Chapter 36's

The crew had been traveling for several hours now, ever since they found out about Luffy's Bounty. Luffy was sitting on his throne watching the crew as they were all doing their own thing.

Usopp stood to the right of Luffy to clear one of the cannons on the deck, Nami and Nojiko were behind Luffy relaxing on the beach chair, Zoro, Johnny, he said, and Yosaku was in front of the ship exercising while Sanji was in the kitchen.

Luffy then stood up from his throne and started walking towards the main deck.

"All of you, come here!" he yelled causing all the crew to stop what they were doing and walked towards Luffy, to see what he wanted. Soon Luffy stood on the main deck with everyone around him.

"What's up, captain?" Sanji asked while holding the spoon in his hand. Luffy looked around at each of them, then he looked up at the sky causing them all to do the same.

They all saw a cloud of lightning descending from the sky. Sanji and Zoro soon recognize it as a cloud that has all the money they stole from the sea base.

"Before we start," said Luffy getting all their attention as he walked towards Nami and placed his right hand on Nami's shoulder which confused everyone.

"I need to add to Nami's punishment" Luffy said before a rope made of electricity came out of his wrist and tied Nami in place.

"AHH!" Nami screamed as the rope wrapped around her. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS LUFFY !?" he yelled /quired. Luffy chuckles wickedly and then pushes Nami backwards causing her to fall to Luffy's throne which seems to have followed him.

Nami tries to untie her but realizes it is impossible. He then tried to stand up but also realized it was impossible. Apparently, the electricity binding him and the electricity on Luffy's throne connected to each other effectively held Nami's body in place.

"Luffy is there a reason you tied Nami up?" Usopp asked with a curious expression on his face. Luffy turned around from Nami and faced Usopp before he replied.

"Yes ..this," Luffy said before flicking his finger which caused the cloud to release everything stored within. Everyone's eyes were as wide as dinner plates when they saw the clouds were completely scattering money and all sorts of treasures.

Nami looks like she's at the gates of heaven, but no matter how hard she tries to open the gates to heaven, they won't open. All Nami could do was watch from afar.

"So this is why you tied up my brother," Nojiko said as she walked over to the large pile of treasures. "You're so mean, you know that captain?" he asked as he looked at Luffy with a smirk.

Luffy smirked at her before he started laughing. Luffy turned to check on Nami and saw her trying everything she could to untie her.

"It's no use," said Luffy, drawing the woman's attention. "It won't come off until I order it," he said, making Nami stop fighting and just look sadly at the other crew.

"Alright listen," said Luffy before walking into his captain's room and exiting with a few large bags. "Put all the money in this bag" he said before throwing one of the bags at Sanji.

"Thereafter bring all the gold and other precious stones here and store them under the deck" he said, throwing the rest of the bag at Johnny, Yosaku, and Nojiko.

"We'll keep the money in one of the clouds and keep it in the sky where it's a safe place. The rest of the treasures will be stored here on the ship," Luffy said as he got a nod from all of them. Luffy then turned towards Sanji and spoke.

"Sanji, we're still a few days before we get to Louge Town. I need you to check the supplies for the kitchen and make a list of everything you'll need for the kitchen" Luffy said in a nod from Sanji.

"OK, all of you hurry up and save these items so that I can start your training!" Luffy shouted confusing them all.

"Ummm Luffy," said Nami from behind Luffy. "What kind of training?" she asked.

"Your Haki training," said Luffy before he walked towards Nami and leaned on his throne.

"I'll explain all that when you're all done," he said before summoning a new cloud for him to sit on as he watched the rest of the crew rush to store all the treasures.

It took them about 45 minutes to save everything, but once they finished doing it all, there was a huge bag of money.

"It's all done, Captain!" Usopp, Johnny, and Yosaku said as they stood in a straight line while saluting Luffy. Luffy shook his head amusedly, before rising from the clouds.

When he stood up, the cloud he was sitting on moved closer to the synngasana Nami was above before merging with the cloud and creating a larger cloud. He then flicked his finger as he walked towards the bag which caused the rope that tied Nami to disappear.

Nami immediately jumped to her feet and started running towards the big bag Luffy had just grabbed. As he was only inches away from reaching the bag, suddenly the bag disappeared along with Luffy causing everyone's eyes to widen.

When they disappear, Nami drops forward and lands on top of Sanji with Sanji's face buried in his chest which causes Sanji to turn into a rocket with a large nosebleed coming out of his nose.

When everyone turned to see where Luffy was going, they all saw him standing in front of the throne with a bag in his hand. While Nami lifted herself off the ground, Luffy lifted the bag and dropped it on his throne made of clouds, causing the bag to disappear into the clouds.

"Good, now that we're all done, let's get started" he said as he sat on his throne.

"Before I teach you Haki, I will first explain to you all what haki is. I've told Zoro about haki so he knows the general idea of haki and what it does, but he doesn't know how to use it" Luffy said, getting a nod from Zoro.

Sanji who finally managed to control his nose walked next to Nojiko and spoke while putting tissue in his nose.

"The old man once told me about haki," he said to Luffy's surprise. "Well, rather he just mentioned his name, didn't really explain what it was," he said causing Luffy to nod his head in an understanding manner.

Luffy had heard rumors that Zeff had once entered the New World but only for a short time because he found it too difficult sailing in the new world, and returned to Paradise.

So, he could understand how Zeff could find out about Haki. "He says it's a power that every pirate in the Grand Line has, and that power itself is a power that can rival devil fruit users," Sanji scares Usopp, Nami, Johnny, and Yosaku.

Luffy laughed at their reaction.

"Not everyone on the Grand Line knows Haki," said Luffy distracting them from Sanji. "Only people in the New World know about Haki. The pirates in Paradise don't really know about it" Luffy said.

"Umm, Luffy," Nojiko said causing Luffy to look at her, "New world? The paradise? what are you talking about?" Nojiko asked making all the crew nod their heads making Luffy know that they don't understand either.

"The Grand Line is divided into two parts, the first part that we will enter in about three days is called Paradise while the second part is called the New World," he said looking at them all.

"This is a common mistake people make when thinking that the Grand Line is just one elongated ocean, but in fact, the Grand Line has two parts separated by the Red Line," luffy said as he grabbed his coat and took out a bottle of whiskey and a glass and started pouring drinks for himself.

"The paradise?" Nami asked in a scared voice that caused Luffy to grin. "I think we've all heard how scary it is about the Grand Line and none of those stories allude to paradise" Nami said getting a nod from Usopp and the bounty-hunting duo.

Luffy's evil grin made the other crew who saw Luffy's expression even more fearful before he replied.

"The first part of the Grand Line is called Paradise because when compared to the New World, the first part of the Grand line is more like a haven for pirates," Luffy said, causing his crew's eyes to widen. "But don't worry about that now. I will make you all stronger when that time comes" he said, calming them all down.
