Chapter 43's

As they ran, a group of marines tried to attack them, but they were easily cleared up by Sanji and Zoro. As they ran through an unknown path to return to the ship, they saw a group of marines running towards them. "They're mine" said Luffy.

"Vortex Lighting!" Luffy shouted before he jumped forward and started spinning rapidly while at the same time releasing lightning from his body creating a huge vortex made of electricity heading straight towards the marine direction.

Lightning strikes the marines and begins drilling the road backwards while at the same time electrocuting many marines and sending the rest flying into nearby buildings.

When Luffy stopped his technique and stopped spinning, he stood in front of a large group of marine bodies lying in front of him, while on his sides were several unconscious marines that were hit by electrical waves.

Zoro and Sanji ran towards Luffy when they finally reached him, the three of them continued on their way towards the ship.

"That's really cool, captain," Sanji said while Zoro nodded.

"Yes, it was one of my non-lethal attacks" he said. As they ran they saw a girl standing in the middle of the road with a sword. Upon seeing her, Sanji began to tease the Woman.

Luffy looked at Zoro and saw that he was frowning towards the woman. The three of them stopped a few meters away from the girl.

"I didn't know that you were Roronoa Zoro and a pirate" he told Zoro while looking at him with hatred in his eyes.

"Your boyfriend Zoro?" Luffy asked. Zoro took out one of his swords before he replied.

"The two of you go to first I'll catch up," he said causing Luffy to nod and drag Sanji away as he yelled at Zoro. The two ran some distance down the street when they saw a man standing there in front of a motorcycle.

Luffy saw it and instantly knew that it was Smoker. The two stopped in front of Smoker and Luffy looked towards Sanji and spoke.

"Promise you to go first, I'll catch up," he said causing Sanji to nod before running past Smoker.

"I don't think it will happen" Smoker said with two cigars in his mouth. "This is the end of your journey, Monkey D. Luffy," he said as white smoke began to pour out from his body. Luffy chuckled and stared at the smoke before he spoke.

"I don't think yet. I have some sort of appointment with the Grand Line," Luffy said before electric blue sparks began to surround his body.

"You won't make it to the Grand Line unless you defeat me" Smoker said as smoke rose through his body.

"It sounds pretty easy" Luffy said. In the blink of an eye, Luffy was in front of Smoker with his fists pulled back and coated with haki which caused Smoker's eyes to widen.

'Very fast!' Smoker thought before Luffy clenched his fists into Smoker's stomach so he let out some air and spit a little. Smoker then bowed on the ground while panting.

While Smoker bowed on the ground, Luffy sent a kick into Smoker's head that rendered him unconscious. When Smoker collapsed unconscious, Luffy sighed and started walking towards the ship, but he suddenly stopped when he sensed something.

"Are you going out or staying in the shadows .. Dad," Luffy said before looking to the right, towards the dark alley. Out of the shadows, a man wearing a veil walked out and smiled at Luffy.

"So, you know who I am" Luffy's father said with a laugh. "It's nice to know your grandfather didn't turn you into a marine" she said, causing Luffy to chuckle.

"Well, can't say he didn't try," Luffy said causing his father to laugh. "But I think Shanks did a pretty good job with me," Luffy said to the man's surprise.

"About ten years," he said surprised his father. "Well I did spend a few years out of those ten years at another training ground, but most of the time I was with Shanks and his crew" Luffy said. His father seemed to think for a moment before he spoke.

"I think it's okay. Redhead wasn't a bad person .. Even if he drank too much, but it wasn't too bad," he said causing Luffy to laugh.

Luffy then reached into his coat and took out a small card and threw it towards his father who caught him.

"That's the phone number for my Den-Den Mushi" Luffy said, surprising his father. "Call me if you need help" he said before walking away. His father smiled before speaking.

"Surely," he said as he placed the card into his robe. After taking a few steps, Luffy stopped and narrowed his eyes as he stared in front of him before he spoke in a serious tone.

"Klan D has been hidden in the shadows of history for far too long," Luffy said gaining his father's attention and causing his father's face to become serious.

"I agree" he said, staring at Luffy's back.

"The time is near when we won't hide anymore" Luffy said before his body turned into lightning and he disappeared. Dragon stared at the spot where his son was standing, before starting to laugh, then he walked back into the dark alley.

Luffy teleported himself to the dock and saw the marines firing at his ship while Sanji, Zoro, and the bounty hunter duo were fighting the marines on the shore while Nami, Nojiko, and Usopp were trying to keep the ship from harm. Luffy sighed before he launched one of his attacks.

"Raging Thunder!" he shouted causing some lightning to descend from the sky and attack the marine. Luffy then summoned a cloud of lightning and leaped onto it before flying towards Zoro and the others for them to immediately ascend.

When everyone had boarded, Luffy ordered the cloud to fly onto the ship and land there. When everyone had already descended, Luffy turned the cloud into his throne and positioned it in its usual place before he started to shout out orders.

"Alright everything in front is the entrance to the Grand Line," Luffy said making them smile. "I think we should say something to mark this event" he said causing them to nod their heads.

Johnny and Yosaku went to the barn and brought a barrel of liquor and sat him in the middle of them all. Sanji was the first to set foot on the barrel and speak.

"I'm going to the Grand Line to find the All Blue" he said with a smile.

"I'll be the Pirate King!" Said Luffy while putting his foot on the barrel.

"The greatest swordsman in the world" Zoro said as he put his foot on the barrel.

"The most famous bounty hunter in the world" Johnny and Yosaku said as they put their feet in barrels. When they say that, everyone sees them funny before they just shrug their shoulders.

"I'm going around the world, so I can draw a map of the whole world" Nami said as she raised her foot.

"I will help my sister achieve her dream .. and keep her out of trouble," Nojiko said making everyone laugh while Nami groaned.

"And I'll be a brave warrior at sea" Usopp said before he put his foot on the barrel with the others.

"And now to the Grand Line!" Luffy said as they all raised their legs and smashed the barrel.
