Chapter 111

** Return to Luffy **

The Straw Hats had sailed for about a day since they met the Buster Call fleet. Luffy is currently sitting on his throne with a glass of whiskey in his right hand and a transponder snail in his left hand.

He was preparing to contact his acquaintance's contractor about the port that needed to be built in Alabasta. The rest of the crew is scattered throughout the ship, Nami and Nojiko sit behind Luffy with Robin trying to get to know the two brothers better.

Zoro sat to the right of Luffy, napping while Usopp and Chopper sat in front of the ship with their backs turned on each other. Usopp is working on improving his catapults while Chopper is making a new drug to use.

While Sanji was in the kitchen, was preparing Lunch for all the crew. Luffy told her to prepare a welcome party for Robin, something the perverted chef was doing.

The crew were still a bit hesitant towards Robin at first, but they all ended up starting to be friendly towards her. He still doesn't believe in Robin, though Luffy has already said that Robin does no harm.

Luffy gulped down the whiskey before he looked at the transponder snail and took the tip of the speaker that was on top of the snail. He then dialed the number and then the snail started ringing.

"Hello?" answer the deep voice of a man.

"It's Asura" Luffy replied in a bored tone.

"Oh, hey boss," replied the man.

"Bring your men and go to Alabasta" Luffy said to the snail. "Go and meet the king there in person, he's been waiting for you" added Luffy.

"King?" the man opposite Luffy asked in a surprised voice. "Why should I meet a king?" the man asked, not particularly fond of having to deal with a group of nobles.

“Because he will tell you where you can build a port, stupid," Luffy replied in a somewhat irritated tone." You still have the blueprint for my harbor, right? "Ask Luffy in a threatening tone.

"Of course, boss," the man replied in a slightly frightened voice. "The design is exactly what you want," he added.

"Good, now go to Alabasta and wake up immediately" Luffy ordered. "The princess of the kingdom is part of my crew, so she will be watching everything on my behalf" he added, surprising the man once again.

"You have a king's daughter in your crew?" the man asked in a slightly impressed voice. "That's something new, but, all right, we're going there now" the man replied.

"Good," Luffy said before narrowing his eyes. "Oh, and Kevin," he said.

"Yes?" the man now named Kevin replied.

"If I hear that you or your people are causing trouble while you're there .. there will be plenty of rewards to pay," Luffy said coldly, leaving Kevin's spine goosebumped.

"A-Aye boss!" Kevin replied in a frightened voice before Luffy hung up the phone. He then placed the transponder snail in his coat and got up from his throne then started walking towards the front of the ship.

When Luffy was about to walk down the stairs, before he stepped on the stairs something caught Luffy's attention a little. It was an island, a small island located on the right side of the ship.

"An island," said Luffy loud enough for the girls nearby to hear.

"An island?" Nami asked as she got up and walked towards Luffy. When she gets there, Nami looks at the log of her pose and looks back towards the island before she speaks again. "But my pose log doesn't point in that direction" Nami said.

"Don't worry" Luffy said as Nojiko and Robin came and joined him. “The island is too small to have its own magnetic field" Luffy said as he stared at the island. "That's what I need" Luffy whispered to himself, but Nojiko heard it.

"Huh?" Nojiko asked with a confused expression on her face.

"It's okay" Luffy said before he started walking down the stairs. "Change our path towards the island!" Luffy ordered, attracting the attention of everyone.

"But wouldn't that disturb our pose log?" Nami asked.

"No, as I just said, the island is too small to have its own magnetic field. So, it won't have any effect on the pose log" Luffy replied as he turned around and looked at Nami.

Usopp and Chopper ran from the front of the ship and headed straight for the cabin where the ship's rudder was. The two then steered the ship towards the small island. As they got closer to the island, they could see a small canal heading straight for the island. "Give it to the canal!" Luffy yelled at Usopp and Chopper.

"Yes!" answer them while tilting the ship to sail towards the canal. When it happened Sanji heard the commotion and came out to see what happened.

"What the hell is going on?" he asked as he walked and stood next to the girls.

"We will stop at this island," Nojiko said causing Sanji to look at the island.

"Sanji, wake Zoro up" said Luffy, causing the cook to grin evilly and then start walking up the stairs to the upper deck where Zoro slept. Ten seconds later everyone heard a loud noise and screams of pain.

"Wake up, you ugly Moss Head!" Shouted Sanji.

"Shut up, you weird curly eyebrows!" Zoro yelled back.

"what did you call me!" Sanji yelling.

"You heard me!" Answer Zoro.

"You two shut up and get down here!" Nami's shout caused the two of them to grumble and walk down the stairs. As they sailed down the canal, they could not help but admire the beauty of this island. On the side of the island are sandy beaches that lead to tropical forests. Under their ship was clear blue water where the crew could see fish swimming inside.

"I have to agree," Luffy said with a nod while looking at the scenery. "Let's dock in front of that big palm tree" Luffy said as he pointed at the giant palm tree that stretched over the canal.

Zoro nodded and walked to the front of the ship, getting ready to drop the anchor. When the ship reached just below the palm tree, Zoro dropped the anchor into the water, which caused the ship to jerk slightly before stopping. Then Usopp exited the cabin along with Chopper, and the two of them along with Sanji and Nojiko started raising the screen.

"What are we gonna do here, Luffy?" Nojiko asked as she walked towards her captain.

"We're going to spend a week here" Luffy told the crowd. "We will use that time to repair the ship" he said again, causing everyone to see the damaged parts of the ship that were during the naval battle.

"I think I can patch it up pretty well" Usopp said with a smile and rubbed his hand against the body of the Going Merry, causing Luffy to smile.

"Good, and we can also use this time for a vacation" said Luffy, getting a happy scream response from Nami. "But just for one day" added Luffy, making Nami's celebratory screams stop.

"But why?" Nami asked with a frown.

"For a week or so, all of you will train with me," Luffy said with a chilling laugh, causing everyone to goosebumps. "But for now, let's relax" added Luffy as he jumped to the side of the ship and jumped onto the beach.

“We can have lunch on the beach, "said Sanji while heading for the kitchen.

"That seems like a great place to read," Robin added, then jumped off the ship with a book in her hand.

"I want to meet my vitamin D needs" Nami said, while Nojiko also nodded in agreement.

"I'll help Usopp fix Merry," Chopper added while turning his body small.

"I might just go to sleep" Zoro said as he shrugged his shoulders.

**today**

All of the straw hat crew were currently standing in front of Luffy, waiting for him to explain what kind of training he would give. They all spent the previous day relaxing and enjoying the island they were on, and straining their relationship together as a crew.

It was a really fun activity for Robin, who was a new crew member, to see how the crew communicated with each other and get to know them better.

"Alright, listen!" Luffy said, grabbing their attention. "You're going to be training in groups for the next few weeks" Luffy said, making them nod. "One group will train in armament haki, while the other will practice in haki observation," Luffy added again, causing them to nod.

"Umm," Robin let out her voice, drawing Luffy's attention. "I've heard you talk about haki before, but I don't know what it is" Robin said, staring at Luffy.

"It doesn't matter" Luffy replied. "You'll join the observation group, just have one of them explain the basics to you" Luffy replied, causing Robin to nod.

Okay, "answered Robin with a smile.

"Good," said Luffy as he adjusted his hat. "Zoro, Sanji, and Nojiko will train together to further hone Armament Haki, as you are the only crew that can use it" Luffy said, making the three nod in agreement. "The remaining ones will practice Pbservation haki together," Luffy added, causing the rest of the crew to nod their heads.

"Are we going to use the blindfold again?" Usopp asked while rubbing his head.

"Right, unless you're done with that part, you can't go on to the next step" Luffy replied, making the crew practicing Obsevasi haki groan. "Don't worry, it's you guys just going to train for 3 days" Luffy added, causing them to get excited again.

"After reaching 3 days of training, the two groups will alternate. The one now performing Armament would practice Observation and the one doing Observation would practice taking out their Armament haki," Luffy explained, making them all nod.

"How exactly are we going to train our Armament haki?" Zoro asked with a curious expression on his face, which caused Luffy to smile.

"The three of you will fight with me," Luffy replied, causing their eyes to all widen. "Haki's Armament ability can only be improved through combat. So, instead of the three of you going to fight, you will fight against me," Luffy added, smiling, making them all regret every life decision that brought them to this point.

"I have a question?" Nojiko asked, causing Luffy to nod at her. "You're saying that some people can practice their haki observations in such a way that they can see a little bit into the future, right?" Nojiko asked, causing Luffy to nod once more.

"Then what about Armament, does that type of haki have another level?" nojiko asked, making Luffy smile and walk to the nearest tree from her.

"Yup," Luffy replied as he placed his hand on the tree. His hand turned black as usual when Luffy used Armament haki. The next thing that happened made all the straw hat crew interested.

Around Luffy's hand, a dark red aura began to form. The aura then began to move towards the tree and a few seconds later the tree exploded from the inside out.

"The highest level of Armament allows you to insert the haki into the target's body and destroy them from within," Luffy explained, causing all of their eyes to widen.

"Woah," said Usopp, looking at the scene in amazement.

"Kereenn!" Chopper screamed with stars appearing in his eyes, causing Luffy to laugh.

"I also had a reaction just like you when I first saw it" Luffy said as he walked towards them. "But don't focus on that now" Luffy said, drawing their attention.

"I needed several years of training to get to that level" he said, causing some of the crew to look sad while some of the crew showed strong determination on their faces, like Zoro.

"That sucks," Nami said with a frown, causing Luffy to chuckle.

"Alright, now let's start training" Luffy said with a smile.
