** Return to Straw Hat **
"Welcome to the White Sea" Luffy said with his arms spread wide while looking at the sea of clouds in front of him. As he descended to the main deck where all the crew were, Luffy saw them all lying on their backs while coughing up water, while their clothes were drenched. "What happened to all of you?" he asked as he looked at all his crew strangely.
"That's a good question" Zoro said, coughing. "What happened to us?" he asked as he looked at the other crew members whose condition was no better than his.
"Can you all brace yourself and see where we are" Luffy said, staring at his crew. They all then tried to stand up and look around, as they looked around their eyes instantly widened, because of what they saw. As far as their eyes could see there was nothing but a white cloud that looked smooth.
"What the fuck .." said Sanji with his mouth slightly open.
"That's a cloud!" sahut Chopper with an excited voice.
"But how can it?" Nami asked in a confused voice. "Why don't we fall?" he asked again.
"Floating clouds, floating boats, it's the same thing" Zoro said casually, causing Luffy to chuckle.
"It's basically an ocean in the sky" Luffy said as he walked down from the upper deck and towards the bow.
"No way, really?" Usopp asked in awe.
"Umm, Luffy," Nami said, drawing Luffy's attention. "This Log Pose is still pointing upwards" Nami added as she raised her wrist.
"True, we just arrived at an altitude of 7 thousand meters. All the sky islands are usually at an altitude of 10 thousand meters" said Luffy surprised them all.
"So that means we still have to go higher?” Chopper asked cutely.
"Right," Luffy replied before seeing something in the corner of his eye, attracting his attention. When he looked, he saw Usopp standing by the side of the ship, preparing to plunge into the clouds.
"Cloud swimming chute, Usopp!" he shouted before jumping from the edge of the ship in a position like a frog. As his skin nearly touched the clouds, a rope made of electricity bound his body and pulled him back to the ship.
"What are you doing, you idiot!" Luffy shouted as the lightning rope disappeared.
"I just want to see how far away the bottom is," Usopp replied as he looked at Luffy, wondering what mistake he was making.
"The bottom of this sea is 7000 meters down, where we come from!" Shouted Luffy, causing the long-nosed sniper to turn pale. Before anyone could say anything else, three giant sea kings emerged from under the clouds, preparing to attack the ship, Zoro, Sanji, and Nojiko instantly reacted, easily defeating the three sea kings.
"I don't understand" Nami said as she stared at the now dead sea creature. "How can there be fish in this place, in the clouds?" she asked.
"As I've said before," Luffy replied as he walked to the main deck. "It's basically a big ocean in the sky and those creatures are sky fish. They are the fish that evolved to be able to live here" Luffy explained, leaving them all amazed.
"That explains why they are so thin and balloon-like" Robin commented as she stared at the fish.
"MUHHH!" Chopper's scream got everyone's attention.
"Chopper, what's wrong?" Ask Nojiko.
"There was a ship and then it split in two!" Chopper said in a panicked voice. "Then there's a man and he's coming to kill us!" chopper shouted dramatically, causing everyone to sweat while staring at the little deer.
"I think the thin air here makes him hallucinate" Nojiko said, making the others nod in agreement.
"No, I think he's right" said Luffy, drawing everyone's attention. When they looked at him, they saw Luffy staring at the side of the ship. "There's a man out there and he's heading towards us" he said, pointing to the right side of the ship.
When everyone saw where Luffy was pointing, they saw a man wearing a mask with a kind of Bazooka in one hand and a shield in the other hand darting towards them. The man then jumped into the air and prepared to attack their ship.
"Hey, Stop!" shouting Sanji. "What do you want?" She asked.
"To destroy you!" exclaimed the man, causing everyone to raise their eyebrows towards him.
"Oh, that's it" Sanji said sarcastically as he prepared to defend himself.
"He belongs to you," Luffy told Sanji, Zoro, and Nojiko, while he turned around and walked to the upper deck. When the man entered the area of the ship, the three predicted the man's attack with haki observation and acted immediately.
Zoro took out two of his swords and blocked the kick from the man, while Sanji did a handstand and kicked the man in midair, where Nojiko took out her three-piece stick and coated it with Haki, who was the only one in the game, it then twirled around his body before delivering a violent blow to the man's body, which knocked him out of the air and made him fly back towards his original direction.
"Good work you three," said Luffy as he sat on his throne. "But he'll be back" he added, pouring himself a glass of whiskey. The three of them then turned around, they saw the man once again speeding towards them.
The three of them prepared to defend the ship, but that person instead attacked them like before. When the man was right in front of the ship, he jumped into the air and jumped over the three and floated to where Luffy was.
"It's stupid" said Luffy, shaking his head and sipping his whiskey, without caring about his assailant. Just before the man could hit Luffy, another man wearing knight clothes and using a spear came over. The knight thrust his spear into the attacker's shield and pushed it away from the ship.
"Stop your attack!" the knight shouted while pushing the man away. The man made a leap in the air before he landed in the sea of clouds and looked at the knight in surprise.
"You ...," said the masked man in shock.
"You're gonna stop this attack!" the knight said firmly, he was riding a large pink bird with a red polka dot pattern on his body. The crew was completely dumbfounded by what they saw.
It was already quite difficult for them to think of the fact that their ship was floating above the clouds, and now coupled with the appearance of knights in the sky riding on some sort of strange bird.
‘Grand Line really never disappoints,’ thought Luffy while staring at the knight with his strange bird.
