Chapter 69's

'A pacifist had just insulted me and made me bow my head to someone much weaker than me!' Luffy screamed inside his head as he jumped off the ship and landed in the snow.

When Luffy landed, he heard someone landing right beside him and caused him to turn his head to see who it was. When she looked to the side, she saw Sanji carrying Nami by carrying her on the back.

"Wait a minute" Luffy said before taking off his coat and throwing it around Nami. "OK, let's go," he said as they began to follow the man while his other crew, except for Zoro and the bounty hunter duo followed behind him.

After walking for about ten minutes through the snow-covered forest, the man leading them looked towards Luffy and spoke.

"There's one thing I think I should warn you about" he said, staring at Luffy. "The only doctor we have here is actually a witch," he said causing Luffy to stumble a little before staring at the man in surprise.

"A witch?" Luffy asked. "You must be joking, I thought Drum Kingdom was famous for its doctors" he said, surprising the man and the locals who followed them.

"It used to be what is known from this place, however, now this place is just an island without a name" he said puzzling Luffy.

"AHHH! BEARS!" Usopp yelled while pointing forward causing them all to divert their attention from the man, the bear walked towards them on two legs while holding a cane.

"A hiking bear," said the green-jacketed man calmly. "He's not dangerous" he said as they walked and paced each other. "Don't forget to bow, it's manners here," he said causing everyone to bow slightly, while the bear also bowed back.

They continued walking for ten minutes before the group finally arrived at a village. "This is the village where we live. His name is Bighorn" said the man. Luffy and the crew looked around the small village, and could not help but be impressed by its beauty. The snow covering it all really adds to the beautiful look in the eyes of people who come from places that rarely snow.

"This place is amazing" Usopp said while admiring the view. Luffy then noticed the man went to a group of local residents who were with him earlier and thanked them for their help. It was then that Luffy realized that all those people were ordinary residents living in this village.

"My house is here, you can take the girl there," the man told Luffy, causing Luffy to nod and signalling Sanji to follow him. As they walked into the man's house, random people kept coming to him and thanking him or talking to him as if he was their leader or something.

"You can use the bed there" he said as they entered the house. "I'll warm this place up" he said, then he walked over to the fireplace and put the shield he was carrying on his back. "I think I should introduce myself. My name is Dalton, I'm the captain of the island's security team" he said, causing Luffy to raise an eyebrow. "Please forgive our previous rude remarks," he added.

"No need to think about it" Luffy replied as he walked towards the bed where Nami lay and spoke again. "Can you tell us more about this doctor or witch or whatever she is" she said as she took the thermometer from her mouth and looked at it. "His fever is now at 107" Luffy said, causing Dalton's eyes to widen.

"Berapa lama dia mengalami ini?" Dalton bertanya dengan heran.

"It's been a few days and it's going to get higher" Vivi replied.

"We need a doctor, any doctor is not a problem. Where is your witch's location?" Sanji asked.

"That witch, you see those mountains out there?" Dalton asked with a serious expression on his face. "The mountains out there are known as Drum Rockies. Look carefully, do you see the castle there, on the highest mountain, in the middle?" Dalton asked causing Luffy to look out the window into the mountains. "The castle has lost its king" Dalton added.

"Yes I saw it," Luffy replied as he stared at the castle on the highest mountain. "What's so important about the castle?" She asked.

"The castle is the only doctor's residence in our area" Dalton said. "Dr. Kureha, he's the one who's called a witch here" she added.

"From all the places why did he have to live up to there !?" Sanji screamed /quired. "We have to call him here now, Nami needs his help" he said.

"I'm sorry, but there's no way to reach him" Dalton said, surprising everyone.

"You can't possibly be serious" Luffy said as he leaned against the wall. "What kind of doctor is he," he added.

"His skill as a doctor was actually quite impressive, yet, she was an eccentric old woman. He's almost 140 years old" Dalton said, causing all their eyes to widen.

"So, what happens when people here get sick and hurt, isn't he going to help them?" Vivi asked as she looked at Dalton.

"It sounds like a pirate" he told himself.

"Dr. Kureha is the only doctor we have, but she is a woman I will avoid" Dalton added as he looked at the crew with sympathetic eyes before he continued. "All we can do is wait until he decides to get off the mountain" he said.

"That won't help" Sanji said as he bit his cigarette. "Nami is getting sicker every second, we can't wait that long" he said in frustration. Luffy then stopped leaning against the wall and walked towards Nami's bed. When he got there, he started poking her cheek with a finger, trying to wake her up.

"Hey Nami, get up," he said as he stabbed her. "Nami, it's time to wake up,"

"Luffy, what are you doing!" Vivi, Sanji, and Usopp screamed. At that moment Nami started to move and her eyes slowly started to open.

"She's awake" Luffy said before he looked at her with a serious expression on his face. "Look, we can't wait here for the doctor to get off the mountain, so we have to climb the mountain," Luffy said causing the eyes of all the crew members to widen.

"Are you crazy!?" Vivi shrieks. "Look, the mountain is too high and too steep for anyone to climb!" he shouted trying to make Luffy listen to his explanation. "And nami couldn't survive in her current state," he added causing Luffy's eyebrows to twitch slightly before he took a deep breath.

"You know princess, you keep doubting my abilities and it really starts to bother me" Luffy said as he looked at Vivi from behind his shoulder. "In addition we can't wait here much longer, it will take more time, if I have to find a new navigator," Luffy said with a smile as he looked towards Nami, causing her to smile.

"I ... in .. your hand .. captain," said Nami as she stuck out her hand from under the blanket causing Luffy to smile before she clapped her hand into Nami's hand. Luffy then returned to his crew and spoke with a commanding tone as well as a serious expression on his face.

"OK, Sanji and Nojiko came with me," he said causing the two of them to nod their heads. "The rest of you remain in this village" he said before he grabbed his coat and pulled out a small bag of money and threw it at Usopp. "And look for food for you to eat," Luffy said causing them all to nod.

Sanji then walked towards Nami and picked her up, then everyone walked towards the outside. When they were all outside, Luffy looked towards the sky and summoned a huge cloud to descend from the sky. Everyone in the village was shocked to see clouds descending from the sky and quickly rushed towards Dalton's house to see what was happening. As the clouds descended, Luffy jumped up and signaled Sanji to hand Nami over to him.

Sanji walked up to the clouds while holding Nami like a bride and handed her to Luffy who carefully lifted her up and laid her down on the clouds.

When he laid it on the clouds, his body began to sink in the clouds a little before stopping. Luffy then wants his clouds to cover Nami's body a little and leave only his head to not be covered, so Nami will not be cold.

"OK, get on," said Luffy to Sanji and Nojiko who jumped into the clouds and sat on a chair made of clouds, which Luffy made. Luffy then walked past the back of the cloud and turned to face forward and the next thing everyone saw was the back of the cloud it started to rise and form a throne for Luffy to sit on and on the back there's a Jolly roger. It was made of an electric blue light that shone, so that everyone could see. Luffy then sat down and turned to his remaining crew in the village and spoke.

"Okay even though these people didn't give warm greetings at the beginning, I don't want you guys to make trouble here," he said in a commanding tone that caused all of his crew to nod their heads. "And if someone comes here and tries to cause trouble while I'm gone, protect these people and clear up the threat" he said causing them to nod their heads once again, while the villagers were shocked to see the fact that these Pirates would protect them if they needed it.

'With the hope that this speech will be enough to help me convince them to make this island one of my territory, ' thought Luffy while paying attention to the reaction of the villagers. Luffy then turned to Vivi and spoke with a grin on his face.

"Look at the princess," said Luffy, getting his attention and causing Dalton to stare at Vivi with a surprised expression when he heard Luffy calling Vivi the princess. "I can go to that mountain easily," he said, causing Vivi to look a little embarrassed. Luffy then let out a serious expression before he looked straight ahead. He then raised his left leg above his right foot and elbow on the armrest before draping his fingers in front of his face. Two seconds later the cloud began to rise higher and higher from the ground until it was about 20 feet above the ground and exceeded the height of all houses. The clouds then shot forward towards the Drum Rockies about 60 kmph.

"He has the power of the devil fruit, doesn't he?" Dalton asked while looking at Luffy's crew.

"True, he ate the Goro-Goro no mi fruit and became a lightning man," Usopp replied proudly as he spoke of his captain. "By the way, is there somewhere around here for us to buy food?" he asked as he looked at Dalton and held the bag of money Luffy had given him.

"I have a restaurant at the end of this street," a man from the crowd shouted causing everyone to look to the origin of the voice and see a short man who looked to be in his mid-40s wearing an apron stepping out of the crowd with a smile on his face. "I'm the best food maker in all of Bighorn!" he said proudly while everyone around the village nodded in agreement.

"Alright then, please show me the way," Usopp said before he looked back at Dalton. "You want to join us?" he said to Dalton.

"I don't want to interfere," Dalton replied causing Usopp to wave his hand nonchalantly.

"Omong is empty, let's just go with it" Usopp said before he began following the restaurant owner with the rest of the crew and Dalton behind him.
