CHAPTER 75 - I Love You Lusia
The night was getting late, Lucia was still not sleeping in her room. After a few days, Lucia's legs had improved and healed. As he was preoccupied with his cell phone suddenly came the sound of someone shaping the door of his room.
“Are you asleep?” rayn asked from outside after knocking on the door.
Lucia got up from her seat and opened the door for Rayn. Rayn stood in front of the room with a lethargic face. “I'm hard to sleep, I want to get some fresh air, you want to come out with me?” ask Rayn. “I want to go somewhere” he continued.
Lucia glanced at the clock on the wall of her room, the time already showing at 23:30 p.m. Although Lucia knew this was already very late at night, of course she would never refuse Rayn's request. Lucia agreed, she went to get her jacket and they went out to get some fresh air.
Lucia glanced around looking for someone. “Where's Arka?” ask Lucia who did not see Arka.
“Intalah, if there is any I also do not want him to follow us” said Rayn while holding Lucia's hand.
Lucia followed Rayn and they went for a walk not far from Villa. “You said you want to get some fresh air and go somewhere, then where are we going just on foot like this?” ask Lucia.
Lucia stopped her footsteps when Rayn said they were close to her goal. Lucia hesitated and asked as Rayn asked her to continue walking into a pitch-black street. There is only a small amount of illumination from the main street lights.
“Where do you want to take me?” ask Lucia.
Rayn let go of his hand, he stepped first into the path and then stopped and stood before Lucia. Rayn extended her hand to Lucia.
Lucia fell silent, she did not want to put any suspicion on Rayn but it was inevitable that she started to feel afraid. It was already midnight, Rayn invited him to explore the path surrounded by pine forest without any lighting. Lucia was sure that Rayn was not drunk either. Rayn was very fully aware, there was no way she would have any intentions towards him.
Lucia's mind started to wildly recall a few days earlier, Rayn teasing her with the first night word Rayn had spoken last time while they were in the Hospital.
“What is he really this aggressive person? Even he invited me into the dark streets with a face so calm” murmured Lucia inwardly.
“Do you not believe me?” rayn asked, opening his voice. He still extended his hand for Lucia to reach.
“Rayn told me if he wasn't a bad guy, I believe he wouldn't touch me before we inaugurated him like he once said. Although he has stolen my lips several times without permission, but I am sure he is a man I can trust” continued Lucia said in her heart reassuring her feelings before reaching for Rayn's hand.
Lucia slowly grabbed Rayn's hand. Rayn smiled, she immediately grabbed him and invited Lucia to follow him and continue walking together.
Lucia swallowed her saliva, and then began to step her first foot. Like a magic in a fairy tale world, a lighting lamp lit up along with his footsteps.
With a face full of confusion, Lucia frowned thinking about what was really going on. Lucia continued to step on her feet and other lighting lights came on. The lights continued to light up one by one along with the steps of both of them. Rayn smiled looking at Lucia's expression. That fearful face now seemed to turn into astonishment.
“Why did this happen? Is there a specific sensor?” lusia asked watching every lamp she had passed.
Rayn simply answered with a smile at Lucia's question, she continued to hold Lucia's hand and guide her steps toward the place she wanted to go.
They're about to get to where Rayn meant. Something unexpected happened, suddenly all the lighting lights went out simultaneously. It makes the streets dark again. Lucia immediately shouted, she stopped her steps, pulled Rayn's hand and hugged her.
“Why suddenly everything dies? Would we better just go back?” asked Lucia who was still hugging Rayn. He tried to feel the phone in his jacket pocket to be able to give light.
“We have arrived, where might I take you back now” Rayn said.
Only the voice of the second conversation was heard between the darkness of the pine forest. Rayn grabs both of Lucia's hands to release her embrace.
“What are you doing Rayn? I'm so scared.”
Lucia refused to let go of her embrace. He hugged Rayn tighter because he could see nothing but Rayn's body in his arms.
Rayn stared at her flaming watch. “I think it's time, I'll show you the beauty Rayn whispered in Lucia's ear.
Lucia opened her eyes, she saw a light behind her. The light shone so bright that he could see the shadow of himself and Rayn behind Rayn's body that he still embraced. Lucia slowly started to let go of her embrace and turned to see what light was shining so brightly behind her.
Dervilium….
Rayn at midnight took Lucia to Villa Dervilia, which was decorated with lights like a starry night atmosphere. Star lights hung on the walls of the Villa and the small trees around it. The lights flashed twinkling alternately giving an atmosphere that reflected the night sky.
Very beautiful scenery of various sizes of charyball lights with colorful background. The stairs of the Villa are filled with three-dimensional lights from beautiful glass glasses. Not only that, so many glass lanterns contain small charyball lights inside. The glass lanterns are placed in any corner along with a vase containing a variety of fresh flowers.
Rayn climbed up the steps of Villa leaving Lucia still looking amazed at what she saw. Rayn then went back to Lucia with a bouquet of red roses that strung beautifully in her hand. Rayn stood right in front of the woman she loved so much.
With a loving gaze Rayn thrust the flower at Lucia. Rayn has everything ready to celebrate Lucia's first birthday for Rayn.
"Rayn..” says Lucia full day.
Lucia's eyes began to glaze over with a happy smile. “How can you know..?” ask her by receiving a bouquet of flowers from Rayn.
Lucia felt very moved by what Rayn had prepared to celebrate her birthday. This was like a dream to him, even he still asked in his heart if this was real?.
During this time Lucia never dared to dream of getting romantic treatment in her life. For him it is enough with the presence of Rayn that will complement every beautiful memory in his memory. Lucia never expected more, enough with Rayn always being on her side.
“Thank you, thank you Rayn” he said starting to shed his tears.
Rayn approached, wiping away the tears that began to wet Lucia's cheeks with both of her hands. “I hope these are your tears of happiness Lusia” said Rayn.
Rayn looked at Lucia with a warm look. “I've never said it well all this time. I should have said it to you first” he said.
“I love you Lusia.”
Hearing those beautiful words spoken from Rayn's lips, made Lusia's heart happy. He smiled at Rayn with teary eyes.
That smile, Lucia's beautiful smile when looking at Rayn was a beauty that made Rayn's heart more turbulent. He no longer wanted to hold back and missed the beauty that now filled his entire view.
Rayn, who was still holding onto both of Lucia's cheeks, slowly brought her face closer. Lucia could feel the warmth of Rayn's breath on her face. He could see Rayn's sincerity from Rayn's eyes.
Lusia's heart was gurgling, he started to squeeze the bouquet of flowers he was holding. The man's face drew closer, causing Lucia to close her eyes.
Rayn buried her lips on Lucia's. He kissed the red lips with tenderness. Although this was not the first time, Lucia felt that the kiss Rayn was currently giving was different. Rayn looked back at Lucia's face which slowly opened her eyes.
“I love you too Rayn. You know.. I'm very, very..., very sneaky...” not until Lucia finish her words, her lips are immediately locked by Rayn's kiss again.
Lucia slowly began to move her hands around Rayn's body, even still with the bouquet of flowers she was still holding. This is the most beautiful birthday of his life, a new color will present a man who sincerely loves him.
Under millions of stars as well as the soft light of the moon that shines brightly adds to their romantic evening. Lucia began to return the kiss accompanied by tears that drenched her cheeks.
