Chapter 41's

Luffy reached into his coat and took out a small bag of money and placed it on the table before he spoke.

"Thank you for the drink" he said before getting up and walking towards the back of the shop. His Right Observation had warned him that someone was coming towards them.

So, he decided to leave before causing trouble to the old man. The old man was confused when he saw Luffy go through the back door wondering why he did not use the front entrance.

When he was about to ask the young man why, he heard someone enter through the front door, when the old man looked he saw it was Captain Smoker.

He immediately took the money Luffy left behind and kept it in his pocket before he let out an annoyed expression at Smoker.

Luffy walked out of the bar and started walking towards the main Road with only one thing on his mind.

"It's time to cause trouble" he thought with a grin. When he walked out of one alley and started walking on the main street, he could hear people muttering behind him after they saw jolly roger in his coat.

Luffy ignored everything and set his sights on the execution platform that was on the town square. While walking towards the plaza, he could sense he was being followed by the Marine hiding among the shadows of the city while some of them were running around trying to find Smoker.

Luffy hopes his crew finishes doing what they did, as it's time for them to get off this island. When he saw the platform, he turned his body into lightning and teleported himself to the top of the platform and stared at the square.

"So, this is what the Pirate King saw before he died," Luffy said to himself as he looked around. He could see the crowd gathered at the bottom of the platform and they all looked at him in confusion.

Luffy could also feel the Marine encircling the square, none of them being really strong and telling Luffy that Smoker had yet to come.

"GET DOWN FROM THERE IMMEDIATELY!" shouted a man in police uniform while holding a megaphone.

"Why?" Luffy asked innocently.

"You stand on the execution platform of the World Government.get down from there now!" yelled the man. Luffy shrugged his shoulders before speaking again.

"I'm not a big fan of the World Government, so I'm going to stay here" he said to some surprise. The man was about to shout something at Luffy but before he could, his head was hit by a giant metal stick held by a woman that Luffy did not know.

"For a long time no see, Luffy," said the woman causing Luffy to raise his eyebrows in confusion. "I've been looking for you for a long time" he said, swinging his wand over his shoulder.

"And who are you?" Luffy asked.

"How rude," said the woman with a sly smile on her face. "You mean you forgot my face?" he asked in a sweet voice that caused all the men around him to lose their senses.

"Sorry, you don't have such a pretty face, so I have to remember, '" Luffy replied before smiling as he watched the woman's smile vanish and be replaced with an angry expression.

"How dare you!" the tiu woman shouted before turning to the people in the square and asking them questions. "Listen to everyone, who's the most beautiful woman in East Blue?" he asked causing everyone's eyes to turn to heart before they all answered simultaneously.

"Of course you are!" they all said. At that moment, the police officers came and tried to arrest the woman, but when they almost arrived at the woman, the fountain in the square exploded, sending debris from the fountain everywhere and causing mass panic.

"Good, who's the idiot that's bothering me now," Luffy asked himself.

When he looked down, he saw a group of people wearing hooded coats walking forward and started talking to the woman.

"I'm sorry about that, Alvida," said the hooded figure leading the group. Then Luffy's eyes widened, the woman was Alvida.

"You're Alvida?" Luffy asked causing her to laugh.

"What happened to you?" Luffy asked curiously.

"I ate the Smooth-smooth Fruit," he said causing Luffy to raise his eyebrows. "Now that no attack can hit my body, they slip when it hits my delicate skin" he said proudly.

"And as you can see, since I ate the Smooth-smooth Fruit I also lost the spots on my face," he said as he fumbled at his face.

'I think you're losing more than just freckles, ' Luffy thought to himself. Suddenly, haki luffy's observation, felt a threat coming from above.

Luffy took one step back causing his attacker to fall in front of him with the handcuffs that Luffy guessed were made from sea stone. Luffy narrowed his eyes and looked at his attacker, the man looked familiar but Luffy had no memory of where he had met him before.

The man was surprised when Luffy dodged but he was still smiling.

"Hey, lightning man is weird," said the man causing Luffy's eyes to turn cold. "How's Roronoa doing?" he asked arrogantly.

"He's a lot better than you are in a few seconds" Luffy said in an emotionless tone that confused the man.

"Huh?" that was all the man could ask before he received a kick with lightning speed to his face (354,000,000 Km/h, according to google) that sent him flying out of the square.

Luffy looked down at the group of robed people earlier and saw they were no longer wearing their robes. Now Luffy could see behind the cloak was the Buggy Pirates and the one who had just been kicked was Cabaji.

Luffy chuckled and decided to play around with Buggy for a while before he started having fun.

"Oh, I know you," Luffy said as he pointed at Buggy. "What's your name again?" Luffy asked as he let out a thinking pose while summoning the clouds around.

"You don't remember my name!" Buggy shouted furiously.

"Give me a minute, I'll remember" Luffy said as he waved his hand at Buggy further irritating him. "Ducky? No, it's not that. A juggy? No, not really. Ugly's? Buggy ?! There he is" Luffy shouted causing Buggy to smile proudly at the fact that Luffy remembered his name.

"You are Ugly Buggy!" Luffy said as he pointed at Buggy causing him to drop his smile and stare at Luffy with anger appearing all over his face.

His entire crew turned pale when they heard what Luffy said to their captain.

"You're a flashy jerk!" buggy's shout caused Luffy to smile in satisfaction. Some of the people around almost laughed because Luffy's nickname on Buggy caused Buggy's pirate crew to start taking out their weapons and aiming at the civilians.

Luffy could sense that Smoker had arrived and was watching from afar.

'So, they want me and Buggy to fight each other before they come and catch us when we're all tired and overwhelmed. Good plan Smoke, but you have to be better than that, ' thought Luffy while ignoring Buggy's angry nagging.

"You're gonna pay for this Straw Hat!" Buggy shouted out loud, making Luffy out of his mind.

"You're gonna pay for getting me arrested with the rest of the crew and since we escaped, I've been obsessed with getting revenge on you!" the word buggy caused Luffy to recall something.

"Oh yeah!" Said Luffy, stopping Buggy from continuing. "I forgot I had taken you and Alvida to the marine base," he said causing Buggy and the rest of his crew to be a little disappointed.

"He doesn't even remember driving us to jail" they said as they began sulking. The citizens of Logue town were looking at the interaction between the Buggy Pirates and the man standing on the execution platform with confused expressions on their faces.
