After a good night's rest, Luffy was the first one to wake up, around 5:00 am and decided to take a walk in the village. Luffy walked for a while before stopping at one of the cliffs surrounding the south coast of the island.
He looked at the shady tree and sat under the tree and looked up at the sky while enjoying the peace and tranquility. Luffy's peace and tranquility were interrupted by two voices heard from the beach.
Wanting to find out whose voice it was, he stood up and then crawled to the edge carefully to make sure he was not seen or heard by anyone who was there. When Luffy reached the edge, he peered to see who it was, and it turned out that he saw Klahadore talking to a strangely dressed man.
"Is everything Jango ready?" Klahadore asked the man. Jango sat down on one of the nearby rocks before she answered Klahadore.
"Don't worry, everything will go according to plan ... Captain Kuro," Jango said causing Luffy to smile with satisfaction after finally finding out why the Butler looked so familiar.
"So, that's why you feel familiar," Luffy thought as he watched the two men. 'Captain Kuro-with-1000-plans .. It looks like I'll have some entertainment while we wait for the ship to finish, ' Luffy thinks like this in his heart. He comes out of his daydream when Kuro yells at Jango.
"Don't call me an idiot!" Kuro shouted, "I've long since given up that name," he said while confirming his glasses. Jango sighed before she stood up and spoke to Kuro.
"Good, Fine. Hurry up and signal that we can kill this rich girl and inherit her money" Jango said indifferently. Luffy could swear he saw smoke coming out of Kuro's ear when Jango said that.
"Bas an idiot, I can't get his inheritance because I don't have any family ties to him!" Kuro said before he arranged his glasses once more.
"Miss Rich needs to perish in an unexpected accident, but before she dies in that unfortunate calamity, 'I want you to hypnotize her and make her create a will that hands all her wealth to her butler, ' he said, Klahadore," Kuro said arrogantly. Jango sighed and sat down on one of the nearby rocks before she spoke again.
"Right, right," Jango said with a sigh. "Hurry up and signal, the crew is getting bored" he said with a sadistic grin on his face. Kuro looked at her for a while before she spoke again.
"There's something coming up that might be a hindrance to our plan," Kuro said making Jango look at him with raised eyebrows. "There's a boy right now in the village wearing a straw hat, I want you to avoid him and his men at all costs" Kuro said to Jango's surprise.
"Why?" that's all jango asked. Kuro looked at him with a serious expression on his face before he replied.
"She has a bond with one of the four Yonko," Kuro said making Jango's eyes widen. "I doubt he'll get involved with our plan because he's a pirate. However, if he intervenes I will deal with him," Kuro said before he turned to leave. Jango stood up and turned to leave as well but spoke for the last time before she left.
"Oh yes, I will have the children docked on the North coast at dawn to storm the village" he said before he left. Kuro did not answer what he said, he just left.
Luffy got up from his position on the ground and started returning to the village to tell the crew about what he had heard. After walking for a few minutes, he arrived at the inn and saw that everyone was awake and Usopp was already there.
Luffy then proceeded to tell them what he heard made Usopp run out of the Hotel to warn Kaya. Luffy looked at her and shook his head before speaking to the entire crew.
"Well, he's going to make his own heart break" Luffy said before he picked up a glass and poured whiskey for himself. Nami looked puzzled at Luffy's words.
"What do you mean?" Nami asked with a confused face. Luffy took a sip of whiskey before answering him.
"Usopp is famous around the village for being a liar. He would go tell Kaya, that the man her parents entrusted as his nurse was a pirate," Luffy said before he sipped his drink again and spoke again.
"So, what are you going to do, Captain," Zoro asked. Luffy downed his drink before he replied in a cold and deadly voice that gave the backbones of his two crew goosebumps.
"I owe it to Shanks and his crew that even I will never be able to repay. So, I'd be damned if I let a pirate from East Blue troublemaker on the island where Yassop's wife is buried," Luffy's words caused Zoro to grin while Nami showed a look of fear on her face.
The crew had spent the rest of the day making plans with Usopp who had returned heartbroken as Luffy had expected. The next day had arrived, and the entire crew woke up about an hour before dawn and headed to the North coast to wait for the pirates.
The group stood lined up on the top of the slope leading to the beach. Luffy stood there looking bored while Nami and Usopp looked frightened and Zoro looked excited.
Finally, the Black Cat Pirates docked at the beach and dozens of pirates came out of the ship and started running towards the village but stopped when they saw Luffy and his crew standing on the slope. One of the pirates turned to a man Luffy knew as Jango and spoke.
"Captain, there are a lot of boys here!" he said it caused Jango to look towards the slope. He looked at everyone at the top of the slope and when his eyes landed on Luffy's straw hat, he instantly turned pale and started sweating. He pointed at Luffy and spoke with a stutter.
"B-that boy!" he said make everyone see Luffy. "Captain Kuro said we should avoid fighting with him, but if we don't defeat him, we'll have to deal with Captain Kuro himself," he said in a frightened voice before he cleared his throat and shouted orders to his men,
"Everything! Kill them all, before the Captain gets angry!" it was his shout that caused all the pirates to attack the group. Luffy looked at Zoro and nodded causing him to pull out his sword and attack the group. Zoro began slashing pirates on the left, right, and center.
Usopp looked at Zoro with stars in his eyes while whispering something about 'very cool' when he saw Zoro's action. Jango saw his men falling like flies and then he turned to his ship and shouted.
"The sham! Buch! Come here now!" he shouted, and two other pirates came out of the ship. Jango then orders them to attack Zoro, causing the two of them to look at Zoro with fear. The two of them reluctantly attacked Zoro while saying how scared they were.
Suddenly their whole attitude changes to be bolder which makes the zoro realize that they are just pretending. Luffy watched as Zoro's 2 swords were taken from him causing Zoro to continue to hold on. Luffy then looked at Nami and Usopp and spoke.
"Nami, Usopp," he said caught their attention. "Go and reclaim Zoro's sword, otherwise he won't win," he said making them look at him in fear. Nami was about to protest but the look she got from Luffy caused her to swallow his words.
Luffy watched as Nami and Usopp ran down the hill towards Zoro's sword lying on the ground. Just as they were about to reach the sword, they were intercepted by Jango who was holding some kind of metal ring tied to a rope.
Jango then tries to hypnotize Nami and Usopp, but Nami manages to use her wand to hit Zoro's sword at her, before she and Usopp start fighting Jango. Luffy then turned his attention from Nami and Usopp to Zoro.
Luffy saw Zoro catch both of his swords before he started attacking again, however, he was still fighting against Sham and Buchi's stunning alternating attacks. Luffy then sees Buchi about to attack Zoro from behind when Zoro is too busy fighting Sham.
Luffy turned his body into lightning and teleported behind Buchi getting his attention. Luffy then coats his right palm with electricity and hits it with a bagiab behind his hand into the face of the buchi, thus throwing it flying down the slope, crashing into the head of their ship and penetrating up to the cabin of the ship.
"It is impolite to attack a swordsman from behind," Luffy said before he turned his head back to look at the extremely annoyed Kuro standing there, causing Luffy to smile.
"What's going on here!" Kuro's shout caused everyone to stop fighting and look at him.
