Chapter 102's

Vivi led the Straw hats towards the palace, they passed through many alleys so as not to attract too much attention. When they reached the palace, they began to walk up the large stairs leading to the main door of the castle. As they walked up the stairs, they saw a figure standing on the stairs staring at them.

Luffy could tell who it was thanks to his true observation, but others had trouble seeing who it was. As they got closer, Vivi began to recognize who was standing on the stairs. A wide smile appeared on his face and he started running up the stairs with tears coming out of his eyes.

"DAD!" Vivi shouted as she ran towards her father, causing the Straw Hats to smile at her reaction.

"So that's the king" Sanji said as he let out a puff of cigarette smoke.

"Yup," Luffy replied casually.

"You don't sound too surprised" Nojiko commented as she looked at Luffy.

"I've met him, so there's nothing to surprise" Luffy said, shrugging his shoulders. When they reached the top of the stairs, they saw the father and daughter hugging each other warmly after not seeing each other for a long time.

When the two nobles noticed the group standing behind them, they released hugs to each other and immediately greeted them.

"Dad, these are my friends" Vivi said with a smile as she spoke to her father. "It's Nami, Nojiko, Zoro, Usopp, Johnny, Yosaku, Sanji, and this is their captain, Lu-," Vivi said introducing the crew to her father, before she cut him off.

"Yes, I've met him" Cobra surprised Vivi. "And it's nice to meet you all. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you have done for my daughter" Cobra said, bowing her head.

"That doesn't matter" Nami said as she was slightly surprised to see the fact that a king bowed his head to them.

"Come," said the King as he raised his head back. "All of you must be tired, come in and rest, while our doctors treat your wounds" he said before leading the party into the palace.

When they went inside, the two nobles took them to a room with many beds. Luffy hypothesized that this was the castle's hospital area. "Our doctors will take care of your wounds and our chef will prepare a big feast as a thank you for your banMr to our country" the king said.

"Let's postpone the party for a few days and make sure everyone is cured first" Luffy said, while his crew nodded and sat on a different bed. "And besides, you two still have tasks to do," added Luffy causing the two of them to raise an eyebrow at Luffy.

"What do you mean?" Vivi asked while tilting her head to the side.

"Your people are in the Plaza. Tell them what's really going on here," Luffy replied, causing a conscious expression to flash across their faces.

"You're right" Vivi said with a smile. "And we can tell them all about you guys" he said with a smile.

"Actually Vivi, that's not a good idea," Sanji said while the other Straw Hat also nodded.

"Actually," said Luffy attracted the attention of all of them. "That's a great idea" Luffy said, surprising all his crew.

"But Luffy, wouldn't that make our group the center of attention?" Nojiko asked in a confused voice.

"When I invite you to join my crew, didn't I already say, that I will shake this world," he said in a critical tone. "I have no intention of shaking the world from behind the scenes," added Luffy, causing Zoro and Nojiko to smile while Nami, Usopp, and Chopper sulked in a corner of the room.

"I'll make sure everyone knows" Vivi said with a smile.

"Good, now if there's no other business, I have to leave because there's business I have to go to,” Luffy said before he turned around and looked at his crew." Johnny, my yos, come with me. I have a job for you, "call Luffy, they both nod and then walk towards Luffy.

"I'll be back in about an hour,” Luffy told his crew, whereupon his crew gave an answer by nodding their heads.

Then Luffy turned around and left with Johnny and Yosaku right behind him. The three of them came out of the hospital room and went outside, after arriving outside Luffy called his crew for them to climb up. Thanks to the rain falling, the humidity in the air was very abundant, so Luffy did not have to worry about his clouds shrinking or crumbling on the way. When the cloud arrived, Luffy looked at the bounty hunter duo and spoke, "Alright," he said as he jumped into the clouds.

"Aye, captain!" answer the two simultaneously, then they jump into the clouds with Luffy. As they ascended into the clouds, Luffy formed two chairs in the clouds for them to sit on, but the strange thing with this chair was that instead of facing forward, their chair was facing Luffy.

The two former bounty hunters did not question him, instead, they stayed seated and trusted Luffy. The cloud then started flying and shot towards the Spider's Cafe. As the cloud flew about 900 meters above the ground, Luffy slowed down the speed to about 120 kmph, and started talking to the two men in front of him.

"Now I want you both to listen to what I'm saying seriously" Luffy said in a serious tone to get their full attention. "I'll make an offer for the two of you, where you can turn it down if you don't want to," added Luffy, puzzling the two people in front of him.

"What kind of offer?" Johnny asked with raised eyebrows.

"The job offer" Luffy said surprised them. They were both completely confused by this. They felt that they already had a job that was to be Luffy's crew, where they were right about it.

"As you know, I'm going to start an underground organization" Luffy said, and they nodded, signaling they understood. "Good, this organization will have a worldwide reach. Now as you know my entire crew is from East Blue, including me," Luffy said, causing them to nod once more.

"We have families there and people we care about. That's why I need someone I can trust to oversee my organization's operations in East Blue" Luffy said, causing them to realize what work he's offering them.

"So you want us to go back to East Blue and run your operation in East Blue" I asked.

"That's right" said Luffy. "I not only trust you two, but you're also from East Blue. So, you guys must have been familiar with the area," Luffy said making them nod.

"Do you accept it?" Luffy asked while looking at them. The two of them looked at each other for a while and said nothing. It was as if they were talking in silence with each other. After two minutes of silence, the two looked at Luffy and spoke.

"We accept it!" they both said, causing Luffy to smile widely.

"Good!" luffy said, then he took out three glasses and poured whiskey into it and handed the two glasses to the two former Bounty hunters in front of him.

"What exactly are we going to do in East Blue?" Johnny asked as he sipped his whiskey.

"I'll explain that in front of the other members, I don't want to explain it 2 times" Luffy said, making the two of them nod. "When you get to East Blue, you need to find a suitable place to set up the main operating headquarters" Luffy said.

"Where can we find a place like that?" Yosaku asked, not knowing a suitable place to serve as the main headquarters on their home island.

"Perhaps in the Comomi Islands, where Nami came from," Luffy replied, puzzling them.

"Didn't you want us to stay away from the family members of the crew?" Johnny asked in a confused tone.

"Right, but as long as you don't interfere in the affairs of Cocoyasi Village, I don't think anyone will mind" Luffy said making them nod slowly. "You can take over the place where Arlong's headquarters is, it has a small port and everything. Plus, I have a feeling the villagers will welcome you with open arms" Luffy said.

"And we can also give them protection" Yosaku added to what Luffy said.

"That's right," Luffy said with a smile. "However, if I hear one of your men causing trouble .. there will be a severe punishment that I will give," Luffy said coldly, scaring the two former Bounty hunters.

"We'll make sure they don't mess around" Johnny replied in a slightly frightened voice.

"Good, but I want to make sure they all know that you're their leader" Luffy said before sipping his drink. "So, I'll give you some extra strength," added Luffy, making the two of them raise an eyebrow.

"And how are we gonna do that?" Yosaku.

"Simple," Luffy replied with a smile. "With this," Luffy said as he waved his hand in front of them, causing something to appear from within the clouds.

When they looked down, they saw a very familiar chest emerge from the clouds, causing the two of them to realize how Luffy would give them additional strength.

"Well, who wants Devil Fruit?" Luffy asked with a smile. Johnny and Yosaku looked at each other for a few seconds before Johnny spoke first.

"No, I don't need to," Johnny replied, causing Luffy to raise his eyebrows.

"I'll take one then," Yosaku replied, Luffy then grabbed into the crate and dug around a little before he took out 1 Devil Fruit. The fruit is gray with a vortex pattern and is shaped like an apple.

"Here," said Luffy, handing the fruit over to Yosaku. "It was the Sickle-Sickle Fruit" said Luffy, and Yosaku took the fruit from him.

(Sickle-Sickle devil fruit appears in the non canon Arc, specifically the Warship Island Arc, and the owner is Eric)

"What's his strength?" Yosaku.

"This is a Devil Fruit type of Paramecia that gives its wearers long, sharp nails they can use to make sharp wind swords," Luffy said, causing their eyes to widen.

"It is said that the sharpness of the wind created by this devil fruit is as sharp as a meito (famous sword). Its sharpness can cut off one's limbs like a knife cutting butter," luffy said as he closed the crate and reopened it into the clouds.

"Eat," said Johnny, sounding a little excited to see what happens when someone eats Devil Fruit. Yosaku looked at Johnny and Luffy before he began to direct the Devil Fruit into his mouth.

"Be careful, Devil Fruit is famous for having .." said Luffy, daydreaming and seeing that Yosaku had bitten the fruit. "... bad taste," Luffy finished. Just when he said that Yosaku's face turned grim, causing Johnny and Luffy to feel a little disgust.

"That's not necessary" Luffy said, drawing their attention. "One bite is enough" he added before sipping his drink. "Please wait a few hours, you'll see the difference" Luffy said, causing them to nod.

"Now, one of the things my organization will do is produce and distribute drugs" Luffy said, causing them to both nod, understanding that there was a profit to be had from the business.

"You're not going to sell any drugs in East Blue; have I said it clearly?" luffy said seriously, causing the former bounty hunter to nod their heads quickly.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to ask, why?" Yosaku asked carefully.

"We will not sell drugs (legal + illegal) to ordinary civilians" Luffy said, surprising them both. "We will only sell it to the rich and powerful. The nobles, Kings and Queens of a country. They tend to buy in larger quantities than ordinary people," he said causing them both to nod their heads, indicating that they understood.

"Oh, I understand now," Johnny said as he nodded.

"Yes, me too" I added.

"Good," Luffy said as he stood up and the clouds began to slow down. "We arrived" said Luffy, causing the two former bounty hunters to stand up as well. The clouds stopped completely just above the cafe before it began to descend to the surface.

When the clouds were about 1 meter above the ground, Luffy and the two new leaders of East Blue's operations headquarters leaped from the clouds and started walking inside the cafe with Luffy leading in front.
