Chapter 109's

"I see," said the king of Cobra while folding his hands. "When will the contractor arrive?" She asked.

"I'll call him as soon as we set sail" Luffy replied as he looked at the king. "It shouldn't take him more than a few days to get here" he added with a nod. Luffy then turned his attention towards Zoro and the people who loaded the last crate onto the ship.

"We're all ready, captain!" Zoro yelled at Luffy, which caused him to nod his head in gratitude.

"Then, I think it's time to set sail" Luffy said with a smile. Although he was a little disappointed that he had to leave Alabasta so quickly, Luffy was excited to go to the next island Log Pose showed.

"All right, everybody!" Luffy said in a commanding tone, attracting everyone's attention. "Prepare to sail!" he said, causing the entire crew to nod and the people who were still on the edge of the skungi to start walking towards the ship.

Luffy turned towards the king and extended his hand before he spoke again. "It's nice to meet you, Cobra," said Luffy while the king received Luffy's helping hand and shook it.

"I can't continue to thank you for what you and your crew did for our country" the king said with a smile as he shook Luffy's hand. Luffy simply smiled back and nodded before releasing the King's hand and turning to go to his ship. As Luffy turned around, he looked face to face with a smiling princess with teary eyes.

"Captain,"call Vivi, trying to hold back her sobs.

"Daughter," Luffy replied with a grin. "As a member of my crew in this country, your first task is to supervise the construction of my port and call me when it's over" Luffy said as he looked at the princess.

"Yes!" Vivi replied respectfully and tears started to flow down her face.

"Take good care of yourself put—" Luffy said before breaking off as Vivi threw herself at Luffy and hugged him. Luffy froze as soon as Vivi hugged him.

"I will miss you" said the princess among her sobs.

"you know I'll be back here when the port's over, right?" Luffy asked while looking at the princess. Vivi peeked at Luffy with teary eyes before she spoke in a soft voice.

"you're coming back?" Vivi asked.

"Yup, I need to see if the port is finished to the standard I want" Luffy said. Vivi was about to say something, but before she could, Nami yelled at Luffy and caught his attention.

"Luffy!" Shouted Nami. "Marine!" Nami yelled as she pointed towards the end of the Sandora River, which caused Luffy's face to look solemn before he released himself from Vivi's embrace.

"Lift the anchor and remove the screen!" Luffy shouted before he turned his body into lightning and teleported onto the ship, leaving Vivi very worried. The ship sails down and immediately catches the wind when Luffy arrives on board.

Luffy immediately walked to the front of the ship to see who their enemies were and how many of them were. When Luffy got to the front of the ship, he saw two standard Marine ships heading towards them, so he narrowed his eyes in suspicion.

"What are your orders, captain?" Zoro asked as he walked and stood beside Luffy.

"Usopp went down below the deck and operated the cannon in front of the ship," Luffy ordered, causing Usopp to nod and run down the deck. "Chopper, keep the rudder, Nami and Robin, go down the deck and operate the cannon on the right side of the ship!" luffy's orders, caused the three of them to nod and immediately head to their part of the task.

"Nojiko go to the back and take care of that part, Zoro go to the left side of the ship, Sanji you're on the right, I'll handle the front," Luffy ordered, made them all nod and start walking towards the predetermined location. Luffy then walked forward and stood on the head of the Going Merry.

"Monkey D's. Luffy!" said a Marine captain through a snail transponder connected to a speaker. "you must give up and come with us!" said the Marine captain with a voice filled with arrogance. Luffy looked at the Marine Captain before he started laughing loudly as he unsheathed his sword.

"I refuse," Luffy replied with a cruel expression on his face, leaving all the Marines there goosebumps, except for the arrogant captain.

"Then die!" the captain replied before he gave a signal followed by the sound of cannon fire from the Marine ship. The six cannons that were in front of the Marine ship instantly fired cannonballs towards the Going Merry.

Luffy coated his sword with electricity and swung out a single horizontal slash, sending an electric wave right at the six approaching cannonballs. When the waves of lightning collided with the cannonball, the six cannonballs instantly exploded in the air.

"Is that all?" Luffy asked in a flat tone while tilting his head to the side. The marine captain looked at Luffy with a look of shock on his face. He had heard the story of the famous 'Thunder Demon', but he had never believed it.

He only considers the story to be exaggerated, such as the rumor that says, Luffy could wipe out the entire island Marine base in East Blue. That captain Marine might be new to the Grand Line, but there was no way a human could do something like that.

"If that's all you can do, allow me to show you my crew's abilities" Luffy said threateningly before turning his head over his shoulder where his crew was. "Chopper, get the ship right between those two ships!" Luffy's orders, caused the deer to nod and start pointing the ship towards the space between the two Marine ships.

"Do you really think we're gonna let you through!" The arrogant captain shouted at Luffy. "you will feel the wrath of Absolute Justice!" he yelled.

"I didn't ask your permission," Luffy replied coldly as the Going Merry sailed towards the two ships.

"Fire all the cannons!" Luffy and the Marine captain were shouting at the same time, causing the three ships to fire dozens of cannonballs aimed at each other.

Although the two Marine ships were victorious in terms of cannons and cannonballs, their ships still received more damage than the Straw Hat ships. It could all happen thanks to Sanji, Zoro, and Nojiko, most of the cannon balls flying towards the Going Merry exploded before they could land or be sent back to the Marine ship they came from.

Several cannonballs escaped the trio and hit Merry, but compared to the Marine ships, the damage was very small. Luffy did not move in the slightest, he let his crew attack and defend the ship during the entire cannon fire attack, while he just watched.

After about a minute of relentless cannon fire, the two Maarine ships stopped firing, causing the straw hats to stop their attack.

The two Marine ships were heavily damaged, their sailing masts were broken and burned, there were many holes on the sides of both ships, dead and wounded marines scattered all over the ship, most of the two ships were burned. There were only a few marines still standing after attacking each other, those who were still standing in a bloody condition and were severely injured.

"Well, it looks like Absolute Justice is just nonsense," Luffy sneered as he chuckled and looked towards the two Marine ships. "You have the last words?" Luffy asked as he pointed his sword at the badly injured ship captain on the ship to his right.

"**** You!" reply the Marine captain before coughing up blood.

"You are so kind" said Luffy with a sadistic grin before he raised his sword in the air and lowered it with a single swift movement. The moment the sword was below, every Marine eyes on the ship widened in shock as their Marine ship along with the arrogant sea captain was sliced right in the middle, split into Two.

The two halves of the ship then separated and began to sink, bringing everyone on board to the Davy Jones locker. Luffy then turned around and looked at the marines on the other ship with emotionless cold eyes, which caused all of them to be frightened from staring at him. "Sink them" said Luffy.

"Yes!" there were Usopp, Nami, and Robin before the sound of cannon fire filled the air once again. The Marine ship along with the marine on board was bombarded with more cannon balls, causing the badly damaged ship to finally surrender and begin sinking to the bottom of the Sandora River. The Going Merry then began sailing forward into the Sandora River once again.

"Yinjayyy!" Nami shouted from the lower deck. "We made it!" she cheered.

"Are we moving forward?" Chopper asked

"Yes, it will happen sooner or later, so it makes no sense for us to delay the confrontation," Luffy replied before he turned around and looked at his crew. "Road all the cannons and prepare for battle!" Luffy ordered, causing them all to scatter around the deck.

As the ship sailed on the Sandora River, tensions on the ship continued to rise. Usopp and Nami were completely terrified, while others were nervous about the upcoming confrontation. The sky above them began to darken as a result of the clouds Luffy had gathered.

He wouldn't admit it, but Luffy was also a little worried. He was not worried about himself or his crew, because he knew they could take care of themselves, but he was worried about the ship they were riding on.

Merry has suffered quite a lot of damage in their previous encounter, Luffy is not sure Merry can survive if fighting with a stronger force than before.

When Merry comes out of the Sandora River, Luffy searches for their enemy, but to his surprise, no one is there. Instead of finding a fleet of marine ships there to kill him, he only saw a clear blue sea.

"Captain?" Zoro said with a puzzled expression on his face as he looked around.

"Shut up" Luffy replied as he narrowed his eyes. "It's too quiet" he added.

"I don't like this," Sanji responded, causing Luffy to nod.

"Chopper, follow the pose log and point us in that direction" Luffy ordered.

"Yes!" Chopper replied before the ship started turning and headed for the next island. As they sailed away from Alabasta, everyone remained vigilant, waiting for the attack to happen.

Just as everyone was about to lower their vigilance and relax a little, thinking that no attack was coming, Luffy shouted attracting all their attention.

"Stop the boat!" Luffy shouted, causing Zoro to run to the front of the ship and drop the anchor. When the anchor fell into the water, the entire ship jolted forward before it came to a complete stop.

"Why did we stop?" Nojiko asked as she walked forward a little.

"That's why," Luffy replied as he pointed to the horizon. When everyone looked ahead, they all saw several silhouettes of ships appear and headed towards them. "Usopp! Prepare all!" luffy.

"Aye, captain!" Usopp replied before the sound of the front cannon began to harmonize. Luffy stood on Merry's head, facing the approaching ships with his captain's coat fluttering in the wind and lightning blazing above him.

"Ten Marine warships" Luffy told himself. "And apparently, there are ten Vice Admiral's" said Luffy before he laughed to himself.

"That's the fucking Buster Call ship" Luffy said before pulling out a glass and pouring himself a drink. "I think it's time for me to teach you government dogs that I'm not someone they can disturb" Luffy said before downing his drink.

"They're close enough, Captain!" Shouted Usopp from the lower deck.

"Blow up those jerks back to ************* their mother!" Luffy shouted back, causing Usopp to fire the main cannon of the ship. When the cannon was fired the entire ship jolted backwards, but Luffy remained standing there, firmly in place.

The cannonball flew off from Merry and crashed into one of the warships right in the section of the three large cannons that were on the bow of the ship, destroying it.

"Good, Usopp!" Nojiko shouted from behind.

"Yeah! Feel the power of Captain Usopp!" Shouted Usopp while firing another cannon. "Tonight, I will bathe in the blood of my enemies!" Usopp's yell, caused Luffy to raise his eyebrows and look over his shoulder, all over his crew, only to find that they were staring at Luffy with the same expression on their faces.

"Death to you bastard!" Shouted Usopp as he shot again. All of Usopp's cannon balls hit the same ship, causing it to start burning and sink to the bottom of the ocean.

"I'm a bad influence" Luffy said with a sigh and shook his head. "Okay, Usopp!" Luffy called out, causing the cannon fire to stop. "I'll handle the rest" Luffy said.

After Luffy said that, the sound of several cannon shots rang out filling the air, the nine Marine warships started shooting towards the Going Merry. As the cannonball gets closer to the ship, Zoro, Sanji and Nojiko appear on Luffy's side and begin fending off the cannonball.

Luffy then fused his two palms together as if he was praying, with his elbows widened to the side and focused on the strength of his Devil Fruit.

while doing so, blue electric sparks filled his body and the sky started to darken with thunder booming overhead. Luffy then looked at the Marine Fleet with narrowed eyes before he shouted.

"Thirteen Heavenly Pillars!" Luffy shouted, causing the 9 lightning pillars to come out of the sky and attack the remaining nine ships, causing them to explode. Five seconds after the explosion, four pillars of lightning appeared again and struck the water around the explosion, effectively killing anyone who survived the first strike.

"Isn't that the same attack you used on Nelson before we entered the Grand Line?" Nojiko asked as she stood behind Luffy and looked at the slaughter in front of them.

"Yup," Luffy replied in a monotonous voice, before turning around and returning to the deck. When Luffy turned around, he saw Robin standing at the cabin door leading down the deck with a look of shock on her face.

Luffy jumped off Merry's head and began walking towards the upper deck, where he usually sat on his throne. When Luffy walked over there, he spoke. "Thank Anchors!" Luffy ordered, causing Zoro to nod and start pulling the anchor.

When the anchor emerged from the water, the ship began to move once again, towards the destroyed Marine fleet. Just as Luffy was about to walk up the stairs to the upper deck, he looked to his left and saw Robin staring at him.

"You just ..." Robin said in a voice full of astonishment.

"I told you I'd protect you" Luffy said with a smile, causing Robin's eyes to start to glaze over. Luffy then proceeded up the stairs leaving Robin with teary eyes.

When Luffy reached the upper deck, his clouds descended from the sky and formed his favorite throne, causing Luffy to smile slightly and start sitting by crossing his legs.

He then turned his head to the side and looked at the slaughter he had produced. Many parts of the destroyed battleship were swayed along with many bodies and body pieces floating everywhere.

"You made it look so easy, captain," Zoro said as he sat and leaned against the side of the ship to Luffy's right.

"When I'm done training all of you, you can also make this look easy" Luffy replied as he turned around and looked at Zoro.
