Thunder Demon Luffy's

The Chapter 114

The only people left on board were Luffy, Robin, and Chopper. The three of them stood at the bow of the ship watching the rest of the crew running around in various parts of the ship that had not yet sunk, trying to find something that could be a clue how to get to Sky Island. After five minutes of searching, Usopp yelled as he lifted a piece of paper.

"I found a map!" yelled Usopp, grabbing everyone's attention.

"All right everyone, get back here now!" Luffy shouted to the crew. "The ship is starting to sink faster now, fast and back on board before the current pulls you to the bottom of the sea" Luffy shouted, causing everyone to start walking back to the ship. When everyone had returned, Usopp unrolled what seemed like a map for everyone to see.

"Look," said Usopp as he lifted him up. "This is a sky island map," he said, causing them all to see the map in Usopp's hands.

"The island is called Skypiea" Nami said as she checked the map.

"I've heard this before" said Luffy, drawing all their attention. "I thought Shanks had told me that they had visited the island before, but I couldn't remember many things" Luffy added with a sigh.

"If such a big ship can get there, we can too" Nami said, causing Luffy to nod his head in agreement. "We just need to find the record of the captain of that ship" he added, confusing some of the crew.

"But the ship is at the bottom of the ocean now" Usopp said, folding his arms. Luffy wanted to answer Usopp's words, but before he could, cheering voices filled the ocean around them, attracting everyone's attention.

"Salvage's! Salvage the Sea!" all the crew heard the sound. The entire crew then stopped their conversation and began to look around to find where the sound was coming from.

"Look over there," Nojiko shouted as she pointed into the distance at the back of the ship. When everyone looked there, they saw the shadow of a rather large ship approaching them.

"Who is that?" Usopp asked as he lowered his glasses to try and see better who was approaching them. As the ship got closer, the crew could see that it was a rather strange looking ship. The thing that attracted everyone's attention was the two giant bananas on the side of the ship along with the giant monkey statue.

"That's a pirate ship" Nami said, causing everyone to look up at the main mast of the ship and see a pirate emblem on their sails. Luffy simply narrowed his eyes and raised his eyebrows towards this strange newcomer.

"Is this the location where the ship sank !?" a man's voice came from the direction of the ship.

"How did they know a ship sank here?" Luffy asked himself.

"Aye, aye, captain!" the crew of the ship answered.

"Prepare to lift the ship! Whatever is under the ocean now belongs to me, the king of all treasure seekers and Captain of the Masira Pirates, Masira!" said a man who looked a lot like a monkey.

"Good, a ship of unstable people led by unstable monkeys" Nami said with sweat as she stared at the Salvagers (treasure seekers).

"Hey," called Masira when he saw the Straw Hat Pirates. "What are you doing here?" he asked while putting his hands on his waist. "If you don't know, everything that falls in these waters is mine" Masira said, staring at all of Luffy's crew.

"Be careful what you say monkey" Luffy said in a serious tone as he looked at the monkey. "Don't raise your voice to me" Luffy added in a dangerous tone.

"Who do you think you are, dare to say that to the King of Salvage?" Masira asked as he prepared to attack. Luffy was about to respond to Masira's threat, but before he could, someone from Masira's crew spoke to their captain.

"K-captain, that's .. that's Jolly roger from Luffy's straw hat" said one of Masira's crew. "That's The Thunder Demon's ship!" added the random crew, causing the other members of the Masira Pirates to start muttering amongst themselves.

"That was really him, the one who defeated one of the seven Shichibukai," Luffy heard someone say that. When Masira realized who Luffy was, she immediately took a step back and started sweating a little.

"W-what are you doing here?" Masira asked in a scared voice.

"Calm down" Luffy said as he sighed. "We just wanted to check the debris to find out information about Knock Up Stream" Luffy said, staring at the monkey. "But considering you and the crew are professional Salvagers, I'll pay for every piece of information you find there" Luffy added.

"There's no need for that," Masira replied, before reaching into her pocket and taking out the Eternal pose. "I know someone who can tell you all the information about going to Sky Island" Masira said as she held up the Eternal Pose so that Luffy could see her.

"And what do you want in return for that information?" Luffy asked while narrowing his eyes.

"You can buy this Eternal Pose from me" Masira proposed.

"That sounds good to me," replied Luffy as he reached into his coat and pulled out a small bag of money. "5000 Berries" said Luffy as he lifted the bag.

"Agree," Masira replied before the two of them threw each other the items. Luffy caught it and checked the Eternal pose, he saw the name 'Jaya' written on the bottom.

"Yes?" Luffy asked as he looked back at the monkey.

"Alright," Luffy replied before he handed the Eternal Pose over to Nami. "Bring our ship to Jaya," Luffy ordered. The ship began to sail away from the Salvagers and headed towards Jaya.

"Luffy," called Nami, attracting the attention of her captain. "If we go to Jaya, won't that mess up our Log Pose?" Nami asked as she raised her wrist, so that Luffy could see her.

"It's usually like that, but it shouldn't directly record the magnetic field of the island once we get there" Luffy said before sipping his whisky. "All we need to do is leave before the Log pose can record it" Luffy said, causing Nami to nod.

"It doesn't sound too difficult" Usopp said from behind Luffy.

"Hopefully," Robin said as she leaned against the side of the ship. It had been five minutes since the crew left the salvagers, when the sun suddenly disappeared from the sky and was replaced with darkness.

"What the fuck is this!?" Sanji shouted as darkness covered the sun.

"Where does the sun go?" ask the frightened Chopper.

"Well, this is quite strange" said Luffy calmly as he sipped whiskey.

"U-umm, captain?" Zoro said in a slightly frightened voice as he looked behind Luffy.

"What's wrong?" Luffy asked with a curious look on his face as he looked at his first crew. Zoro who looked frightened, slowly raised his hand into the air and pointed towards the sky behind the Going Merry.

Seeing his first crew acting so scared, Luffy jumped to his feet, dropped his whiskey glass and looked back, followed by another crew. What they saw really frightened them. It even made Luffy a little scared.

"What is The ****?" Luffy said in a whisper while staring at the scene in front of him. Standing in the distance behind the ship were three giant shadows that looked taller than the sky itself.

"M-Sea monster!" the entire crew shouted before they all including Luffy ran to the main deck and grabbed the oars then started rowing as fast and as hard as they could, as they could, make the Going Merry dart forward at full speed away from the giant creature.

Merry drove through the waves ignoring the direction and wind currents. The crew never stopped rowing until Merry arrived at the ocean that had the light of the sun. As soon as the light shone on the ship, everyone stopped paddling and sprawled on the deck, sweating from the events they had just encountered.

"What was that?" Nami asked while crawling.

"I have no explanation" said Luffy who was in a sitting position and leaning on the main pole. "If it's a giant, then they're obviously bigger than any giant I've ever seen" Luffy said, reaching into his coat and taking out a new glass and whiskey bottle.

"The creature is as big as the Red Line" Nojiko said as he fell.

"They have wings" Usopp said, drawing all their attention.

"What?" Zoro asked as he looked at Usopp.

"They have wings on their backs" Usopp replied getting Luffy's attention.

"Of course," Luffy shouted with a smile, attracting the attention of all the crew. "How could I not have noticed it earlier," added Luffy, before taking a sip of his drink.

"Aware what?" Nojiko asked as she looked at the captain.

"That's not a monster" Luffy replied, surprising them all. "That's the people on Sky Island" Luffy said, causing all their eyes to widen. "It was a shadow of an object that was at such a high altitude that it made the shadow seem like a monster when it appeared below," Luffy added.

"That makes sense" Robin agreed. "All it takes is a strong light source and a surface large enough to form that shadow" Robin added, nodding. "Awans as tall and as big as that can provide the area needed to display such a large shadow," he added.

"So it's not a sea monster?" ask Chopper who is still very scared.

"No, it's just a shadow of an ordinary-sized person who is at a height," Luffy replied as he stood up and patted the little deer's head. "For now, forget it" Luffy said as he walked toward the back deck where he left his throne. "Continue our journey to Jaya," added Luffy before he disappeared into the back deck.

"I wonder what this place called Jaya looks like" Chopper said as he walked around the deck. "I hope it's a place that can be relaxing" Chopper added to himself.
