CHAPTER 93 - My Heart Is Always His

During his time in Canada, Mickey entrusts Rayn's treatment to Dr. Leona. He was very hopeful of Rayn's recovery. Although Dr. Leona can't promise what Mickey wants, but she will try her best and won't let him down.

"Then what about your uncle?" ask Dr. Leona discusses the man who was the reason Mickey returned to Canada.

"Tomorrow, Arka and I will go to the orphanage in town A. The Orphanage where my father grew up before he was adopted. I don't have any leads other than that orphanage." Mickey replied.

Honestly, Mickey doesn't know much about his uncle's life. Mickey's late mother never told much about his father's twin brother. Even Mickey had only met once and from that meeting he only found out if his father had identical twin brothers.

"Didn't you want to ask Mr. Charles for help? It's a very young job for him" Dr. Leona.

"What do you think would happen if Mr Charles found out? Without a deeper investigation, I believe Mr. Charles will instantly obliterate his life. But beyond that reason, I'll solve the case myself. No matter who he is, I will make him get the payback for all his deeds. Whatever it takes, I'll make him regret it for the rest of his life" Mickey said with an angry look.

"Wahh. The look in your eyes gives me goosebumps. Don't say that because it doesn't suit you. You've always been cold with women, but you're not a gangster or a member of the mafia" Dr. Leona rubbed her arm with goosebumps.

Mickey just smiled faintly at Dr. Leona. They ended the conversation and continued to enjoy the dishes they had neglected.

The Friends Cafe.

Lusia had just arrived at the Cafe for work. As long as there is no Ark, Rayn does not let Lucia bring her own car. Rayn's gonna take Lucia to the cafe.

Lucia got out of the car after saying a brief goodbye with Rayn. Along with him who got out of the car, Kelvin also got off his car which had been parked next to Rayn's car.

Seeing Kelvin's whereabouts, Lucia immediately stepped up to him to enter the Cafe together.

"Lussia" called Rayn to stop Lucia from waving to say hello to Kelvin.

Lucia turned her head and went back to Rayn's car, standing right in front of Rayn's side door that had opened her glass window.

"What's wrong?" ask Lucia.

"Close!" rayn ordered as if he was going to whisper something.

Lucia brought her face closer, she was ready to hear what Rayn wanted to say to her. Lucia's slow movement due to doubt made Rayn extend one hand to hold onto Lucia's face. He briefly kissed the aunt of the woman he loved.

Lucia rounded her eyes at Rayn's attitude. "What are you doing?" tanyanya realized if she was in the parking lot right in front of the cafe.

"I need strength without you for some time to come" he said with a smile.

Lucia blinked her eyes repeatedly, she immediately left Rayn to enter the Cafe in a confused manner. But, in his first step he was so surprised when he saw Kelvin was still there watching the two, and that meant he saw what Rayn had just done.

"Ke...Kelvin.." call Lucia in a panic.

The flat-face look with Kelvin's shady gaze instantly changed, he smiled at Lucia. "I'll be a little busy, you can go up to see me if the store is closed" he said, leaving Lucia first.

Lucia simply nodded and let Kelvin go. He looked back at Rayn's car. "Whether he did it on purpose because there was Kelvin or indeed he had become bucin." Lucia grumbled her eyes at Rayn's car moving out of the Cafe.

"Hi Kak Lusia" said Dave. "Did Lucy meet Mr Kelvin up front? What's with his face, creepy. Unlike usual who always greeted us, this time Mr. Kelvin immediately went up to his room with a strange look" complained Dave.

"Haha, really?" tanya Lucia laughed. "But I don't know Dave either" continued Lucia staring up at the stairs to climb into Kelvin's private room on the 4th floor.

Late at night, the cafe was closed. Since coming, Kelvin has absolutely nothing coming down from his room on the 4th floor. Recalling Kelvin's message asking him to meet her, Lucia immediately finished her work and went up to the 4th floor.

Lusia tampa wiggly peeked at a room that was walled in glass on the rooftop of the 4th floor. He's looking for Kelvin who's not seen in his desk chair.

"Can't you just knock on the door?" asked Kelvin who suddenly appeared behind him staring at the attitude of Lucia who behaved like a thief.

"Oh, I thought you were inside" said Lucia, surprised by the awkward laughter forced on her.

"Come in, I'll make you some coffee" Kelvin said as he opened the door and entered.

"I'll be waiting for you outside" said Lucia as she pointed at the bench outside.

Lusia has not enjoyed the fresh air on the balcony of friends cafe. Yes, of course because it's not a free place for anyone to go to without Kelvin's permission. The balcony is filled with so many types of beautiful plants and flowers that it makes it a very comfortable place to relax. Especially at night, sitting with glittering stars in the sky when the weather is clear.

"Why not just inside, outside the cold you can catch a cold" said Kelvin approached Lusia with 2 cups of coffee in his hand.

"But I love the air and it's so comfortable" said Lucia smiling stiffly.

"You asked me to see you, what's wrong?" tanya Lucia doesn't want any more pleasantries.

Since Lucia knows how Kelvin feels about her, she makes herself feel awkward every time she is with Kelvin. I don't know why it's so hard to be as relaxed as a friend as ever. Lucia is now more careful in speaking and acting in front of Kelvin. He doesn't want misunderstandings or anything that could hurt Kelvin's feelings.

"I'm going to open a new branch in City A, so I'm going to be more busy there and I plan to ask you to help take care of everything with me" Kelvin said.

"New branch?" asked Lucia who had just heard of the plan for the first time. "Why should I? and if so then it means I have to." said Lucia. He stopped speaking because he hesitated to continue.

"Eemm. You have to move, but don't worry I'll provide you with a decent place to live and transport."

"Providing everything in particular only makes me more worried" inner lusia.

For an ordinary employee like him, getting guarantees and special facilities actually made him worried because it would be like a burden for him. That special treatment will make him uncomfortable.

"Sorry, I'm very grateful for the opportunity and the offer. But, I'm not sure if I deserve it. Maybe you can ask Vhia as a much more experienced staff than me. He'll help you more. I can help you to handle the Cafe that is here" said Lucia.

Kelvin fell silent, then looked up at the glittering sky. Kelvin rests both hands on a minimalist fence trellis made of stainless steel and glass. "Why? Does anything make it difficult for you?" tanyakanya.

"That's.." said Lucia staring at Kelvin.

"Is it because of that guy? Or, do you need to get permission from him?" ask Kelvin.

"Even though he allowed me but I still can't leave him" Lucia said.

Kelvin looked at Lucia with his shady netra, a sweeping gaze capable of swaying the female defense. A gaze that described his feelings, who would not be lethargic with that gaze.

"Are you sure of how you feel about her? Isn't it just because you're used to it?" asked Kelvin firmly.

"Didn't you call me to discuss the cafe?" cut Lucia diverted her conversation. He began to feel that Kelvin had been swept away in his personal feelings.

"You seem to only care about him. I can ignore a lot of women for you, but why can't you just ignore one man for me." Kelvin muttered looking at Lucia.

"I'm sorry Kelvin" said Lucia.

"The reason for the rejection that hurts my heart" said Kelvin Lirih

"Kelvin" call Lucia.

Kelvin changed his serious face with a faint smile. "Don't worry, I'll set my own heart but you need to know if I can't let go of that feeling. I have no right to force you to return my feelings. But, you also have no right to prevent me from falling in love with anyone, even if it is you" he said.

"I don't want any misunderstandings and don't want to make our relationship turn grey. Do you want to shake me?" ask Lucia.

"Maybe it wiggles you or.." Kelvin said, then stopped his speech.

Kelvin stared at Rayn's car that had just come and parked down there. "Or maybe shake it" he continued inwardly.

"Kelvin.." said Lucia, he could only say that name without knowing what else to say.

"Do I really have no place in your heart?" ask Kelvin.

"How can you ask that question while you also know that my heart is fully owned by someone else" Lucia said.

Kelvin stretched out his hand as if he was about to touch Lucia's face. Slowly the hand got closer and made Lucia stunned. Lucia does not want her relationship with Kelvin to be broken just because of her feelings. Lucia has great respect and respect for Kelvin as a friend and person who has contributed a lot in his life.

Kelvin broke down a smile after grabbing a small leaf in Lucia's hair. The smile made Lusia smile with relief because Kelvin was not trying to do something to him. The two looked at each other and broke each other's smiles, but not with Rayn down there who was staring at the two up there earlier.

Kelvin glanced at Rayn down there, while Lucia, who was standing on her back against the balcony trellis, did not notice Rayn's presence. Kelvin's gaze showed that he had intentionally done it for Ryan to see.

"I think this is enough to make you anxious after what you did this morning" Kelvin said in his heart as he looked at Rayn, smiling back at Lucia.

The position of Lucia and Kelvin looks like a pair of lovers who are mingling love. Even Kelvin's helping hand as he grabbed the leaf looked as if he was gently stroking Lucia's head.

Rayn's sharp eyes showed that what she was currently seeing had damaged her mood. Something had slipped in his heart and squeezed him mercilessly. That feeling began to create grievances and foolishness in his mind. Maybe Rayn is jealous, but she doesn't realize that everything she really needs is on her.

"You know I love you, I also know you love me. But why does it hurt so much when I've done my best to keep that feeling, but it's still not enough to weaken and shake me" Rayn's mind then closed his eyes.
