here.

Zoro on the other hand wondered why he wasn't on Luffy's list of monsters. Was it because he did not have any devil fruit? Smoker, however, agreed with everything Luffy said, even though he would never admit it.

"Now it's the truth" Crocodile said as he looked at Luffy.

"Huh, I wouldn't even be surprised if he already had a king," Luffy said before he took another sip of his drink. When everyone heard Luffy's words they all turned their heads towards Crocodile to see his reaction.

When Crocodile heard what Luffy said, he began to laugh out loud, causing all their eyes to widen in shock, while Vivi turned ashen as a piece of cloth, while looking at Crocodile with a sad expression on his face.

"And the fact that we had the chance to meet Mr. 2, I can only hypothesize that you would disguise him as a king," Luffy added in a monotonous voice while staring at Crocodile.

"Well well, you're very clever, Straw Hat," Crocodile replied arrogantly.

"The only question left is what will you command Mr. 2 while he disguises himself as king. Is he going to kill his own people? Bequeath the throne of the king to you? Or will he kill his loyal subjects?" Luffy asked while looking at the Shichibukai.

"But, it didn't matter which plan he was really going to do. Everything will give the same reaction from its people" Luffy said before taking a sip of his whisky.

"What do you mean?" Nojiko asked as she looked at Luffy.

"Is that your plan !?" Vivi yells at Crocodile. "Is that true? Is everyone in this country going to overthrow my father !?" she screamed

"Not that, Princess," said Luffy attracting her attention. "Before he said he wanted to remove Alabasta from the planet. He overthrew the king did nothing of the sort. It makes me believe that he has something planned for everyone once they reach Alubarna," Luffy added, looking at the shichibukai with a grin slowly appearing on Luffy's face.

"Isn't that so, codet face?" Luffy asked with a satisfied smile on his face.

"It looks like a straw hat kid could read you, Mr. 0," Ms. said. All Sunday caused Crocodile to growl and look at him.

"Quite playful," Crocodile said before turning around and staring at Vivi. "It's time for us to go to Alubarna, Ms. Wednesday," said Crocodile before grabbing into his coat and pulling out a small golden key.

"If you want to come with us then go ahead, or you can try and save them," he said, lifting the key so Vivi can see him.

"Lock to the cell," Usopp said as he stared at the key. The Shichibukai then extended his hand with the key, and held it over a hole in the floor that seemed to lead to another room below them.

Vivi quickly begins to struggle and tries to break away from her bond, just as Crocodile releases the key in her hand causing all of Luffy's crew's eyes to widen in shock.

At the last moment, the princess was finally able to break away from her bond, but unfortunately it was already too late. The key fell through a hole in the floor toward the room below.

"Oh, no," Vivi said in a sad tone.

"It will not be long until the rebels and the royal army fight to the death in Alubarna. If you're fast, you might be able to make it in time" Crocodile said in a mocking tone.

"To stop the rebellion, you must leave immediately, Ms. Wednesday. Are you going to stop the rebellion or try to save your friends?" Crocodile asked with a small laugh, which caused the princess to clench her fists in anger. "If you choose the latter, it's a pity that I accidentally dropped the key to Banana Gator's lair" Crocodile said with satisfaction.

Just then, inside Banana Gator's nest, an enormous Crocodile appears and eats the key.

"Oh, no! Banana Gator ate the key!" Shouted Vivi as she looked down the hole. Luffy's crew began to lose hope of escaping, while their captain just sat there as if everything was fine.

"I'm really sorry" Crocodile said as he began walking towards the stairs with Ms. All Sunday's. "But we have to go. Time is important," he said, as they walked away, and the two doors they went to began to open for them to get out.

"Oh, and speaking of time, this room will be destroyed an hour from now," he added causing some of the eyes of the people inside the room to widen. "This is a choice between 1 million innocent citizens or a group of lowly pirates who have no future. It's time to choose, but to be honest, the expectations you have are pretty low for both of them" he said as he turned around and looked at the distraught princess.

"I hope you like to gamble, Ms. Wednesday, because as people do above this room, you have to roll the dice" Crocodile said before starting to laugh again.

"Just like I did with this country. It's easy to fool all the fools who live here as well as the rebels and the old fools who dug a hole in Yuba," he added causing Luffy's head to lift slightly and his eyes narrowed towards Crocodile.

"Hey Crocodile," said Luffy to Crocodile's attention. "you're not talking about that skinny old man, are you?" Luffy asked in a dangerous tone of voice that caused Zoro to stand up and move away from his captain.

"Of course," Crocodile replied satisfiedly to Luffy. "The old fool kept digging all day in a long dead oasis. Even when he was hit by a continuous sandstorm, he continued digging," Crocodile sneered causing Luffy to clench his fists and rise from his chair for the first time since they were there, and stared at Crocodile with emotionless cold eyes.

"you have to stop when you're superior, Crocodile," Luffy said in a stern but threatening tone.

"Or I'll make what Whitebeard did to you just like a child's play," luffy's words caused the shichibukai to lose his smile and growl while subconsciously grabbing his golden hook before his face turned into a grin.

"Let me ask you a question, Straw Hat," Crocodile said with a satisfied smile. "Have you ever wondered how the sandstorms hit the city perfectly every time?" She asked.

Just when Crocodile asked that question, the lightning strike out from the prison avoided all the sea stone bars in the process and struck Crocodile right in his left eye smashing the left part of his face causing the glass shard to fall to the ground.

It happened so quickly, everyone was still confused by what had just happened. Even Crocodile himself had no idea what had just happened. All he saw was a bright flash of light before he suddenly lost sight in his left eye and the sound of something hitting the floor filled the air.

When he looked at the ground next to his left foot, he saw a glass shard lying there, leaving him perplexed. Crocdile then raised his hand to his face and felt a hole in the spot where the left eye was supposed to be.

The hole was slowly repairing itself because he was a logia, but the process of repairing himself was much slower than usual.

"I've warned you" Luffy said as he stared out of the prison cell. The shichibukai only looked at Luffy for a moment before he chuckled and turned around and started walking out through the tunnel.

As he walked through the tunnel, he flicked his fingers causing the trap door to open on the floor and a huge Crocodile came out from there with eyes fixed on Vivi.

After which, several small trap doors opened and water from the lake around the Rain Dinners gushed out from the door causing the room to slowly fill with water.

"Oahhhh! We're gonna drown!" Shouted Usopp and Johnny while hugging. Crocodile only laughs at the helpless pirates, while he and Ms. All Sunday began to walk away.

(For those who do not know, sand is one of the main ingredients of making glass, sand if heated until melted later fitting cold so like glass)
