CHAPTER 92 - The Line of Destiny

Canadas, canadas,

One of the most famous restaurants serving up Quebec delights and considered one of the most romantic restaurants in town, Mickey sits alone. At the table where he sat was presented the dish he had ordered for two people. It has been a week since he returned to his native country.

Not long after, Mickey waved to a beautiful woman who walked up to him after seeing a wave of his hand. Mickey smiled at the woman sitting right in front of him.

"We haven't been here in a long time, and you still remember our favorite menu" Dr. Leona stared at the food that had been served on the table.

Dr Eyes. Leona looked around the restaurant, she still looked amazed despite the years that passed but the atmosphere and luxurious concept of the restaurant did not change.

The restaurant is famous for using products from its own restaurant organic garden to serve fresh and seasonal ingredients. Its elegant dishes tell the story of their French-Canadian heritage. Being in a beautiful environment, overlooking the river, and with gourmet prowess. Even the restaurant spoils its loyal visitors with a good bottle of 12,000 Panache wines, all of which are kept in its wine cellar and offer an impressive 700 labels from different countries.

"Have you got any leads from Dr. Daniel?" mickey asked without further ado to ruin Dr. Nostalgic daydreams. Leona.

"Don't you feel too cruel? I was just talking about noslatgia but you've dropped me back on the job" said Dr. Leona with her eyes narrowed in annoyance.

"There's no time for me to relax" Mickey said.

"All right, all right, I get it. A cruel man like you deserves to be single. Why do I feel like I have a little regret about taking your call. Bright weather accompanied by the sun at this time, maybe I should be able to enjoy relaxing by sunbathing on the beach" said Dr. Leona stared at the clear sky behind the glass wall next to her.

Dr. Leona quipped Mickey's attitude because he had missed his leisure time just to meet the call of the cruel man who was currently sitting in front of him. Yes, cruel man is a designation that is considered very appropriate by Dr. Leona for a Mickey who never considered the hearts and feelings of women.

"I'm sorry" Mickey said briefly.

"No problem, hearing you say sorry is enough. At least you have understood and digested my complaint, which means you realize what you have to fix from this cold attitude now" said Dr. Leona parsed a smile.

Maybe for other women who are new to Mickey will feel Mickey's cold attitude is intolerable, but not for Dr. Leona has known Mickey for a long time.

"After presenting all this to you, do I still look cold in your eyes?" ask Mickey.

"Hahaha, your question surprised me, giving me goosebumps. Ok, let's discuss what you want to hear from me" said Dr. Leona to Mickey.

"He didn't even ask me" continued Dr. Leona in her heart as she sipped the Panache wine.

"When you told me that you might have found the trigger, was there any progress?" ask Mickey.

"As I thought before, what I'm worried about is happening and it's getting more complicated now" Dr. Leona again grabbed the wine, sipped and sighed.

"The trigger is Ryan's own mother, Mrs Angelina" he continued in a heavy tone.

"What did you say? How could that be?" cut Mickey.

"Mrs Angelina was the one who gave Rayn indirect suggestions when she was under stress and panic. Lady Angelina's request, which is obsessed with Rayn's painting skills, asks Rayn to protect her hand, which is the trigger" said Dr. Leona.

Rayn's mother's request received Rayn as an order. At the same time, Rayn is under increasing pressure because she is unable to protect and save her mother's life. All of these events shaped Rayn's phobia so that she not only let others touch her hands but also touch her.

"What should we do with it?" ask Mickey seriously.

"That's why I said it would be more complicated. We have not been able to propose Abreaction techniques because phobias caused by traumatic experiences are more difficult to eliminate. It can even elicit Spontaneous Abreaction, which exacerbates trauma when we cannot control its strong emotional release while on a hypnotic trigger" Dr. Leona says.

"Then?" ask Mickey.

"Lussia?" mickey asks what his relationship with Lucia is.

"Dr. Daniel is still in Germany, waiting for Dr. Daniel's back, I'm going home to go back to hypnosis with Rayn. This time not to bring him back to his phobic trigger but to the time he meets Lucia"

"Does Lucia have a bond that could help her heal?" ask Mickey.

"From the beginning I've been suspicious of the bond between Rayn and Lucia. Why Lucia being the only person Rayn accepted even made her not receive a reaction. I've proposed this with Rayn before, but she rejected it. He had an acceptable reason given his relationship with Lucia now. But, I'm sure that Lucia can be the only person who can open the gate of trauma with the key we have" said Dr. Leona.

"What is possible." said Mickey then stopped saying because he was hesitant.

"If you understand, maybe you'll think the same way as me" Dr. Leona looked at Mickey.

Dr. Leona stared more intently at the bead of Mickey's eyes waiting for her to continue her stifled speech. "There must be something to do with Mrs. Angelina who Rayn has found in Lucy" continued Dr. Leona looked back at the blue sky.

Mickey broke down a smile at the corner of his lips. "It looks like Mrs.Angelina has sent Lucia to Rayn. The two of them seem to have been outlined to be together" he said. "But I still don't understand, in their first meeting, I still remember Rayn having a reaction to Lucia" he continued.

"They've met and Rayn can't touch her either?" ask Dr. Leona.

Mickey confirmed it, he told Dr. Leona if Lucia and Rayn had met before. Rayn's meeting with Lucia at David's Galery was not the first time they had met each other. Lucia is a pigtailed girl who helped Rayn the first time she moved. In fact, in a short meeting at that time Rayn also could not touch Lucia. But everything is different when they meet back in Galery, Lucia suddenly becomes the only person who can touch Rayn.

"What should we do if it's true that Lucia is the one who can open that gate?" ask Mickey.

"If that's true, then the only way we are forced to do for healing is through the Flooding technique" said Dr. Leona.

"Flooding?" mickey sahut.

"If only Mrs. Angelina is still in this world, maybe we can cure her with easier techniques and do not need to use extreme means, but...." Dr. Leona stopped her words.

"What do you mean Flooding is the extreme way?" ask Mickey.

Flooding is a method that can be said to be extreme but actually does not harm the patient. But specifically for the case of Rayn who experienced trauma at the time of the accident it will be different.

Dr. Leona gives Mickey a brief understanding of how Flooding is a phobia healing technique with the main goal of eliminating fear by directly presenting sources of fear or stimuli such as objects and situations for a certain period of time, until the patient realizes that his fear did not occur.

"Directly present the source of fear? What do you mean we're gonna bring him back to repeat the incident in person?" mickey asked round his eyes with that extreme technique.

"Eemmm" replied Dr. Leona just with a mutter.

Bring Rayn back to repeat the incident and make Lucia as a replacement for Ny. Angelina is a crazy thing that Mickey never imagined. He was not sure if Rayn would approve it much less Lucia had currently become his lover. Putting a loved one in danger is the dumbest thing in his opinion. If they fail or make a mistake it will make Rayn repeat the sad event for the second time.
