Chapter 46's

As the ship began to descend the mountain, the closer they were to the bottom, the more confused everyone became.

"Luffy, is there really another mountain at the base of this track?" Nami asked in a confused voice. Luffy looked at her with a puzzled look before he spoke.

"No, why?" Luffy asked. Nami pointed to the front of the ship which caused Luffy to turn around and see where he was pointing. At the base of the mountain where the canal entered the Grand Line, Luffy saw something rather large blocking the exit.

"It wasn't there 10 years ago" he said, looking ahead. Suddenly a strange sound filled the air as they descended. It sounded like animals wailing or crying. As they got closer to the bottom Luffy looked to Johnny and Yosaku and shouted orders to them.

"Go to the helm and get ready to steer the ship or we'll barrack whatever's ahead!" Luffy yelled causing them to run in, but they came back again while yelling at Luffy.

"AHHH HIS SHIRT IS BROKEN!" their screams caused Luffy to sigh. Luffy then started summoning the large clouds and merging them into the large clouds that were already around the ship to increase the layers if they hit anything at all. As they got closer, the unfamiliar voice became louder.

"What a sound is that!" Nojiko asked as she put her hand on her ear to try and hear her voice a little better. As the ship gets closer, Luffy can finally figure out what it is.

"Oh, shit," said Luffy. "That's a giant whale!" his screams made everyone panic.

"Luffy we're moving too fast, if we don't slow down your clouds won't be enough to save us!" Shouted Nami. Luffy turned to Usopp and shouted an order.

"Usopp, go to the main cannon in front and shoot when I tell you to," he said causing Usopp to run down the deck. As the ship got closer and closer everyone started to become more fearful as the ship quickly approached the giant whale.

When they were twenty feet away from the whale, Luffy shouted. "NOW USOPP!" he shouted causing Usopp to fire a cannon. When the cannons were fired, the ship jolted backwards slightly making Nami and Nojiko fall to the deck, before finally the ship started to slow down.

The ship did not stop completely but it was enough for the clouds to absorb the impending impact. When everything happened, the ship was safe and everyone was alive and that was what Luffy wanted.

"Grab a paddle and start paddling this thing!" Luffy's words caused Sanji, Zoro, Johnny, and Yosaku to grab both oars and start rowing to the left of the giant whale and away from danger.

As they paddled around the whale, Luffy got a chance to see it well. It was a very large black whale of comparable size or larger than Sea Kings in the Calm Belt.

The whale had many scars on its head, which Luffy guessed happened because this whale banged its head against the Red Line for reasons he did not know.

"That's a very big Pope," Sanji said as he paddled causing everyone to nod their heads while looking at the pope in astonishment and with a hint of fear.

"I don't think he likes us shooting him with cannons," luffy said with a laugh as the whale opened its mouth and roared loudly while showing everyone an enormous tooth larger than the Going Merry.

As his mouth opened the water from the sea flowed into his mouth and down into his throat. Going Merry is also drawn to the water the whale sucks, causing all the crew to panic.

"We're all going to die!" shouted Nami.

"Is this how we end up !?" Usopp Shouts. Luffy stepped forward and coated his hands with lightning preparing to kill the whale, when suddenly the whale's mouth closed and began diving underwater.

"Damn it, he went diving" said Luffy knowing if he punched the whale now, they would all definitely die. Everyone looked forward and saw they were going to crash into the belly of the whale, then they closed their eyes including Luffy.

everyone waited and waited for their death to come but it did not happen. So, they decided to open their eyes to see what was going on, and what they saw made their jaws hang from their mouths.

"Is this real?" Sanji asked in disbelief.

"I don't know. I'm sure we were swallowed by that whale. Johnny said as Yosaku nodded behind him. In front of everyone, they saw an open sky filled with birds in the air and to the right of the Going Merry.

there is a small island with a house on it. This confused everyone, one minute they were swallowed by a whale and the next they returned to the open sea.

They all turned towards Luffy to see if he knew what was going on, but Luffy shook his head, signaling he didn't know either.

"I don't know what's going on, but I know for sure, we're not in the real ocean," he told everyone before he walked to the side of the ship and looked into the water.

"The water here is green and the sky above is a painting," said Luffy pointing to the sky. Before the rest of the crew could respond to what Luffy said, a giant squid emerged from the water and prepared to attack them.

Luffy thought everyone would freeze and get scared, but instead, they were all ready to attack. This reaction caused a smile to appear on Luffy's face. Zoro's hand went straight to his sword, Sanji was getting ready to kick him, Johnny and Yosaku took out bisentos they were getting ready to attack, Nojiko took out her three-piece stick and started twisting it, Nami took out a bo stick and stood beside her brother getting ready to attack, and the most surprising of all was Usopp with his catapult pointed at the squid.

Luffy has hypothesized that all of his crew can sense the Squid is about to appear and get ready, he also likes the way his crew reacts to emerging threats. He didn't even need to do anything, he was sure they could handle it.

When they were all about to attack, three spears suddenly came out of the house on the island and stabbed the squid right in the head and killed it. Luffy narrowed his eyes and looked towards the door of the house then saw a man slowly coming out from the shadows of the house.
