CHAPTER 77 - Who He Is (Part2)

On his birthday, instead of getting a surprise from Reisa, he even got a long talk from his best friend. So many questions were thrown Reisa, their excitement continues to take place in Lusia's room by enjoying the tart that Reisa brought up to approach the working time of Lusia at the cafe.

If Lucia doesn't have to work soon, maybe their conversation won't end until tomorrow. Reisa finally decides to drive Lusia to work at the Cafe, because Rayn says that she will pick Lucy up later.

Arriving at the Cafe, Lucia entered the Cafe while sending a message to Rayn if she has arrived. Suddenly he is startled by Dave and the other staff who approach him with tarts and sing happy birthday songs for him.

Even though Cafe visitors were not crowded, the surprise still attracted attention and some of them recorded it. Plus the surprise was headed by Dave, one of the idols at Friend's Cafe. Dave and the others presented a bouquet of flowers and a sports shoe from one of the famous brands.

The prize was bought from the money they had collected together. Lucia was deeply moved and deeply grateful, especially for Dave who was a pioneer in the surprise.

“Oh well, there is a gift package delivery for Kak Lucia. I put it on top of the locker brother” said Dave.

“Gift? From?” ask Lucia.

“Stop it, a courier who drove him” Dave said.

Lucia immediately went to her locker to check. He saw a neat and beautiful parcel, written clearly the name of the recipient is himself. There is even a card written by hand.

‘Happy birthday to my eyes.

“What does this writing mean?” muttered Lusia.

Lucia opened the package of gifts, she was surprised by an item that was very familiar to her. “This is the Heels shoes that I wanted a few months ago when I went to the Mall with Reisa”, he said.

Lucia immediately checked her social media account, she remembers trying to use it to post with a tweet:

Yes, this is a tweet from Lucia on her social media account when trying to use it but not buying.

"Did Reisa buy it for me?” murmured Lucia recalled that time Reisa insisted on buying her, but Lucia refused.

“But that's impossible, why did he write a strange greeting card” said Lucia.

There was no name or return address on the package, only a greeting card with words that made Lucia not understand what the contents of the greeting card meant.

In order to resolve her curiosity, Lucia contacted Reisa for immediate clarification. Reisa said it wasn't from him. Reisa instead becomes the kepo who is kind enough to buy it for Lucia.

Lucia was suddenly thought of by the 2 people who might be suitable to be the candidate of this mysterious sender.

“Kelvin ? Or the... Rayn?"

Lucia asked with a face that was thinking hard. Lucia tried to deny herself if it was impossible for Rayn or Kelvin. Lucia recalled the mysterious man who had bought her popcorn in the cinema. That moment was after he saw the shoes at the Mall with Reisa.

“Allows the man? If it's true that she's been following me and Reisa?” tanya Lucia was still thinking hard.

Kelvin couldn't possibly do a childish thing like this, let alone Rayn. From the greeting card it appears that he was well aware of my situation all along, Rayn was the one who might have done it. But Rayn's condition is unlikely to follow Lucia alone to the Mall when she suffers from haphephobia.

Lucia's plin-plan answers did not find a bright spot who sent it. Lucia decided to ask Rayn directly later when she came home from work.

The day is getting late, approaching the closing hours Cafe Rayn's car is parked waiting for Lucia. After the cafe closed, Lucia immediately approached Rayn and entered the car after saying goodbye to other colleagues.

“Not that guy who came last to the Cafe with him?” ask Vhia.

“You are right” replied Grace.

“What are they dating?” vhia asks Dave as if Dave knows everything about Lucia.

“Why ask me? Obviously Lucia's the one who got into her car. So, ask the person himself" answered Dave and then leave.

“Basic Boy rancid” decak Vhia.

On the way back to Villa, Lucia tried to ask Rayn about the gift of shoes she received. Rayn says she has other gifts she hasn't given to Lucia because Reisa keeps clinging to Lucia all day.

“Why? Did you get a gift from a fan?” tease Rayn.

“You sure it wasn't you?” ask Lucia back without answering Rayn's question.

“I was just curious, who would dare to give a luxury gift to my woman in the style of a mysterious pretentious” said Rayn.

“I'm serious, Ryan” said Lucia.

"I'm serious too, you want me to help you investigate?” ask Rayn.

“You sure you never followed or maybe accidentally met me at the Mall?” tanya Lucia once again convinced herself.

“Why? You suspect something strange about that gift?” ask Rayn.

Lucia looked straight ahead and thought alone again. “Seeing his reaction, it was definitely not him” Lucia murmured in heart.

Rayn reduced the speed and pulled the car over. He again asked Lucia if there was anything troubling him from the package.

"I just feel like it could be that she's the same person that once sent flowers, bought popcorn and somehow coincidentally or how she knew and gave this shoe gift that I wanted.”

“So, this isn't the first time you've received it?” ask Rayn.

Lucia nodded, Ryan reassured Lucia if it really wasn't him. Rayn becomes worried, asking if Lucia might suspect anyone other than herself.

Lucia tells Rayn everything if she initially thinks, if not Ryan then she is Kelvin. But if it turns out all related to other gifts that he received then it is certainly not Kelvin.

Lucia begins to tell Rayn the strange events she experienced. Starting from a flower gift purchased by a mysterious man from the flower shop where he works and the flowers were given to him. The mysterious man who bought popcorn and now a shoe present.

Lucia had become unthinkable with another little thing before. He once met a man who gave him an umbrella when it rained at a stop. The man said he had suspected Lucia of not having an umbrella before he left.

There are many other small events. During this time Lucia had never taken it seriously, she who initially thought that all of it was just a coincidence was now a parno and worried.

Rayn asks Lucia not to worry, while Rayn will ask Arka to look after him during Lusia activities outside the Villa or outside Rayn's supervision.

Lucia initially refused because to him it was too much. But if Rayn had already decided, there was nothing she could do but obey. They also continued their journey home.

Arriving at the Villa, Lucia got out of the car first and got inside the Villa first, while Rayn still remained in the car. He called Mickey and asked him to come to Villa tomorrow when Lusia had gone to work at the Cafe.

At Rayn's request, Mickey comes to Villa when Lucia has already gone to work with Arka. Rayn knew that Lucia would not be comfortable with Arka following her. But for Lucia's safety, Rayn had no other choice.

“You sent Arka with him? Is there something?” mickey asks him to find out that Rayn sent Arka away with Lucia.

“That's the thing I want to discuss with you, therefore I ask you to come” Rayn said.

Rayn asks Mickey to investigate again the mysterious car that once entered the Villa area. The mysterious car that Lucia used to think was the loan shark her stepfather owed.

“You want to investigate it again?” ask Mickey. “Why?” tanyanya.

At that time Mickey had reported to Rayn if the car was using an unregistered fake license plate. Mickey also makes sure that the man is not Rayn's father's man or the man from his father's rival who threatens Rayn.

The mysterious car comes for Lusia, someone related to Lucia. That's why Rayn asked Mickey to set up some bodyguards for Lucia. However, not a long interval of escorts in revoked according to Lucia's request.

“Send me back the mysterious car's cctv recording” Rayn told Mickey.

Mickey nodded his head still with a small laugh. He knew that right now Rayn's seriousness was of course all about Lucia.

Mickey decided to send in additional guards at the Villa, including a guard at the entrance to the Villa area. Although it's Lucia's problem, Mickey doesn't want to let his guard down, but he'll add more scrutiny personally to Rayn's safety.

Rayn agreed to it because of Villa's security, he had already surrendered completely to Mickey. Except for the escort for himself, he only entrusted 1 person, Arka.

Rayn takes time to accept all the possibilities that could have changed her life later after remembering everything. He does not want to regret and does not want to lose anyone else, including Mickey.

“Wahh... It seems like I need to get rid of all the fairy tale books in your closet and replace them with romance books”tuk Mickey.

Mickey walked up to Rayn sitting at his reading table. “Do you also need me to help you find a love consultant?” mickey asked in a soft voice mocking Rayn.

“Out..”.

Rayn's orders are short and then continue to reread the fairy tale book in her hands. Mickey chuckled at Rayn's reaction.

“Just worry about you who are still single” said Rayn when Mickey was about to go down the stairs.

Hearing Rayn's innuendo, Mikcey became unfocused and nearly slipped. Rayn's counterattack would have been like a deadly shot.

“Wah you hurt my pride that has been loyal to you to not have time to date”, Mickey said.

Mickey continued down the stairs with a nag, while Rayn simply smiled.

“This is what I have always hoped for, a relationship that I still want to maintain between us. Mom, wait for me in a minute. Trust me, I will end it all without losing anyone. Mickey, Dad and Lucia”

Rayn closed the fairy tale book in her hand and stared at a photo located in the corner of her desk. A picture of him with Mickey as a child.
