Thunder Demon Luffy's

Thunder Demon Luffy's
Chapter 141's

** Marine H.Q. **

Currently, inside the Marine Fleet Admiral's office, there was a small meeting going on between several high-ranking officers in the Marine. Sitting inside a rather large room were Vice Admiral Garp, Vice Admiral Tsuru, and of course, there was Fleet Admiral himself, Sengoku. It was a regular meeting scheduled to discuss events in the world today.

"When will this pirate era end?" Sengoku said as he sighed tiredly from behind his desk.

"Who said this has an end?" said Garp while chewing the rice crackers. "Sooner or later someone will find the treasure and then they will die, and the cycle will start all over again" he added.

"You just want to make my day worse, don't you, Garp" Sengoku said.

"Bahaha!" garp laughed, "yes you're right!" he admitted happily, causing the Fleet Admiral to groan.

"After all, what are we waiting for?" Tsuru asked while looking at her two old friends who were fighting with each other.

"We are waiting for Gion to bring a reconnaissance report this week," Sengoku replied as he leaned back in his chair. Just as he finished speaking there was a knock on the door. "Come in!" Sengoku said loudly. Immediately the door to the office was pushed open and Marine Captain Gion walked over carrying the clipboard.

"Good morning, Fleet Admiral , Vice Admiral Tsuru, and Vice Admiral Garp," Gion said respectfully as she bowed slightly. "This week's reconnaissance report comes from the reconnaissance division," he said while handing the clipboard to Sengoku who saw the papers on the clipboard before handing over some of them to Tsuru and Garp and some back to Gion.

"Is there anything important to report?" Tsuru asked as she looked towards the young captain Marine.

"No problem is too big" Gion said as she looked at the paper. "Civil war has broken out in the Black Raven kingdom in West Blue" he added causing the three Marine officers to nod their heads.

"The world is truly a turbulent place" garp commented as he read the report. "One conflict arose after a previous conflict" he added before taking his rice crackers.

"The Drum Kingdom has a new king and has decided to change the name of the kingdom to Sakura Kingdom" Gion said causing the three of them to raise eyebrows.

"Who is this new king?" Tsurby asked.

"A man named Dalton," Gion replied as she turned her attention to Vice Admiral Tsuru. "He was a former royal guard under the previous king" he added.

"Did the previous king die?" Sengoku asked.

"We don't know" Gion replied apologetically. "We know that Vice Admiral Garp's grandson, the Thunder Demon was responsible for the previous king's death," he said, surprising everyone in the room.

"The Sakura Kingdom that is now also flying the Thunder Demon Flag around their country, signifying that they are under its protection," Gion explained causing Garp to choke on his rice crackers.

"What!?" the three of them screamed in surprise.

"When did this happen and why weren't we told earlier?" Sengoku asked while standing behind his desk.

"It seems, this had happened long before the Straw Hats arrived in Alabasta. We only know about it now because in the last few weeks the kingdom has been quite active" Gion explained.

"Active by doing exactly what?" Garp asked as he narrowed his eyes, wondering what kind of trouble his grandson was causing right now.

"It seems like nothing bad," Gion replied, calming everyone down. "They just ordered a lot of supplies to produce the medicine once again," he added causing the three of them to raise an eyebrow.

"They are world-famous for their doctors and drug production" Tsuru added with a nod. "And the production of medicines from Drum Kingdom has not been running for the past few years, so this may be a good sign" Tsuru said causing everyone to nod.

"So, the Thunder Demon already has two countries under his control," Sengoku commented as he sat back in his chair.

"That's right, sir," Gion replied with a nod. "It was also reported that there was an incident between the Thunder Demon and Bellamy the Hyena in Jaya a week ago" he added.

"What happened?" Sengoku asked while raising an eyebrow.

"From what we gathered, Bellamy took one of the Thunder Demon crew members as a prisoner to avenge the Thunder Demon's attack on Bellamy," Gion explained causing the three to nod.

"What followed was a complete massacre of Bellamy's crew with Bellamy being the sole survivor" he added, causing their eyes to widen slightly.

"There are detailed reports from eyewitnesses on page 7" Gion added, causing everyone to turn to page 7 and read the eyewitness report.

"There's no way Bellamy could have survived after fighting Luffy" Garp said as he read the report.

"Oh no, not because he survived. But your grandson let her live as punishment" Gion said, causing the three of them to understand.

"Do we know why he's in Jaya?" Tsuru asked with a curious expression on her face.

"Reports say he was there to gather information about Sky Island," Gion replied, surprising everyone in the room.

"Do we know where he is now?" garp asked.

"There was no sign of the Thunder Demon appearing over the past week," he said, causing the Vice Admiral to laugh.

"I think he found the information he was looking for," said the carp, while his two friends nodded in agreement.

"Because we're talking about Vice Admiral's granddaughter," Gion said abruptly, drawing their attention once again. "I need to tell you that Angel of Death, Franklin D. Isaac has been spotted in the West Blue. I raised this topic, because it was recently reported that Isaac was now sailing under the Thunder Demon flag," Gion added, causing confused expressions to appear on all their faces.

"Why did the powerful pirates of the New World suddenly go to one of the 4 blues?" Tsuru asked with a curious expression on her face.

"We don't know," Gion said with a sigh. "All we know is that he was seen there" he added.

"Observe him," Sengoku said seriously. "I doubt he was there of his own accord. More like he was told to go there," Sengoku added, narrowing his eyes.

"Aye, sir!" gion answered while making a note to tell the reconnaissance division to continue stalking Isaac.

"Is there anything else to report?" Tsurby asked.

"What about the organization you reported earlier?" garp suddenly asked, causing his two friends to recall the matter.

"True, Hell's Company," Gion said as she flipped through several pages to find her report.

"Some Cipher Pol agents managed to infiltrate their organization in North Blue" Gion said, causing a slightly excited expression to appear on the faces of the two Vice Admiral and Fleet Admiral .

"However, they were unable to gather information about who exactly their leader named Asura was," he added with a sigh, making the expressions of those who were previously excited to be a little disappointed.

"You said North Blue, what about the other Oceans and the Grand Line?" Tsurby asked.

"Our genes can't merge," Gion replied, causing everyone to raise eyebrows. "The "branches of organizations in the other seas did not seem to accept anyone wanting to join them. Their way is more like looking for who they want to hire and then the target they are targeting will be offered a job," he said, making everyone sigh.

"Do we know anything new about this organization?" Sengoku asked.

"Well, it looks like they managed to get a deal with the new Sakura Kingdom, to become their only distributor of medicines," Gion replied, surprising the three older naval officers.

"There have been reports that hospitals of the four blues have already made reservations through this organization for world-renowned medicines from the Sakura Kingdom," Gion added causing everyone to nod their heads.

"Just a rumor, sir," Gion replied with another sigh. "Nobody knows for sure" he added.

"Let's hear this rumor," said the carp while sitting upright. Gion nodded before reading the paper in his hand for a few seconds before speaking to his 3 superiors.

"There are rumors that the Hell's Company is the one who supplied weapons to the rebels in Black Raven Kingdom who started the civil war" Gion said before she looked towards Fleet Admiral . "However, this can't be confirmed yet whether it's true or not" he added making them nod.

"I don't like this," Sengoku said with a sigh.

"I don't either" Tsuru added as she put the papers down and folded her hands.

"It is well known to the world government that the Underworld has been firmly awakened in the New World, but their reach does not extend to the Grand Line, but if the Grand Line does exist, it does exist, their community is not as complicated as the one in New World" he added, causing the two men in the room to nod in agreement.

"I think we should all prepare for a massive war," the garp suddenly said, attracting everyone's attention.

"And why do we have to do that, you idiot," Tsuru barked at Garp.

"There is no sign of war going to happen" Sengoku added as he stood from behind his desk.

"Think of this," said garp in a serious voice. "Under World is already standing firmly, and the people who run the Under World are all very strong in their own specialties" he added, narrowing his eyes.

"The person named Asura is a new player and he is growing at a very fast pace. I don't think the old players will like the fact that Asura took business from them" Garp explained, making everyone understand why he suggested they should prepare for war.

"It will be a war to control certain parts of the UnderWorld, or the entire Underworld organization will join forces to take all the Asura treasures" Tsuru said with a serious look on her face.

"And such a war is not a war that can be controlled," Sengoku said with a sigh.

"We can also use this to our advantage" Tsuru said, drawing everyone's attention. "We can use this war to infiltrate the Underworld to gain a better understanding of them" he added.

"Don't be too hasty" Sengoku replied as he sat back down. "For now, we should have gathered more information," he said causing everyone to nod.

"There's more to report, Gion?" he asked as he turned his attention to the Marine captain standing in the middle of the room.

"No sir!" Gion.

"Okay, please come back!" sengoku said, causing Gion to salute before starting to walk out of the room. "Why is this job never easy" he said, sighing tiredly and leaning back into his chair.

"What are you talking about?" garp asked with a big smile on his face. "It's an easy job! Ahahaha!" he said loudly, causing Sengoku and Tsuru to groan.

"That's because you didn't do anything!" yell at them both.

** With Straw Hats **

The sun had already set, and everyone was on the main deck, feeling extremely bored. Luffy had turned his throne into a beach chair and was lying staring at an octopus balloon.

Even he had to admit that this was very boring, he was just sitting around on deck waiting for the ship to reach the bottom.

"I don't think it's going to be long" Robin said of his position on the main deck.

"Can't it go down faster?" Nami asked while sighing in frustration.

"Is it just my feeling or does this balloon look smaller?" Sanji suddenly asked while staring at the octopus. Luffy then narrowed his eyes and looked at the octopus on it before his eyes instantly widened.

"The balloon's shrinking!" luffy loudly exclaimed, making everyone hear him, Luffy then immediately got up from his throne.

"It looks smaller than before" Nojiko said.

"Why do I have such a bad feeling about this" Usopp said in a frightened voice. Right after he said that, the octopus balloon deflated to become even smaller and then the ship plunged down at a faster speed.

"We fell too fast!" Nami screamed as she and everyone clung to something. Luffy positioned himself and spread his hands wide, causing a splash of listirk to dance around his fingertips.

Immediately, an enormous cloud of Luffy's call descended from the sky, the cloud instantly placing itself under the Going Merry.

The Going Merry was then above the clouds, but the ship continued to fall at the speed of the previous one. Luffy then clenched his fists tightly and then took a position like holding the ship with his body as if he was trying to lift the ship.

"AHHHHHHHHH!" Luffy shouted as he began to feel the weight of the ship. The ship started to slow down, but it still fell too fast.

"We're slowing down!" Chopper said happily.

"But we are still falling too fast" Nami said frantically as she leaned over to the side of the ship and stared down. "If we continue this way, we will hit the sea very hard and we will sink to the bottom!" he yelled.

"That is if this ship is not destroyed first" Robin said, causing Usopp's head to rise immediately.

"That won't happen as long as I'm still here" Usopp said as he pulled out a hook from his belt and attached it to the side of the ship before jumping down shocked everyone.

Usopp then went under the giant cloud and attached several wind dials on it. The wind dial was then immediately activated and slowed down the speed of the ship's fall drastically.

However, due to the extra load they carried, the speed at which they fell was still quite fast.

"Everyone, hold something!" Luffy yelled while trying to slow the ship down, while the rest of the crew pulled Usopp back up and prepared to clash with the sea.

Merry eventually falls and hits the water hard, destroying the clouds Luffy created, at the same time creating a huge wave that splashes to the side of the ship.

When the ship hit the water, the sound of something breaking on the ship could be heard by everyone, but they were all too busy trying to survive, to really notice the sound.

Their ship was swaying in the now surging water as the crew tried to get up from the floor.

"Is everyone okay?" Nojiko asked as she held her head and slowly stood up.

"Yes, just a little shaken," Nami replied as she stood up. When everyone got up and looked at Luffy, they all saw him breathing hardship while kneeling on the floor with sweat dripping from his face.

"You okay, captain?" Zoro asked, which one Luffy only gave a nod. Luffy then used the bit of strength he had to stand on his own before grabbing into his coat and taking out a bottle of whiskey and drinking it straight from the bottle until it was empty.

"I'm fine" said Luffy as he threw the bottle to the side. "Usopp, Chopper, you two check the lower deck to see the damage to the ship" he ordered in a tired voice.

"Aye Captain!" Usopp shouted back with a salute.

"You can count on us!" Chopper said in the form of his little deer.

"Nami," said Luffy to draw his attention.

"Take us to the next island," he said, causing Nami to nod. Luffy then walked back to his throne and flopped down on his throne. "I really need to have a ship that can fly," he said with a sigh, as he landed on his throne and then closed his eyes.
