CHAPTER 71 - The Suffering of Little Mickey

At the elementary school where Rayn received her first education. That day was Rayn's first meeting with Mickey. A teacher enters her class with a gloomy and quiet boy.

“Come kids, all back to your seats. Today we have a new friend. Mickey, you can introduce yourself to those who will be your new friends starting today” said a teacher.

Rayn used to be alone in class every lunch hour, but now she's with Mickey. That's why Rayn's been paying more attention to Mickey. Until finally Rayn asked her mother to bring 2 provisions for her. Where's the one thing he's gonna give Mickey. Rayn knows that Mickey is not hungry, but he who is very quiet is reluctant to be among other friends.

Rayn ended up being the only child who spent more time with Mickey. Although Mickey often ignores or rejects his invitation, it does not make Rayn unyielding to make Mickey can blend in with himself or others.

“If it hurts you have to say it hurts, don't hold it” said Rayn by forcefully pulling Mickey's back shirt, she opened it to see if Mickey had any serious injuries because of the ball.

It's shocking what Rayn saw on Mickey's body. Mickey's body is not only full of bruises and bruises, but many scars from blunt force hits and minor burns.

“A... what is.... happening with your body?” rayn asked surprised, even he did not smoothly say the question.

“I told you, I'm fine” replied Mickey lowering his shirt and stepping away.

“We have to go to doctor” get Rayn to pull Mickey's hand.

Mickey refuses, instead walking away from Rayn to his class. Rayn's after Mickey. “That's a terrible wound” said Rayn asking Mickey to stop.

“I am the one who has this wounded body, I know and I can feel whether I am fine or not. Don't mind me, and I never want to have friends. Stop following me or taking me to play”, Mickey replied, continuing to leave Rayn. Rayn stared silently at Mickey who left her.

Even at home Rayn still feels unsettled, he continues to think about what might cause Mickey to have a terrible wound on his body. Rayn wanted to tell this to her mother, but she hesitated. Rayn is afraid that her mother is anxious and forbids her from interfering, especially if her father finds out.

A week went by and that day was already the 4th day Mickey did not attend school. Rayn asks Mickey to his teacher. The teacher said Mickey's parents asked for permission to leave because they had to go out of town because there was an urgent matter.

Rayn's getting worried, she asks Mickey for a home address. Rayn asked her personal driver to drive her to the address before returning home.

Rayn had arrived and stood right in front of Mickey's house, hesitating to ring his doorbell. A bodyguard assigned by Rayn's father to guard him approached Rayn. “What Young Master sure wants to visit?” tanyakanya.

Rayn responded with a nod, and the bodyguard helped her ring the bell. The bell was rung 4 times, until someone opened the door from the inside.

“Who are you and what are you here for?” ask a man after opening the door. He seems unhappy with Rayn's arrival and his bodyguard.

The man was large and stocky, even smelling the smell of alcohol from his mouth while speaking. Realizing that the man in front was drunk, the bodyguards grabbed Rayn's hand and held her. He shifted Rayn's body to be behind him.

“He wants to visit his friend, and from the address we got this house..” said the bodyguard.

“No child his age lives here, quickly go!” the man's orders cut off the words of Rayn's unfinished bodyguard.

“Mother….!!! I woke up” shouted a child with a sob from inside the house.

Rayn who recognized that it was Mickey's voice, her small body immediately ran through the big man. The man was upset with Ryan, he ran after Rayn in and grabbed the bag on Rayn's back.

Guards immediately ran in after shouting calling the driver who was standing next to the car waiting for them “Mr. Louis... “ yells while running in.

“Basic brat, where are you” said the big man by slamming Rayn's body to the floor when he managed to reach Rayn's bag.

Rayn was thrown and fell down right next to the body of an unconscious woman with blood on her head.

Rayn who was in pain from the wound on her head immediately became silent at what she saw. His trembling hands tried to grab the woman's body. The man again approached Rayn to continue his action, but the bodyguard immediately saved Rayn by kicking the man's back down. Mr. Louis, their driver ran in and saw what was going on.

The bodyguards immediately grabbed Rayn's body and protected her. Rayn's driver took a picture of the man and immediately contacted the police and made a medical emergency. The man grabbed a nearby wheelchair and threw it at Mr. Louis who was standing in front of the door blocked his way to escape.

Mr. Louis avoided throwing a wheelchair at him, so it was an opportunity for the man to get out of the house and escape.

“Young Master, you okay?” ask the bodyguard by holding Rayn's body. “Quick prepare the car and buhungi Mr. Charles if we will take him to the hospital now” his order to the driver.

“Wait..” says Rayn.

Rayn forced herself to stand up. Rayn did not care about the wound on her head that also shed blood. “I'm fine” Rayn told bodyguards. He walked over to Mickey.

“Mother... wake up, mother please open your eyes mother. Mom don't leave me mom” cried Mickey sobbing. She kept crying for her unconscious mother.

With trembling legs, Rayn walked up to Mickey. “Please save my mom” Mickey said by grabbing Rayn's legs and pleading. He even sang and continued to beg Rayn.

"I beg you to save my mother" Mickey said in tears.

“Quick call for help, we have to take his mother to hospital” orders Rayn by shouting to her bodyguard and driver.

Rayn grabs Mickey's body and embraces him. “They will save your mother, don't cry. Look at you also injured” Ryan said seeing Mickey also had some new wounds on his face.

A very sad and heart-wrenching sight. Mickey's unconscious mother was lying on the floor with wounds to her head and all over her body. While his son Mickey, can only cry calling his mother and keep trying to wake her up.

Mickey seemed to feel no pain at all in his body that was getting full of wounds. She just kept crying and begging her mother to be saved.

It's all from that guy, the guy who just ran away is Mickey's real dad. Mickey's father was a heavy drinker and an acute gambler. Every time he loses a game, he vents his anger at Mickey and his mother. He always yells if those who bring misfortune so always lose in gambling.

All for the sake of his mother, he was sure that one day his father would get karma and he could take his mother away. All little Mickey could do all this time was survive.
