** back with Luffy **
It had been two days since the Straw Hat left the island. Since then there has been nothing but good weather and a smooth cruise for all of them. They had several encounters with the marines and some other pirates, who were easily taken care of by the crew and happily added to their supplies.
In addition to the meeting, the crew enjoyed their relaxation time. Luffy was currently standing on the back deck of the Going Merry, looking at the clear blue sea. The other crews were scattered all over the ship, doing their own activities. As Luffy enjoyed the view, something fell from the sky and hit his straw hat, attracting his attention.
"Huh?" luffy said as he looked where the object had fallen, then realized that it was a piece of wood.
"Is it raining?" Luffy heard Zoro ask as more wood chips began to fall.
"No way, it's not rain" Sanji said before everyone decided to look up. When they all looked up, they all saw something that shocked them.
"Well, that's interesting" Luffy said as he saw what appeared to be part of the ship falling from the sky. "It looks like ... oh ****!" luffy exclaimed as he stared at the giant galleon that fell from the sky.
"Huh!?" the entire crew exclaimed simultaneously as they stared at the ship that had fallen towards a location quite close to Merry.
"Ohhhhhh!" everyone shouted as the ship got closer and closer to the surface of the water.
"Luffy do something!" Nojiko shouted while avoiding the falling debris.
"What should I do with it !?" Luffy shouted back, not knowing what to do. Luffy could slice it in half, but that would probably make the situation even worse. He could also blow it up, but the same result would befall them.
"Ohhhhhh!" They kept shouting as the galleon section fell right behind the Going Merry causing an enormous wave to form. Merry was swayed in all directions due to the resulting waves.
"Get hold on to something around you!" Shouted Zoro while holding the rear deck fence. "And whatever happens don't let go!" he added in a panicked voice.
"Why did a ship fall from the sky !?" Nami asked while holding the main pole.
"I don't know," Luffy replied as he used his strength to tether himself to the deck.
"Look up, I don't think the party's done yet!" Sanji shouted as he looked up at the sky and saw that there was still a lot of debris in the air. "They'll get to the bottom soon!" Sanji yelling.
"Driving! Spin wheel!" Nami shouted while looking at Zoro.
"The driver won't work on the waves like this!" Zoro yelled back. "Luffy, you have to protect the ship! Merry won't survive the wreckage!" Zoro shouted while looking at his captain.
"Well," Luffy replied with a nod, before he turned around and looked up with a flat expression on his face. Luffy then pulled his right hand back and pointed it at the sky before he shouted.
"El Thor!" luffy shouted as his fists hit into the air, towards the falling debris. Then from his hand appeared a huge lightning energy that shot straight up into the sky burning the debris that was about to fall onto the ship.
That gigantic lightning energy produced a bright white light that could be seen many kilometers away in the open ocean. It took about five minutes for the remaining debris to burn up, but once all was reduced to ashes, the entire crew was still standing on the main deck, trying to process what had just happened.
"Can someone explain to me why a strange ship fell from the sky?" Nami asked as she looked towards everyone in front of her, before her gaze locked onto Luffy.
"Don't look at me" said Luffy, raising his hand. "It was a very strange event even for the Grand Line" he added, while Robin nodded in agreement. "However, is it possible" said Luffy as he walked and looked up at the sky.
‘Is there a sky island above us?’ Luffy asked himself.
"Oh no!" Nami screamed in a panicked voice, which made Luffy walk out of her mind.
"What's up, Nami?" Sanji asked while looking towards their navigator.
"My log pose is broken" Nami replies while looking at the log pose tied to her wrist. When Luffy heard that his head immediately looked towards Nami with incredible speed with a worried look on his face.
"What?" Luffy asked while looking at Nami.
"This thing is broken," Nami replied as she raised her Log pose for Luffy to see. "This thing points to the sky," Nami added, causing Luffy to breathe a sigh of relief.
"Why are you even relieved !?" Nami shouted while looking at Luffy. "Our pose log is broken and now we're stranded here, in the middle of the Grand Line!" Nami screamed, causing Luffy to stare at her with a cold expression on his face, which made Nami slightly jerk in shock.
"First, the Log was not damaged" said Luffy to surprise Nami. "And secondly, if it is damaged it will be your responsibility because you are the navigator of this ship" Luffy added coldly.
"Mrs. Captain's right," Robin said trying to distract Luffy from Nami. "The log pose is not broken, it simply captures the magnetic field of an island with a strong magnetic pull, and the needle of the Log pose reflects that," robin added, causing the crew to look at Robin strangely.
"If the needle is pointing towards the sky .. then that means ..." Robin was silent while looking up at the sky.
"You're right" said Luffy, drawing all of their attention. "It points to one of the Sky islands" Luffy said, causing all their eyes to widen.
"They really exist?" Robin asked, which Luffy answered with a nod. "I just heard stories about them. But I never thought that it really existed" Robin said in a surprised voice looking up at the sky.
"Don't be silly" Nojiko said, looking at Luffy and Robin. "There can't be an island in the sky" he said causing Luffy and Robin to chuckle.
"I told you, logic can't be used to explain the Grand Line" Luffy said, staring at his crew. "There is not only an island above us, but also an ocean" added Luffy, surprising them all.
"No way," Nami said as she looked up.
"I'm still confused," Sanji added, causing Luffy to chuckle.
"You've all been up my clouds before, I don't understand why it's hard for you to believe this" Luffy replied with a laugh.
"Do you know which sky island is above us?" Usopp asked.
"No, they move continuously so it's impossible to figure it out" Luffy replied, before a smile began to creep up on his face. "It looks like our next stop is Sky Island!" luffy said as he slightly raised the volume of his voice.
"Yeahh!" Shouted Usopp and Chopper happily.
"Ummm, how did we get there?" Chopper asked, causing a smile to disappear from Luffy's face.
"There are two ways of what I remember" said Luffy and began to think. "One of them went up to the Summit of the High West, but that would probably cause some of us to die" Luffy casually said, causing all his crew to turn pale.
"Another way is to use Knock up Stream, that way is much safer," added Luffy, making them sigh in relief.
"And where's this knock-up stream?" Nami asked while looking at Luffy.
"I don't know," Luffy replied with a shrug of his shoulder, causing them all to fall onto the deck.
"Why can't you know ?!" they were all shouting/questioning at the same time.
"I usually fly there straight away" Luffy replied.
"Then just fly us up there" said Zoro, causing everyone to nod.
"First, it was cheating," Luffy replied, causing them to sweat. "Second, I can't lift this whole ship. Who do you think I am, Whitebeard?" Luffy asked in an annoyed tone.
"So, how do we get there?" Nami asked, causing Luffy to put his finger on his chin and start thinking. His eyes glanced here and there looking for something that would give a clue to how they could find the Knock Up Stream.
"I know" said Luffy as his eyes stopped on the wreckage of the ship that was slowly beginning to sink to the bottom of the ocean. "We're going to look at the debris as much as we can before it sinks to the bottom of the ocean" Luffy said, pointing to the sinking ship.
"That makes sense" Robin said, nodding. "The ship doesn't seem to be a pirate ship, so we should look for a captain's note or something like that" Robin added, and Luffy nodded his head, signaling his agreement.
"Well, what are you waiting for?" Luffy asked while looking at his men. "If you're not a Devil Fruit eater, dive in and check out that ship!" Luffy ordered, causing them to immediately get ready to go to the sinking ship.
Nami snorted and grumbled as she walked towards the edge of the Going Merry. "Who knows, there may be treasure in the ship" Luffy said with a grin as he looked at Nami. As soon as Nami heard that she immediately jumped off the ship and started swimming towards the rubble.
